I know some perfectly nice detrans people who have shared their stories with me, and they do have unique problems and perspectives that I think would benefit from community

the problem is, TVP (the only legitimate 'voices project') (besides me of course) was created to help transfeminine people share their stories of abuse or assault in a world that doesn't consider them capable of being victims. and I don't know how much of that detrans people specifically are subject to. I would assume not much. I am not detrans and don't know much about them, so maybe I'm wrong

the other problem is that detrans people, when they are found speaking on gender, often use their experience to inform a viewpoint that transgender is bad in some way. as a TME person with empathy for transfeminine people, I have sympathy for detrans people who are chill and just want community. but i don't think a 'voices project' style arrangement would be the best way to do that

maybe consider a tumblr group. if you make one, maybe give it some strict up-front guidelines to keep transphobic people from speaking over those who just want to be around people with shared experiences
