"If you don’t mind, I seem to be quite lost. Where am I?" Lana looked around her surroundings, she hadn’t been to these parts before.

Regina frowned. “These are the woods North of the town. How in the world did you get lost here?”

"I was walking and I’ve never been to these parts before. Woods aren’t exactly my forte, everything looks the same here and I can’t tell which direction to take back to town."

"Well, I suppose I’ll help you back. I finished what I was doing here anyways." With that Regina pivoted and headed in the opposite direction.

Lana hurried to catch up to her and matched her pace. “Thanks so much, I take it you like the woods? You know them so well.”

"I suppose." She had never really thought of it like that. "I’m not all that welcome in the town and I like I can be myself out here."

"Mmhm." Lana said with a nod. "I could have guessed as much. Even if you aren’t liked in town, what does the woods offer to you that solitude in your home doesn’t?"

"Life." Regina answered simply. There was so much life out in the woods that the dead silence of her home could never compare to.

"Rather simply put, but you’re not wrong." Lana said with a smile and looking at the other. "I don’t think I introduced myself, I’m Lana."

"Hello Lana, I’m sure you know who I am, both sides.Who were you back in the Enchanted Forest?"

"I do know both sides." Lana smiled and looked ahead on the forest path. "I was Rapunzel then, I don’t think we knew eachother before, but I certainly had heard of you. It is quite a change to see you like this, though."

Regina glanced sadly at the girl, just another victim of her curse she didn’t know. “Most people just me me for the mistakes I’ve made, they don’t really know me and 28 years conscious of everything really changed me. Henry helped as well.”

"Henry is my son and I’d like to think so. When you become addicted as I was to magic each day is a struggle to move past it. I’m not perfect nor am I on the good level Snow and the rest are but I try." Regina eyed the forest. "This way." she murmured turning.

Lana took careful steps, both literally and figuratively with Regina. “So Henry is your tether to the good side?” Lana smiled at the thought, how lovely it must be to have a child as good as Henry.

Regina paused. “Yes, I suppose that’s a good way to put it. He makes me want to be a better person. Through his eyes I’ve seen the hell I’ve caused and I want to make things right.”

"That's good." She said with a smile. "Actually, that's more than good, it's fantastic. Just keep hanging in there and trying and I'm sure the town with accept you once more, there's hope for everyone."
