namjoon truly doesn’t deserve the shit he gets from the world he takes everything to heart and thinks too much and just wants to do good by others and to be able to love himself. he’s earnest and genuine and has so much love in his heart, he just wants to be a good person. he really takes in all criticism and really turns it over in his head for ages, asks mentors about it, goes out of his way to educate himself to avoid hurting others. it’s dumb bc i dont really know but i can just kinda feel it from the way he talks, the things he talks about, the way he carries himself? he’s just a good person. the world needs more people like him.

concept: living in an apartment in a foreign city. the smell of the bakery down the street comes in through the open window and sunlight warms your back while you lay in bed with a cup of tea on the nightstand and your pet sleeping at your feet. in the next room is all the books you could ever read, but a few of your favorites are still scattered around your bedroom because you’re in the middle of reading them all again. music plays faintly. you are relaxed, happy, and the only thing you have to worry about is what you want to make for breakfast.

my father told me once to never date anyone who talks smoothly around you from the start because if someone likes you they should be a little nervous and honestly i think that’s some of the best advice anyone has ever given me

i told my dad about this text post and he got so excited he teared up and then he said he felt like he just adopted forty thousand new children to share his wisdom with and he hopes all of you meet kind, sweet people he would be proud of
