I'm So Totally

RIP Toriyama. One of the biggest influences on art and design throughout my whole life.

After weeks of searching for a place to live in Boston, we finally got approved for a loft in the North End in the lead up to our move in 3 weeks. This is a huge weight off of my mind as all of the moving from Ireland to Boston and Kansas to Boston has really been adding up. 

I’ve been wanting a loft for quite a while, an empty canvas to set up with all of my records and music equipment amongst a sophisticated, retro-chic design. I’m thinking Mad Men with a mixer, a place where Don Draper would DJ.

Nearly 2 years ago, I picked up my life from small town Kansas and pursued a goal to live abroad for the sake of professional and personal development. It’s been nearly 2 years since I sold most of my things, put the rest into storage, and hopped on a plane to Ireland.

I knew it was only going to be temporary, but it’s been fun, trying, emotional, and lucrative and I started falling in love with the idea of never moving back stateside. 

Until I was asked to. 

In only a few months, I’ll say good bye to a place that I was growing more comfortable calling home for a lot longer than I’ll be able to. At the same time, I’ll have to learn how to become comfortable in another new city: 

Boston.
