when I was working out a form for her it was important for her to look less like machine-like than the other wyrms and more like an organic creature with some duviri design aspects. such as the scoring seen on the citizen's skin. she's not like the other duviri residents. she's an outlier and I wanted to reflect that in every aspect of her design. but I also wanted to preserve the basic silhouette of the orowyrms at the same time. which meant I needed to find something that resembled those attachments on their heads since their heads are their most distinct feature she'd already had an (undeveloped at the time) deer motif going on. so I turned to that first. I liked the idea of antlers on the wyrm, and a cervid's head was the right amount of "cryptid" for her, which is what a lot of her vibe is. I didn't stick with one cervid though. there's a few interesting ones and since this is warframe I don't have to reflect a single real life species. I fudged the antlers a little and gave her fangs which some species have

and the antlers serve another purpose of making her look like an outlier. the courtier wyrm head adornments point forward, while her antlers point back. although I'm probably going to be making my own courtier wyrms in the future since I'm making my own courtier designs in general haha. with those the robotic designs will be preserved though so she stays the outlier

so a wyrm with a cervid head + big floof + one small limb became the base design idea that'll let me add and tweak some smaller details until I figure everything out. the mandible bone is a newer addition because I thought adding it would take away from her orowyrm silhouette, but it turned out to not do that since the orowyrms have a kind of lower jaw structure anyway. so I gave her one. I think it looks nicer the regular orowyrm tail didn't work for my less robotic design, so I just made it taper off. I feel like aside from the finer details she fits the look of a non-robotic orowyrm

I'm sure I'm gonna be making a bunch of adjustments until I settle on the final look, but this is the direction the design's going in in general
