Welcome everyone, with or without a shell, to the Tortally-Rad blog!
Here to give you your daily dose of tortoise, there'll be daily posts, typically with images. All media will be described, but if the description isn't very good, please let me know so I can fix it! I'm not visually impared/Blind, so my visual descriptions may be a bit off - any suggestions for improvement are appreciated!
Submissions and asks about anything tortoise, turtle or terapin welcome! Only rules are be nice, nothing inappropriate (no NSFW, gore, abuse, etc), any media must have credit given to the original photographer/videographer, and keep things on topic!
If thereās a species I havenāt shown yet, feel free to send in requests of your favourites you want to see!
I am not an expert, just someone who really loves tortoises! If I get anything wrong, or unknowingly post/reblog something harmful, please let me know so I can take it down! On that note, sometimes species is not specified in the source, so I have to try to figure it out myself - I try to make sure IDs are as accurate as possible, but of course, I am bound to make mistakes; please bear with me, and feel free to offer corrections if you notice anything!
This blog is inspired by the wonderful @loveisinthebat, whom I highly recommend you check out if you like daily animals and/or bats!
