What Is a Blended Learning First Aid Course?
A blended learning course combines two components:
1. Online, Self-Paced Theory
Participants complete an online learning module provided by the Canadian Red Cross. This portion covers essential knowledge, regulations, and emergency response concepts. An email invitation from the Red Cross is sent within 24 hours after registration. The online component must be completed before attending the in-class session.
2. In-Class Practical Skills Training
After finishing the online theory, participants attend an in-person session led by a certified Red Cross First Aid Instructor. The classroom portion focuses on practicing and demonstrating skills such as CPR, injury management, and the use of an AED. This hands-on segment ensures participants can confidently respond to real emergencies.
Toronto CPR provides two blended training options:
Standard First Aid & CPR/AED Level C
Standard First Aid Level C + Basic Life Support (BLS)
Student or Bring-a-Friend Rates
Standard First Aid Level C + BLS: $130.00
