Here are a couple you can pick and choose from!
The one on the left is Geode, and the one on the right is Hire.
Geode is a very hardworking boy, he went to a very prestigious school at a very young age. He hopes to one day, collect enough money, and return to his family. To connect with home again. With enough skills to prove it was all worth it.
(But he also struggles with audio processing disorder, and processing issues reading. Often beating himself up for it.)
He's also alovespec, and probably transgender but we keep going back and fourth..
Hire's mother died when he was born, so his father "hired" him to make him "repay his debt." Hire works as a monster hunter. Then, the guild comes along! And he learns about nice people. But their connection has to be kept a secret! As Hire's dad does not want him getting distracted.
Hire is alovespec, a trans male, and intersex.
His job is also the only way Hire can "earn the right to be called a boy" in his father's terms.
The one in the first picture is Melody, and she's also on the right in the second picture. Folk is on the left in the second picture.

Melody was a middle child in a big family. A rich big family. She knew she simply wasn't getting the care, and thrill, she really needed, so she ran away and joined Folk on her quest.
Melody is a very caring soul in their group of four (her, Folk, John and Sickle, (his name is a wip.)) Trying at every turn, to get the best deals and the most resources for their group. While also trying to help them with their emotional issues. Being a common shoulder to cry on.
She has a bad habit of being to hard on herself, and hating any amount that she has to rely on others. So she keeps a lot of secrets with things she struggles with. She takes on too much responsibility, often the entire group's emotions!
What she needs is some hot chocolate and a blanket.
She's also demiaesthetic, a demigirl, and a lesbian.
Folk struggles with worsening chronic joint issues. (Us!!) However, she does not want to just slow down! She has goals! And a life of adventure ahead of her! Surely she can't stop, just when everything's only began!
She learns lessons the hard way. Isn't very smart, and often picks the silly, impulsive way to do things.
Like using her slime form to hunt wild rabbits when they're all hungry, and without fire.. "Can't we just eat these things whole? I know I can!" Then, she nearly does! But Melody goes: "NONONONONO-" So she pauses just long enough for Melody to pull it away from her. Then, they collect safe to eat mushrooms instead. Good times.
She's quick to work, and a fun presence to help you through it! If Melody was a trusty anchor, Folk's her party yaht.
(Her slime form doubles as a power, with a cost, she can't hear, or feel anything very well while in it, will draw to show you later!)
