Georgette is bitter. She’s in Elias because she has to be, not because she wants to be… and where she wants to be is her 5th Avenue penthouse in the city of her dreams living the life she was supposed to have after looking her mother in the eyes and telling the divorce lawyers that she would be staying with her father. The girl is in denial about all of her inner demons and that manifests itself in an ego the size of Manhattan. An ego that Jenny and Oliver (and now the whole of Elias) has to deal with. Georgette is supposed to be looking out for the pair as they navigate through university, but she’s more concerned with rebuilding her brand in a mysterious city that she knows nothing about. She went from holding New York in the palm of her hand to now having to start all over on the bottom of the Elias barrel. The girl is determined to show this city (and her new adoring fans) that she’s the cream of the crop and will always end up on top.
past !!
With a silver spoon in her mouth the moment she was born, Georgette inherited wealth and status without any examples of how not to abuse it. Especially with her father as a role model. She wanted for nothing and always had eyes on her… so naturally the more she grew, the more spoiled she became. Georgette ran with the elite of New York City and made sure everyone knew it. Her lifestyle revolved around money and luxury, and it began to drastically corrupt both her attitude and her identity. At the end of the day, the only person she ever felt like she could let her guard down around was her mother. Now, Georgette’s mother was by no means a saint. She wasn’t always around and wasn’t necessarily the best role model either; but to Georgette she was everything. Her mother knew all her fears, all her dreams, all her doubts— she was almost like a sister. Their connection was undeniable… until Georgette’s father forced her to choose between love or money. That decision, as well as everything surrounding her father’s affair, brought out the worst in Georgette. How could her father choose the maid over herself and her mother?? And on top of that, he was slowly trying to be a better person because of them? Why couldn’t he be better for his actual family? Georgette quickly went from spoiled to all out rotten. For the first time in her life she felt inferior, so she made her father (and everybody else) feel the same in return. Their father-daughter relationship was replaced by something more comparable to business partners, and eventually Georgette found herself shipped out to Elias with Jenny and Oliver scum and scummer.
future !!
My hopes for Georgette’s future is for her to embrace who she truly is away from the money, the attitude and the limelight. Georgette has big dreams and actual talent that she suppresses in fear that she will fall from the top of her sky-high pedestal. Deep down, she wants to be more than the person she pretends to be. She wants to apologize to her mother. She wants to have real friends who care about her instead of just her net worth. She wants to be recognized for more than just her beauty… I’d also love for her to eventually come to terms with Jenny and Oliver. Georgette would be a pretty kick ass older sister after she’s knocked down a few pegs!

Georgette didn’t know what to make of herself tonight. Here she was at a… somewhat extravagant party, in a killer outfit that was sure to draw all wandering eyes, and yet… no one was whispering her name? No one was taking her picture? “Dorothy should have known better than choosing Kansas over Oz," she groaned in annoyance, "Then again, at least she had a choice.”
The girl was beginning to find herself in a sour mood. And when it came to Georgette, sulking was typically followed up with either impulsive decisions or throwing her father’s money around. Sometimes both... Usually both. So, when someone bumped her shoulder at the bar, she decided that was the cherry on top. “Never-mind your apologies. What would you say to a friendly gamble? We are in a casino after all. Wanna see if your night will start with a trick or a treat? A word of caution though, if you want in, I hope you’re ready to offer something worthwhile to a girl like me."
Logan wasn’t exactly a happy camper. He had argued his need to be here tonight but it had been met with a glare and slap in the back of his head so here he was. Halloween had always been the best holiday for him since he did have a sweet tooth but dressing up at this age was not his thing. He dressed himself as a devil because it was the only thing he could some up with. He knew Orion was up to something with Beck and that meant Logan was on lookout duty.
He was passing out the sweet drinks that were coming from the bar. “Would you like a drink?” He tried for a more pleasant tone than usual. If only because he didn’t want to hear it.
It was practically in Georgette's DNA to arrive fashionably late to a party, so she hadn't been at the casino all too long. Even so, she was pretty appalled at the fact that no one had offered to buy her a drink yet. The devil on her shoulder was practically screaming at her to ditch Jenny and Oliver in exchange for a first class ticket back to her beloved New York. The angel was saying her outfit was too good.
Nevertheless, her inner conversation was interrupted by a different little devil standing before her. "Finally," she sighed, taking the drink he offered, "you weren't exactly what i was expecting but I guess I'll take what I can get in this town," she huffed. With a sip of her drink, Georgette's eyes trailed the devil up and down. "I can tell a miserable member of staff when I see one... Don't tell me you're not having a scary good time," she uttered sarcastically.
Halloween. Not his favorite time of year, not his favorite holiday to celebrate. But it was the perfect opportunity to go out and be on the look out for shady figures. Besides, he wanted to have some fun and a casino was a good place to let loose. If anything, he could focus on that rather than how much he hated this holiday. Let the children trick or treat and let people way smarter than him deal with any evil people that were lurking around in the town. It shouldn’t really be his responsibility anyway, he was basically too young to deal with adult problems. Tonight he felt like he didn’t belong in a place like this. Everyone dressed in their costumes and having fun, yet here he was with a deep annoyance for this holiday and a costume he pulled from his closet. “Do you know if the punch is spiked?” he asked the closest person.
Still being a fairly fresh face in Elias, Georgette wasn't sure of who to expect showing up at such an event. As far as she was concerned, hers was the only face that mattered anyway. Nevertheless, she can't say she wasn't happy to see a familiar mop of brown hair bobbing amongst the masses... although she was a little surprised.
"This isn't your high school prom, Max," Georgette scoffed, "If you want a real drink, go up to the bar and order a one like a big boy." As she looked him over, she couldn't help but notice he seemed a little jumpy. "You know the costumes are fake right? Fortunately for them, just because the bartender is dressed like a monster doesn't they are one. Why do you seem so tense? Also... what are you? Some sort of hipster cat burglar?"
the night seemed to be going off without a hitch; there was certainly something in the air that was to blame. perhaps it was the full moon, after all. that’s when the crazy people come out to play. and come, they had. the sound of tokens and ringing of cha-ching-ching-ching-a-ling echoed through the halls. another win for a lucky soul. the music had drown out the chatter of ghosts, ghouls, vampires, and cowboys, and orion. well, he strolled through his casino, the smile across his lips lighting up the room as his guest began to stream accepting his sincerest welcome.
he had gone over to the bar to make sure the services were running smoothly when he noticed a lost sheep waiting for a good shepherd.
“now now, are you lost or are we just not having a good time?”
he inquired, hand offering the stranger a clear beverage, white wings spread out elegantly across his back.
The jewels shining from the stitches of her costume weren't enough to distract Georgette from the unfamiliarity of her surroundings. She's never found herself in a casino before. Especially one with such a... unique aesthetic. Nevertheless, she'd hardly pass on an extravagant party and a chance to show herself off.
The girl didn't have a set destination in mind as she idled through the slot machines and rolling dice, but she knew she definitely needed a drink... And lo and behold, a literal angel brought her one. "Yes to both and no to both," she answered honestly, perking up a bit from the newfound attention. As she eyed him over, she could tell he had an air of importance about him, at least for tonight's festivities anyway. Plus, Georgette tends to have a good radar for knowing when it's time to impress. "I'm more accustomed to parties at The Plaza than bashes at the betting pool," she stated, accepting the drink he offered. "You however seem quite comfortable for an angel in the hub of temptation."

it seems they were on their own after losing lightning in the commotion. they had been walking for about an hour by this point, feet agonizing from the blisters and a lack of funds in their missing wallet. luck did not appear to be on their side tonight. fran was sitting on the cold floor with an empty cup in their hand, scrolling through their phone as a stranger stood in front of them.
"mi scusi, have you seen a wallet made of black saffiano leather? It seems i have misplaced both my wallet and the man of my dreams in this hellhole”
As usual at an event like this, Georgette's eyes were on a constant swivel. Up, down, a quick roll around... and occasionally a subtle squint of approval. While she wasn't at all familiar with the casino lifestyle, the girl thrived in any occasion that allowed her to judge the poor outfit choices of others. It was one of her favorite activities, after all.
The corners of her lips were relentless as they gave away her inner thoughts on each costume that crossed her gaze. Thoughts that were rudely disrupted after nearly tripping over someone sat on the floor. Georgette was just about to give them a piece of her mind... until they uttered two magic little words that caught her so off guard that she forgot her insult. "Did you just say Saffiano leather? As in the signature of Prada? You're telling me someone else in this stale little town actually knows about high-quality textiles? I could cry."
