Should've drawn this on the fourth of July

Day 7 — decided to draw what could happen if... someone's deep dream of having a family actually came true. So yeah, this is a kid from those two, ahah. And yes, below the art there'll be my late-night cringe, just made it for fun, lol.

A fleeting conscience

In one of the AU scenes, there was a moment that laid bare just how much stronger the fear for one's own skin was than conscience. Vi had a chance — a real opportunity to help both herself and another person, to break free from all of it. But she couldn't bring herself to take it. Too heavy to shoulder the responsibility, too terrifying to change anything in the established hell, no matter how bad it was. So... her conscience flickered — and went out. It led to nothing.

And one more sketch. Vi doesn't like it when someone points out that she's slowly getting used to something horrible. She won't say it outright — instead, she'll try to steer the conversation elsewhere. She desperately wants to go home.

I think Eddie has frequent back problems. He may take care of himself and his physique, but age makes itself known. And then there's the job. After all, he has to haul big, dead animal carcasses — kind of ruins your back, doesn't it
