hey tumblr! haven't been around in a while but I have a new game in the works and wanted to share it with you. it's called the sea around us and it's a gm-less worldbuilding game where you create and explore coastal cultures and the waters around them, all via the stories people tell about the ocean.

I'm aiming to have it out in mid-may, but in the meantime you can find out more and pre-order the digital version at a 15% discount here.

I made a game called TENDING – I describe it as a mixed-media religion-building solo ttrpg.

it's designed to take players through the process of creating a fictional religion by:

exploring ideas from the natural world

focusing on a single holy site and how place interacts with community and belief

creating stories and details by playing out acts of devotional labour

– with dice/card-based and more open-ended prompts that can be responded to with a mix of writing, drawing and collaging.

i am old to tumblr but haven't been active in a time, so this is a new intro for a new account :)

i live in london; i write & make things like fictions, games, poems & collages; my hobbies include reading, gaming, foraging, mudlarking, eating & being gay.

in the last few years i've gotten into ttrpg design which has been really fun. i made a game called TENDING which i describe as a mixed-media solo religion-building game, and have a new cool thing in the works that i hope to share more about SOON.
