Dear, 2020. Thank You! Thank You for kicking my ass and allowing me to get back up to kick yours. Thank You for showing me that I have everything I need to succeed in life even if that means doing things the hard way. Thank You for not giving up on me and putting my patience to the test without allowing me to study first. This year has been a year I'll never forget, it was jam-packed with a lot of challenges, I lost more than I gained, and I was reminded of what real pain feels like. But even with so much darkness hovering over us there was still a glimpse of light that shined through. With that being said in 2020 I got my first car. I've been driving since I was 15 but I never owned my own car and this year I was able to get one without a Co-signer. 2020 was the year of the verification. I got verified on @Instagram @Genius and @Soundcloud Forbes nominated me for their 30 under 30 Class. Even though I didn't win it was cool to see myself as a nominee. I played a lot of games this year and became a Twitch affiliate and Facebook Gaming Level Up Member on top of becoming an Xbox Ambassador and getting accepted into Epic Games "Epic Creator Program". I launched a photography company and became a Licensed Adobe Stock Business. I wasn't able to release music this year but I used my resources to add some of my brothers to a playlist with the help of @Spotify I also became an Amazon Music Artist and released the first of 10 physical instrumental Albums this year (9 more is on the way). @Hulu opened their ad program to my business, The Oscars invited me to become a member of their museum, and I spent most of my time on the road with my main homie @sweett.shit 8,000 miles were put on my car this year visiting places for the first time and creating memories that will last a lifetime. This year 2020 was the worst and best year of my life and I hope one day we can all look back on this year with a smile on our faces. I must say, creating this post was the hardest post I've ever created. There are so many photos I had to leave out because I couldn't find the room. I guess that's a good problem to have because that means I did a lot this year! With that being said, 2019 was jampacked with a lot of first times and new experiences on top of rebuilding a dream that I thought I've lost many years ago. 2019 allowed me to see more parts of Cali, like the Zoo, Universal, and LA Comic-Con. 2019 also showed me a different point a view by becoming a License Dron Pilot I've been able to see things that I never knew existed before. 2019 showed me that I can still run by running my first Big 5K as an adult and joining USATF as an 800m runner. I went back to school in 2019 for my Master's degree, My sports agency is a registered company with the NCAA for college basketball, I became a licensed Apple Tech, Got my Boater's Licenses (Soon I'll own a boat), Became a FB Gaming Partner and got invited out to EA Play for playing NBA Live. I started collecting video games with some collections almost complete, I released 4 albums this year. The most albums I've ever released in one year. With those 4 albums being released I've officially released 100 songs over my entire career with 40 of those songs released this year! I joined the Musicians Union, Invited to the Grammys once again (Not sure If I'm Going), Finally own the Trademark for "TooSmooth", Created a Management, and Publicist company, Taken over Spotify's Homepage 7 times, worked many cool award shows, LOE was invited to NAB as a production company, was apart of the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) New Music Friday, Had songs listed on many major Playlist from SoundCloud, Spotify, Pandora, and other streaming platforms and my label "Lights Out Entertainment" is up for consideration for "Small Label of The Year". When I say "this year was a big year" I mean it. I've been given more blessings than I can count and I know for a fact, even more, are on the way. I'm not holding back in 2020! For me 2018 has been the year of second chances and new experiences! Being able too walk across a stage to accept a Bachelors degree, finishing my first television season, and finally having a nephew. I’ve seen some amazing things and met some amazing people, created business that will pave the way for another crazy year and finally finishing new music! I trended on @Shazam got verified buy @YouTube , @Google and @Amazon . iHeartRadio played many of my songs on air, @BMI and the #Grammys invited me to their award shows! Got home from living a dream at CBS and found out this bad boy has finally been delivered! You guys don’t understand how hard this was for me mentally. I dropped out of school many times I believe the number is around 7 (🤷🏽‍♀️) but that’s because I didn’t have the drive or a reason to finish. Moving to Cali changed my whole view on college. I was the kid who picked music and a dream over school. People in my ear saying making music isn’t a job or “most people don’t make it that far” I have no idea what “That Far” means but I’ve seen and done some pretty amazing things with it. Now I’m the guy everyone sends their mixtape too, the guy people come to for business advice or the simple “put me on bro”! I took time off from releasing music to finish something I started a long time ago and I must say it feels fucking amazing. You can believe in a dream and finishing school.
