I've been home for all of like five days and I just found out I have to leave for Scotland for almost another month in like 2 weeks @_@

Beyond that, I’m incredibly honored to be a part of the Warr family of artists.  I think their guitars are beautiful beyond measure and among the most unique and head-turning instruments out there.  It’s an instrument I play with pride.  I hope to share some clips of how it sounds soon.

Back in March we unfortunately had to put down our loving cat Adeline. Our house has had a cat-shaped hole in it ever since. We decided a few weeks ago to fill that hole with these two goofballs: Fran, the spotted cat, is three months old, and Lulu the black cat is four. They are named after my wife's favorite characters in Final Fantasy XII and X. They are the sweetest, snuggliest, most wonderful kittens in the entire universe and we are absolutely smitten by them.

2019 has been quite a wild ride.  We bought a house earlier this year, and last month I got married.  Life’s moving real fast, but at least it’s moving in the right direction.  It’s nice to know for sure that I am absolutely making the right decision.  It feels like a weight has been lifted off my chest: I’ve finally gotten to a fantastic place in life with a person I love, and I’ve got all the space in the world to do what I want.  It’s like I can finally start living life to the fullest

Beirut seems like such a cool city.  It’s just a shame I don’t think I’ll be allowed to see a lot of it because of safety reasons.

Sandwiched in there somewhere, though, seeing the brief Celestial (ISIS) set was something incredibly memorable.  I’ve talked at length on here many a post about how important their music was to me in my adolescence and in some tumultuous personal times as well.  The honor of seeing and hearing and feeling some choice cuts from Oceanic and Panopticon is a sensation that has been replaying itself over and over again since.
