noelia vargas (npc); ex fiancée. once the woman he thought he'd thought he'd spend his life with, she's the one that got away. meeting in japan, he'd fallen for her at first sight. though that had an on/off relationship, she eventually got pregnant. quick to propose, they started settling into their new life. everything was perfect until it wasn't. her past with jay came to light and he'd mistakenly believed she cheated. after treating her harshly, they broke up. unbeknownst to him, she had a miscarriage but told him she'd lied about the pregnancy. he eventually learned the truth, blaming his actions for what happened. it took some time and a brief attempt at being together again for them to settle on a friendship.

jay white; former friend. once upon a time in bullet club, hiku considered jay to be like second family. though more often than not, they butted heads with clashing personalities. it wasn't until jay's past with noelia came out that truly unraveled things. to him, it was a betrayal and he cut jay out. they clashed for a while, some of it spilling into the ring. even now, he doesn't speak to jay much, neither man finding it necessary to dredge up the past.

tama tonga; big brother. although he's taller, it's obvious that hiku's always looked up to tama. without question - for better or worse. any ups and downs, the brothers knew they could count on each other. but, when he found out that his brother had a fling with noelia first? it threatened to destroy their bond. for the first time, he finally saw how blindly he'd listen to his brother. despite that, they were able to mend their relationship and get that closeness back.

el phantasmo; best friend. even now, hiku's not sure how it happened. he'd always known riley, but they didn't truly get close until they started teaming together. tba.
