like i feel insane. why do so few people notice this disparity? so many black transfems have fled, deactivated, or been terminated. the few who are left are usually getting targeted by harassment campaigns, denied autonomy, treated as mere scapegoats, and are often forced to stay in this murderously hostile environment for mutual aid reasons. why do we not notice this more???

i miss the old tumblr days when we would spend hours on our laptops customizing themes to make our blogs look aesthetically pleasing. back then your tumblr page felt like a reflection of your personality and now that it’s mostly mobile based, everyone sees the same layout. a lot of the creativity and individuality that made tumblr so fun feels lost
