Bell is the first and only restaurants of the 324 location strong Bikkuri Donkey hambagu restaurants chain that kept its original name and is located in Morioka, in Iwate prefecture where the restaurant was founded 42 years ago. Sasaki-san was the first restaurant manager and came back from retirement to act as the welcoming doorman. 72 years old, he spends 4 hours every day greeting every person and vehicle that passes in front of the restaurant and plans to keep on doing in until he reaches 150. This restaurant is also the only one of the chain to boast japanese rooms with mat and a smal japanese garden where customers bury time capsules for three years.

Tenmei daiginjo, meaning only 47% of the rice was used to brew it. At around 3600 yens for 1800ml, this is still a steal. Must try.

First time that I see this shichida although I've been into this maker for some time now. Pretty much unfiltered, bit dry, with an incredible strong taste and flavor. Better have some strong flavored food along with it. About 1200 yen for 720ml. A definitely must try.
