And I am aware of that expressing a country with unique diverse features as one solid being with human traits can be problematic (it enforces nationalist ideology, the characters tend to be majority-looking, etc etc)

There’s some post on r/culatedtumblr about how every single “what if countries are humans” attempt is inherently stereotyping and racist

The thing is I generally agree with that statement but I can’t help loving it when things I love are people, and the things I love the most are Central European nations. To answer 0.5 people who’s been wondering if my CZ-SK are siblings or girlfriends/wives, I genuinely don’t know what to do with them… It’s a canon for me that they used same human surname during 1918-1992, but they are not telling me if it’s #bratrstvo or marriage. I’ve seen my Twitter countrysona mutuals having to deal with extreme nationalists because the countrysona artworks they made were interpreted weirdly

So I decided to make arts about historical shenanigans no one is proud of (example: relationship between Cuman-Polovtsians and Hungarians, Czechs and Rakousko-Uherské vyrovnání)

But this policy has a big downside and it’s that I can’t project my favorite nationalist artworks to my countrysona while I’m playing house with them dolls. As I once said on the main, I’m thankful that I’m emotional enough to enjoy nationalist arts but rational enough not to wholeheartedly believe them

Every single day I wish somebody would get fond of my brainrot aka Cumangary. I don’t know how it entered my brain but somehow I even wrote a 160-page long story of it. I want to submit this shit on AO3, but I don’t have any idea how literature in English language works, and I don’t want to translate all of it

My wish coming true is not impossible, or at least I think so, because I once saw somebody mention countrysona!cuman-polovets/countrysona!bulgaria (I think it was one of hetalia fans)

As a countrysona person I think about this often

I was very certain that Poland Countrysona has 1111 (her Independence Day) as her phone PIN number, making her phone security the worst (4 same digits, her Independence Day is written on Wikipedia and everybody can see it, etc) but I realized that it could be fcking 2137

I was writing a historical-setting countrysona stuff, and I couldn’t find info about the date of a battle, so I decided to just fck-it-we-ball it and wrote the scene as occurring in a vague neither-hot-nor-cold setting

I finally found some info on it (yay) and guess what, the battle occurred during the snowy season, so now I have to rewrite the entire scene

you do you but don’t fight during the winter maybe

I took a look at my drafts and this was the only thing rotting there
