whatever the fuck they want in the groupchat but when it’s me suddenly everyone’s silent or uncomfortable or only sending react messages. Or worse. Not getting the hint that I just want a friend listening not giving advice for a situation I don’t even want to be in. I have a specific friend. That has SERIOUS problems with knowing when to give advice and when to shut the fuck up. Having desi friends can be so difficult bc they intimately understand a lot of things but on the flip side they have sm difficulty seeing other perspectives on life and get really annoying about assuming you’ll live life the same way as them eventually even if ur “different now”. Or they get passive aggressive over something. I need to get outta here distance makes the heart grow fonder right.
