Do people realize that you could apply for a bajillion jobs online and hear back from like….two?

This just popped back up in my activity feed after a very long time and I just want to express that online job applications are STRESSFUL. I got the most interview opportunities by knowing a person who knows a person and by finding people/companies through in person networking/casual connections on Twitter. If you feel like you’re a failure bc applying online yields maybe 3 interviews out of 20, you’re not alone.

you know that feeling when you cannot fucking wait to be in a relationship and you day dream about what you’ll do on dates with your future s/o but also at the same time you’re afraid to put yourself out there AND YOU JUST DON’T FEEL READY bc same
