Coming Home: Oliver & Thea

Thea supposed that Oliver was at least slightly correct. She probably should make a few weeks before making waves with her mother. Her plans for the future would work best if her family didnât have reason to look to hard at what she was doing. âFine, I wonât stay anythingâŚfor now.â
Thea let out a relieved breath as he said that she could borrow some clothes. âThanks. I guess Iâve got to go shopping some time in the next few days.â The idea was not a pleasant one. She had no idea what was in fashion these days nor where to even start.
With that said, Thea made her way into her adjoining bathroom. It would take a long while to wash away five years, but she had to try, did she? Staring into the mirror above the sink, she could recognize herself in the looking glass. She had mission to fulfill.
âThanks, Speedy. The last thing Iâd want is for you to be on the rocks with her when you just got here.â Especially not over him. Now that Thea was home and safe it didnât really matter to him whether he ever got back into QC now - the only reason heâd been there before was to find her. And given that the relationship between he and Moira was already strained to breaking, at least there would be one child in the house who didnât dislike.
Oliver smiled.  âYeah - Iâm sure Mom would take you, if you wanted.â Heâd have suggested Laurel, but they didnât really speak any more and he wasnât going to be the one to heal that rift.  âTime for a whole new wardrobe.â
Once she was in the shower, Oliver returned to his room and found the smallest pair of sweats he owned. There were a few t-shirts in his closet that didnât fit him that well any more, so he added one of those and set the pile at her bathroom door before kicking up his feet and lying down in her bed. He couldnât believe he actually had his sister back after so long, but he was incredibly grateful.
