The city of Rennes is absolutely charming AF. I mean, just look at the whimsical architecture of the old timber framed buildings.

Mostly populated over the last century by the industrial boom of automotive and cinema, the steadily growing city of Rennes has so much culture to offer. Dubbed by L’Express as “the most liveable city in France,” and featuring an oceanic climate - you’ll quickly be wondering how the 200,000+ residents discovered it before you did. 

There is absolutely no lack of scenery here. Nestled between the Ille and Vilaine river, there is a gorgeous green belt that separates rural from urban. The kind of city you’ll want to grab a galette, rent a bike, & set off to explore it’s beautiful parks & historic sites. Famous for the market in the Place de Lices held every Saturday, museums, and it’s perfectly mild weather year round. TLDR; it’s basically the California of France.
