Oh totally, I’m like 78% there, I can’t even stay off of amazon

“So you still don’t cook?” She said jokingly raising an eyebrow and laughing. Starting to cook, Alena folded her arms and listened to Meredith talk about her intern days. She’d heard the name Izzie float around here and there but never in detail like this. “When I was like really small, before I got adopted, I lived with this latina woman, her name was Manuela Diaz. She taught me how to cook all this homemade stuff, I guess it just stuck with me.” She said with a smile on her face. “Wanna learn how to make stuff crescent rolls?”

Well I brought a new blender, if that counts for anything

It’s totally okay, I understand

Alena laughed and looked at her. “Just wait until she turns five, you think horrible three’s are bad? Nothing on the fifth horror.” She said starting to chop up the food on the cutting board. “Take out couple means most of the food you get is take out and you barley eat a home cooked meal. Which is hard even for me--I think this is my first home-cooked meal in a long time.” She added dropping the food into the bowl. 

Those people most likely had wedding planners. 

Alena laughed at Meredith then shook her head. “No one told me you guys didn’t cook, but they did tell me I might as well make you guys a big dinner because you’re the ‘take-out’ couple.” She said smiling, starting to wash off the food. “I don’t mind cooking, I’ve done it for as long as I can remember, I used to do thanksgiving dinners for my siblings until I moved out. It distracted them from our parents not being home.” She admitted. When Olivia came running into the kitchen, Alena instantly smiled giving her, her full attention. “Of course you heard ice cream brownies! I’m gonna make them for after dinner tonight! You can even help, if your mom says it’s okay, of course.” She said looking up at Meredith along with Olivia. 

Let’s go get coffee...and before you say no, I’m not leaving you alone like this
