I gotta redo this one on like a purse or something. At least a different aida. I used an oatmeal linen-y one and it has all these lil hair-like things all over so my projects on it all look fuzzy 😵‍💫

Now that I'm all done (for now) with Agatha All Along, I can focus alllll of my attention on Wicked and the overwhelming urge I have to create more and more patterns dedicated to the obsession that has consumed me since I first saw the musical in NYC when I was 17 years old. 16 years later (you do the math) that obsessive love has not chilled out 😋 I am still a teenage theatre kid, even at my big, grown age, and I don't think that is ever gonna change. So keep an eye out for more Wicked patterns including a ✨Galinda-fied✨one and something a bit more wlw yearning cause I can't help myself 😅

The only question now is, what other musicals do I make patterns for? 🤔

The 6th and final pattern in my Agatha All Along series. I saved Rio for last and then the idea for their pattern ended up jumping the shark and coming to me before I’d even tested Wiccan’s design 😅 So for the vibe, I wanted like a combination 1990s and 1970s vibe, sort of dark whimsigoth meets summer camp, while also “hiding” a lesbian pride flag in the colors cause I am a slave to that wlw and a hell of a yearner like my gal Rio 😘💅 Te veo, mama!

This pattern actually started with the door. I had hit some creative blocks and decided to rewatch the series. Immediately I wanted to stitch the door to the witches road. From there came Wiccan’s headdress, his red cape and then his angular hands; from which the blue trees/bushes blossomed around the door, beckoning all those who seek the road!

This pattern comes with a PDF of separate instructions for crosses and backstitching plus a PatternKeeper friendly version as well!
