OBSESSED with the idea of Katara always having had a crush on Aang but never picking up on it because of how small it may have been at the time or because thats just how she is with Aang it doesnt have to mean anything. She's always trying to know how he'll react to whatever she changes about herself? Thats just her being a girl. She gets mad when he (seemingly) doesnt wanna kiss her in a cave? That surely doesnt mean anything. That warm feeling whenever he compliments her and the urge to always kiss him on the cheek? She just loves him (as a friend) a lot. I can totally imagine her waking up in the middle of the night and it dawning on her that maybe, just maybe, she has a thing for him.

Hate kataang all you want but what I won't let you do is downplay how much aang must have meant to katara when they met. That is essentially one of if not the first boy she meets in her age range other than her brother and he immediately brings fun back into her life, supports her ambitions (learning waterbending) and is willing to take her across the globe to learn it. She literally says her and her brother are his family now mere DAYS after meeting him and constantly stands up for him if need be. He means so much to her and their relationship is so much deeper than their romantic pairing but screw me ig.

Kataang and Percabeth are the same ship for a plethora of reasons but what I want to discuss today is the pda. From percy making out with annabeth INFRONT of piper to aang and katara making out infront of the whole city BAHAHAHAH. I love these moments because I ship them but trust if I was their friends id blow my shi smooth off

"Aang used katara as an incubator" what are you talking about? Katara walked into my room yesterday and told me she jumped with joy everytime aang said the word 'kids'

No kataang is not 'in your face' in the new movie. Youre just mad you cant dismiss katara's interactions with him as 'motherly' anymore because it is objectively romantic.
