kaz i am thinking an annoying sparkly gif maybe with music lyrics or otherwise about music somehow. alternatively just a pic of his cat at the time lol. i don't think he ever got into typing in any kind of extravagant way, his away messages would def just be music lyrics. i think he would sometimes put kind of obscure shit there in the hopes that someone would ask about it and he could show off how deep his music taste was. if he was using 'em when he was dating he would def be one of the kids putting his gf's initials in there lol. in reality unfortunately he didn't use shit like this very often bc he didn't have a computer in the house until he was like 15, he mostly used myspace at the library or on the school computers lol

like yeah i have encountered people online who think their ocs who exist in a contextless bubble deserve the same reverence as fully realized characters, and that mentality is annoying, but i don't actually think the end goal of all art is to became a webcomic, i think it's a perfectly fine if people want to flex their creative muscle by creating funky character designs with wacky backstories just for the joy of creation itself, like you don't have to be personally invested in it, but it's a bizarre way to moralize art especially coming from a group of people who otherwise seem to be against that?

#idk why everything has to be a “full story”#imo this is kind of MORE fandom brained bc they have decided that the point of making smth #is to make smth that they think deserves a fandom #and also equating “creative fulfillment” with having fans #the fandom obsession is coming from inside the house #what is wrong with making scribbles and outlines and sharing them. that IS creatively fulfilling lol #i'm sure someone out there is annoying and entitled about it but they are probably also like 15 #i always wonder where ppl who make stuff the way i do fall on these ppl's scale of real artists lol
