see getting top surgery was like. a no brainer, basically. there is so very little to think about. there's some kind of specifics to consider, but ultimately: the chest is flat, that shit is gone. the things that could have gone wrong for me were entirely aesthetic, and i had literally one choice in how to go about it so. press the button, easy. bottom surgery is so so soooooo fucking complicated. addition is so much more complicated than subtraction here. and there are so many configurations that are mutually exclusive, and figuring out what matters and what doesn't is very hard when you can't like... you can't try it out. so it makes sense to some extent that i am puzzling over it, now that i'm like....... 90% sure i want phallo. <- i need you to understand how crazy that was to type out for me. i guess there's two things about it that are making me ruminate: wanting it in the first place after quite some time of being like "nahh it's fine" or "maybe meta would be enough", and then the complexity of the thing itself
