And what a story it was....
I'll be hiding all the posts that I've made here for now. I won't be making anymore posts here either. If you ever do get curious enough to look this up, and if you want to, reach out to me. I'd love to catch up. See how your doing. That's it. No funny stuff. Just a friendly chat. If you ever need someone to talk to. I'm here.
I wish we could've met when we were younger. And most definitely under different circumstances. Maybe things could've been different between us. I don't know?? I do know that my current situation, both my personal life and my current difficulty in my professional life forcing us to be LDR, has had a huge impact on our relationship.
I wish things could be different. But they're not. And I'm at a loss.
As much as I miss you, as much as I want you, I just don't know how to make it work. We both tried. I just don't know. I do know that I want to live out my days with you by my side. I just don't know how to make it happen.
As of this writing, on my birthday, I'm still in the Middle East. I currently have no clear plan of what I'm going to do. I have a few irons in the fire, but nothing solid yet. I know what I want to do, but I don't think you'd welcome me after what happened.
Maybe I'll see you at 70!? I hope to see you at some point way sooner than that and have a coffee or boba and maybe a good chat over tres leches. But not at 70.
Still in the Middle East. Estimated to leave before the 18th of November. Just a waiting game at this point. I haven't worked since Monday. But they're paying me to sit at the apartment, so its good. Gives me time to do interviews and apply. I'm hoping to have something lined up when they hand me my plane ticket here.
I've been applying to everything I can in your area. I have spent so many days at my laptop applying to everything I can. There's a huge amount of hiring going on in my field in your area. I have been getting a tremendous amount of responses. I feel something is going to come through soon. I had to turn down an interview with a company I really wanted to work with. Several reasons why, but ultimately, I feel it's because I wasn't supposed to go there. It was in the Midwest.
