It felt like it's been weeks since Aurora had slept. It had definitely been a year since she had a decent night sleep, but anything was better than the episodes she'd had recently. It was like narcolepsy on steroids, and Aurora's current condition was weighing on her. "I'm sorry," she stifled a yawn. "I promise I'm listening. Go on."
Tiana frowned softly at the blonde in the booth below her and rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly. She looked like she was going through it, and Tiana could understand the feeling. She rarely had any time off from working herself to the bone all day and night. "We're closin' up here in a few minutes, sugar. I've gotta close out your tab."
