God, Deku was getting pretty fucking defiant these days. Katsuki much preferred the days where he cowered at his feet and wasn’t so goddamn mouthy all the time, but he was done with making Deku’s life miserable as a hobby. That was just fucking pathetic.

“Fucking hell, Deku, leave me alone,” Katsuki answered, hands in his pockets and refusing to look at the other. “I just wanted to get out for five minutes, is that a fucking crime? I’ll go back in a while.” UA cooping him up in the dorms was more or less killing him. Sure, it was keeping them safe, yadda, yadda, like hell it was. UA’s security borders had been broken more than once while they were there and they were going to keep being broken, as All Might was there. Going outside was a stupid decision, Katsuki knew, but he missed the mountains. He missed being fucking truly and genuinely alone. He missed his fucking freedom.

And with Deku there, there was no way he was going to accomplish any of that. Not that he was going to let him know. Out of sheer stubbornness, Katsuki keeps going, albeit a little slower. He’s not much fond of the dark either anymore.
