Just a slightly less confused girl in this still messed up world

Not really sure how I have ended up back on here really, other than that it’s 1am, I can’t sleep and no is awake to entertain me. 

Reading the last posts I had on here was a blast from the past. So the last time I posted something on here was 14 months ago. Who knew so much could change in a year. Back then I was dating a guy, a guy who I knew was bad for me, a guy who I knew I was only with because it was long distance and quitting after only a few weeks seemed like a cop out.  Mentally, things weren’t exactly ideal, he made me feel bad for not working out or for treating myself even when he wasn’t there to see it, he made me feel worthless and put me back in 14 year old me’s boots (they were worn out, trodden on, beaten up and bullied boots).

Anyway, fast forward a year. I ditched him. things were looking up. I became friends with this girl, this gay girl. we talked all night and texted all day, we met up and I immediately was confused, I mean in my head it was just friends chatting, but then we met up and I was like “OOH SHIT!” I like her, like I like like her. WHY? NO? I’M NOT! AM I? ..... Turns out I am. 

After a lot of internal arguments I came to terms with who I was, well to be honest, I’m still working on it, but I’m getting there and finally beginning to love who I am (that’s a first for me!)

Anyway, long story short, I came out to my family and friends and overall I am the happiest I’ve ever been and I think I may have finally found the one for me.... and it’s a girl! (Who knew? I mean, I didn’t till a year ago..)
