âTheyâre actually not the worst. I think you should let us put some on you. Maybe before your next show? Do some edgy make up, ooo⌠glitters. I think it could be a hit, and youâll have your favorite humans to help you. Youâre welcome in advanced.â Trix added with a bright grin. Biting their lip they just gave a sharp nod. They had hoped Thumper knew if he needed to talk they were all ears. Nodding a little as they took the pen they scribbled out a line and made a small face. âmmm.. yeah, I guess that makes it easier when you pull your head out of how it should be. Kinda like a puzzle, huh?âÂ
âYeah, maybe not before a show. We can do a trial run first. I donât want to be bothered by them if Iâm not used to them, ya know?â He laughed a bit. âMy favorite humans? Youâre funny.â He shook his head but smiled nonetheless. âIt makes perfect sense! But, yes, exactly! Just like a puzzle! Sometimes you have to separate the pieces and work around it before starting the middle.â

Trixâs couldnât help but roll their eyes at him. âOnly when I feel the need to play doll for Ria.Theyâre kinda nice sometimes.â Teasing she stuck her toung out at him. Biting into their cheek she listened to the words and stored them. Nodding softly to everything. âWell⌠given some of your songs.. and knowledge over here on your life. I wish you had better inspiration.â Wiggling their nose a bit at the thought of it all. âItâs real though, and so relatable. I mean I think nearly everyone has felt some heartache here and there. Shaking their head they let out a sigh. âNot really.. I mean a few things could possibly be something, but only for a verse or two and then itâs blank.âÂ
âI could never. They seem like they would hurt. But then again, what do I know?â He laughed a bit. âWeâre...not going to talk about that right now,â was all he said before dismissing the topic. It was a very sensitive subject to him. Talking about Mina was hard enough, but pouring out his heart and soul about the songs he wrote about her? No, thank you. âWell, you have to think of something!â He pulls his chair up to their table and hands them the pen back. âYou donât have to go in order. Write the bridge or chorus first, sometimes that helps me. Then revisit the verses.â
Of course Mina was going to Eco Club, despite the fact that she knew running into Thumper was more than likely. She wasnât going to just be rude or unkind to him and she wasnât trying to avoid him either. She was trying to live her life and let him live his and if they were meant to meet up, they would meet up. In fact, she was so good with it that she made the first move by tapping him on his shoulder after the meeting was over. It was always so cute how flustered he got around her, and she almost wanted to let out a little laugh, but she refrained. âHi Elliot,â she said when he was finished speaking. âIâm doing pretty good. Busy and booked, like always.â She ran a hand through her hair. âHow about you? Youâre looking good.â
Every time he saw Mina there were butterflies fluttering in his stomach. He still loved her so damn much and apart of him always would, even if they never ended up back together. Thumper was trying though. He really wanted to grow up and do what he needed to do to win her back, but that meant working on himself and that wasnât always so easy. He scrunched his nose up when she called him âElliot.â She was one of few people who called him that. It was a name usually only used by people who didnât really know him and his parents. He much preferred Thumper. âOh, yeah. I bet.â He nods a little bit. âMe? Oh, you know, the usual. Doing fine. Working on school and stuff.â He bit on the inside of his cheek. âYou look good too. You always do.â
Trix knew that if they sat at the same table as their bother she wouldnât ben able to focus on the beat and lyrics that were slapping them in the face. Tapping the pencil against the table as the road block made it all come to a stop. Sighing as she watched her brothers chair come back the pen that was once in their hand met Thumpers. âTake it. If I have to look at this page for five more seconds.. Iâm ripping my eye lashes out.â Grumbling their cheeks met her palm. âHow do you do it? Just pour out song after song?âÂ
âArenât your eyelashes fake anyways?â he asked with a smirk. âOh, wait. Thatâs usually Ria. I think.â He shrugged and took the pen from her. âI donât know. You have to have inspiration from something. You can write a song about anything though, really. Like, think of childrenâs songs. Those are usually about the silliest things. Like a farm or a dog.â He scrunched his nose up. Most of the time he hated that most of his inspiration was from heartbreak. Still, he had plenty of happiness in him to write pleasant songs too. âWhy the writerâs block though? Nothing to write about? Make up a story in your head and write a song based on that.â
There was a meeting for the Eco Club and Thumper felt obligated to go. It wasnât that he didnât like going, because he did, but he knew Mina would be there and he was just nervous. During the whole meeting he was bouncing in his seat and doing his best to avoid looking at her and after it was done he wanted to bolt out the door. But, there were snacks. How could he say no to snacks? He was munching on a vegan brownie when he felt someone tap his shoulder. He froze up, having a gut feeling it was going to be her, then turned around. Smiling with a mouth full of brownie he waved. After swallowing he spoke. âOh, uh, hey Mina. Great meeting tonight.â He bit on the inside of his cheek. God, he hated this. Feeling so awkward around her and unsure of what to say or do. âUm, how are you doing?â

âWell, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say you should share it.â Cami nodded softly. âWell, inspiration kinda comes and goes, but maybe you just need to do something out of your normal and itâll just come to you! Or I think.. I donât do music to know.â She admitted with a small laugh. âYouâre welcome Mister Elliot.â Laughing a bit she hummed softly. It was rather nice to just have a moment to laugh and enjoy company. âDoes being friends with the star earn me the rights to the best seats in house? Thatâs the only way Iâll be there.â She teased with a soft scrunch of her nose.Â
âWell, when I finally finish this song youâll be the first I show it to. Howâs that sound?â He had no issue with sharing his music with friends, but was hesitant when it came to certain people. He trusted Cami though and was happy to share his work with her. âYeah, I suppose youâre right. Iâll figure out something.â He smiles at her. âOf course it does! All my best friends and family will get front row seats and back stage passes.â He grinned. If he ever made it that far, but he had high hopes.
Jane listened to him but kept their eyes on the inside of their bag while they sifted. The amount of pointless garbage in here was absurd. She needed to get better about just throwing things in her bag. âI understand that too. I try to have a few pens in every bag I have. Thereâs been just one too many times when I need one and donât have one so I try to be prepared.â Thatâs when she found on laying between a few old receipts. âA pencil just doesnât feel the same, or so I think. Pens are just the right feel.â They shrugged before holding out the item to him. âMind me asking what youâre working on that youâre running through all your ink?â
~
âYeah, Iâm just a very disorganized person. My brain moves too fast most days so Iâm very forgetful.â When they hand him the pen Thumper smiles and takes it. âThanks a bunch!â He thought that was going to be the end of their conversation and he could get back to writing but he was mistaken. Not a bad thing though! âOh, pens are definitely the right feel. They glide easier and I prefer scribbling things out when I make mistakes versus erasing things. Itâs much more satisfactory.â Thumper glances over at his song lyrics then back to the other person. âWell, first I had class today so I was writing notes for that. Though I didnât write many and ended up scribbling song lyrics around the page. Which brings us to this! My notebook full of songs. I am a musician first, human second and I write songs pretty much every day. Or work on parts or rewrite parts of old ones. Theyâre always a work in progress.â
Cami couldnât help but grin a little as he spoke. Letting out a breath she was holding in she playfully did a little bow. âThe one and only! Iâm⌠alright.â Last thing she wanted was to hint to how awful she was, when Thumper would just be thrown in the middle of it all. So she put on a smile and made herself comfortable in the seat across from him. âI didnât think you could. The music bug has to shared when it can.â A soft laugh left her as she sat her chin in her hands and listened to the humming. Small heart strings being tugged as she could really only imagine Noahâs soft hums. Opening her eyes she grinned and nodded her head. âI think itâs beautiful! And I will be remembering that for when I can hear it live with lyrics.âÂ
~
âYou are definitely right! Iâve always got the music bug and I definitely need to share more often. There are days I lack inspiration though, I will admit. But those arenât too common.â Thumper smiles bright at Cami. He knows thereâs probably a love-hate relationship with her and music right now considering everything that went down with Noah. He was curious about what had happened but was hesitant to ask. âThank you, Miss Cami.â He does a little bow in his seat. âI hope you are able to hear it live one day!â
Mocha probably spent more time in her parentsâ coffee house than anywhere else; she practically lived her. If she wasnât performing her poetry, she was still hanging around to enjoy her favorite coffee in town and write more. Bean Scene was a perfect place for artistic inspiration, the soothing jazzy music setting just the right mood. As somebody at the next table over called her attention and asked for a pen, she produced a spare and reached out to hand it to him, eyes lighting up as she glimpsed the format of the words in his notebook, even if she didnât make out what the said. All she needed to notice was that he clearly wasnât taking notes; this was clearly the creative process. âIâm sorryâI didnât mean to spy on your unfinished works, but you wouldnât happen to be a poet, by any chance?â
~
Thumper really liked Bean Scene. There were plenty of other cafes and coffee shops in Walt Grove but none compared to the relaxed mood at his particular one. The music was soothing and the clientele were creators just like himself. As the girl handed him a pen he smiled and said, âthank you.â Her question caught him a little off guard but he didnât hide his notebook from her and shook his head. âNot a poet, no. A musician though. I was working on a song Iâve been trying to write. My brain is all over the place though and Iâm just trying to focus. I respect the creative process of a poet though. To write something so beautiful without a melody is talent. Are you a poet yourself?â
Jane had her coffee and a new book sheâd found that morning which made her perfectly content. It was a great way to start her day off. She was enjoying it so far, scribbling notes in her reading journal as she did. They enjoyed reading but had a tendency to always get more distracted by their own inspiration and journaling about it more. They were deep into a rant when their attention was brought elsewhere at the sound of someones voice. âHmâŚâ They lifted their head, their pen slowing to a stop. âOh, yes.â She started to rummage through her bag. âSorry, I kind of just throw them in here and they always sink to the bottom.â
~
Thumper wasnât a very patient person, but he wasnât rude when he was impatient. Most of the time at least. He wasnât frustrated or anything at the moment though. âThank you so much!â he said with a friendly smile. âOh, thatâs me all the time. Except...whenever I rummage through and take a pen out I usually end up misplacing it or leave it behind. So, my inventory ran low today.â His smile turns into a sheepish one. âMy bag doesnât even have a dull pencil in it otherwise I would have resorted to using that.â

Coffee was calling. The girl had spent way too many hours trying to find cute new editing options for a few videos she had wanted to post to her streams. After the break up with Noah, she noticed the fall in followers that had been just as taken away with the love as she had. Though, she knew if she hid away with no one content they would all just vanish. Upon entering the Bean Scene she tensed up a little. Not in the worst way possible, but she knew Thumper had an admiration for her musician, Noah. Maybe if she kept her eyes down he wouldnât say anything to her? Truly she couldnât imagine him yelling at her given the conversations sheâd had with him in the past. At his voice though she scrunched up her nose and turned towards him. âI mightâŚ. only if you hum the melody to your little master piece there.â She offered as a trade with a smile. Sure she wanted to hear the lyrics, but those tended to be a little more personal.Â
Upon realizing it was Cami that Thumper had asked for a pen a bright grin came across his face. âWell, well, well, look who it is. Miss Cami! How do you do?â he asked. A soft laugh emitted from his lips. âI canât say no to that.â He used the empty pen to tap against the table to start a small beat and began to hum a small tune to the song he was writing. It was a softer tune but a beautiful one nonetheless. He only hummed a small part of the song as he was still working out the details of the notes and tune of the song. âHow was that?â he asked after he stopped humming. âItâs a work in progress still, but I think itâs coming along nicely. What do you think?â
It was one of the not so rare days that Thumper had forgotten to take his medicine. His ADHD could be off the wall on a good day and today was just worse. He was sitting in class, tapping his pen against the desk rapidly, not even making a small beat like he does at times. He kept looking at the clock, the ticking noise driving him nearly insane. He just couldnât wait to be out of class. Music theory was fine and all but he didnât do well in a classroom setting. Twelve minutes, he told himself. Thatâs all he had left. And the second that clock struck on the hour he bolted out of his seat and was out the door. The air was cool and crisp but it was a relatively nice day overall. He had one class later in the day but was heavily debating skipping. Maybe if he had remembered his meds it would be different. Of course it had been an early morning for Bambi and his best friend hadnât been there to remind him to take his pills.Â
After class he found himself at Bean Scene. The club was relaxed and played soft music. Not the type Thumper usually listened to, but it was still calming and he really needed calm that day. He had decided to say fuck homework and took out his notebook with all his song lyrics in it. There were many pages with scratched out lyrics and others with emotional words written in a perfect melody. He was working on a new song but was struggling to focus. He should really start carrying an extra dose of medicine around for days that he forgot, he thought to himself. He had a cup of coffee but had decided it was best if he went the decaf route. He also had a chocolate croissant as a little treat for himself. As he scribbled down messy lyrics in his notebook his pen began to run dry. He dug through his bag, hoping to find another but to no avail he had no others. Groaning he leaned back in his chair when he noticed the person at the next table was also writing. âExcuse me,â he said, âyou wouldnât happen to have another pen, would you? Mine just ran out.â
Growing up in a household with four identical quadruplet sisters had itâs ups and downs. Thankfully, Elliot-- better known as Thumper, could handle most anything thrown his way. He loves his sisters a lot and was always helping with them growing up. (Despite Daisy being the mature one of the five.) He would do anything for any of them and though they can drive him insane he would honestly never trade his family for anything. Not even the fame and fortune that would come along with being a musician.
When he was really young he would get his sisters mixed up, and he still thinks to this day they would purposely tell him they were a different sister on purpose. But, as they began to grow into their own people he could easily tell them apart. The different styles and interests definitely helped with that.
Heâs not closer with one sister or another. He has his moments with them all. He could never pick a favorite.
With that being said about his sisters, he is so thankful to have a best friend in Bambi. The two could not have been any better of friends after meeting as children. They just clicked right away. Bambi kept Thumper grounded a lot. With his ADHD being so off the wall most days he needed someone a lot calmer than him to keep him sane.
With Bambi came Faline and their Eco Club. Thumper was more than happy to help with it too! He really adores Faline and sees the way she makes Bambi get all flustered at times. He thinks itâs cute and just knows they are meant to be together.
Then there was Mina. The love of his life and the subject of many of his songs. She was his muse and when she broke things off he was devastated. For a bit he felt lost, unsure of what to do now that she wasnât really around as much, but he got out of his slump and began writing more songs. They were fueled by emotion and heartbreak and honestly he considers them some of his best songs heâs written.
He has written songs for pretty much everyone he cares about. He doesnât always share them because sometimes they can be so personal, but his sisters all have their own song, Bambi, Faline, and of course Mina. Mina probably has the most written about her considering how hard he took their breakup.
He has a love-hate relationship with his ADHD meds. On one hand he focuses a lot better on writing his songs when he takes it, but other times feels like his songs would be a lot more genuine and raw if he didnât. He doesnât skip them on purpose, but is forgetful when it comes to taking them.
The first time he picked up a guitar was life changing. He was pretty natural at it, catching on really quick, and when he began taking lessons he pretty much excelled. There is always room for improvement though!
College is stupid and boring and he really hates it. Itâs not giving him anything he really needs and it just costs money. He has a hard time focusing in class even with his meds and just learns better by doing things than reading textbooks. He knows if/when he drops out itâs going to cause a huge feud with his parents.
Despite hating college he does love the scene. He gets to live with his best friend and has really taken time to grow as a person. There was a lot he did. He joined a music club, went to parties, and even hooked up with a few people aside from Mina. He felt like he was betraying her when he did, but she was the one who ended things so why should he feel guilty?
When he was in high school he loved the attention he got for his ârock starâ reputation. He wishes he still had that in college, but there are so many more people there and most people donât notice as much.
Really wants to get a band together but doesnât really trust people with his songs. What if they steal them and upload them online as their own?
He does upload his music online though despite the fear of it being stolen, but if he posted it first then itâs already a done deal that itâs his.
Thumper just really misses Mina on his worst days. Some days he feels so down thinking about her and thinks about all the little things he could have done differently to make her proud. Sometimes he just feels like he failed her as a boyfriend.
Has recently began exploring his sexuality and identity. Isnât really sure what to label himself as but as of now heâs been with one other guy and is definitely open to the idea of trying more with others.
That being said, the only serious relationship he ever had was with Mina. Part of him thinks it might be a good idea to branch out more and try and see other people other than just to hook up, but he gets so hung up over her that every time he tries he just blows it because he looks for her in everyone else.
Absolutely loves visiting home on the weekends. He gets to see his sisters and catch up with them. Sometimes for old times sake he will even do their hair, makeup, and nails. He actually quite enjoys those things and sometimes experiments makeup looks on himself that he thinks they would like. Itâs never really anything drastic. He doesnât want to be seen as the rock star in full dark makeup, but enjoys the subtle, soft looks.
Really tries his best for the environment. Recycles, reuses things, and tries to eat as little meat as possible. Itâs pretty easy for him as heâs not the biggest fan of the taste but doesnât really consider himself a vegetarian or anything.
When Bambi lost his mom Thumper cried a lot. He just felt so sad for his friend and really admired the woman. She was so gentle and kind and he felt like Bambi and his mom deserved better.
Though he isnât a fan of college he does appreciate the things he has learned about music. The history and the experimenting with different instruments. Heâs even learned how to play piano!
Is really just vibing right now and trying to make a name for himself, one small bar show at a time. He really likes the little one man shows that some of the local bars let him put on downtown. It might not pay the best, but people seem to really like his music. Heâs only ever been booed off stage once, but the Snuggly Duckling just wasnât his crowd apparently.
When heâs not at school or making music he enjoys watching shows and dabbling in the film part of music. He likes making music videos and he may not be the best with a camera, but he likes to help other local musicians make music videos!
His style is definitely that of a rock star. Boots and leather jackets are a must. He does throw color into his wardrobe though!
Has such bad wanderlust. There are so many places he wants to see and travel to. His first stop would be California. Not only for the music, but he wants to see the place where so many musical legends got their start. He also wants to see a lot of Europe and play at all of the biggest music venues around the world. Other than that he would say seeing all seven wonders of the world are on his bucket list.
â If you canât say something nice, donât say nothing at all. â
đšBiography:
Elliot has always gone by Thumper since he was a kid and his best friend Bambi gave him the nickname. He was an energetic kid, bouncing over the walls but he was a good kid at heart. He wanted to see the best for people and was the older brother of four sisters so he was always busy around the house and trying to make sure his sisters were always doing good. They were quadruplets so there was a lot of drama all the time and he tried to stay out of it even though that just wasnât an option some of the times. He learned how to braid hair, do makeup, and paint nails just to keep his sisters happy and honestly he loves that about himself. He sometimes wears makeup or does his nails for the fun of it and he doesnât care what anyone has to say about that. Bambi supported him and that was all he ever cared about anyways. The two were thick as thieves and nothing could ever change that. They were practically brothers.
In high school Thumper was still all over the place, but had been diagnosed with ADHD and was medicated on it for the most part. He often forgot to take his medication, but Bambi or his sisters always reminded him when they could. He got into music a lot and tried to learn as many instruments as he could for his one-man band. He played loud and real and his parents hated it but his sisters were pretty supportive. In school he was known as the rockstar and he loved that reputation because it got him in good with girls. But his real circle remained small. With Bambi came Faline, who was another childhood friend that he liked a lot. She was sweet and her and Bambi were cute together but too shy to really do anything about it. The trio was a happy trio and then Mina Bunne entered his life. She was beautiful and thought he was funny and she was straight to the point about her crush on him. That began a whirlwind romance that was truly fit for a rockstar. Passionate was the only word for it and they were on and off until college. Right before college came around the corner she broke up with him and told him he needed to grow up a little. He had been living his best life but could be immature with a lot of things. He took it hard and the two havenât been speaking much since. He still sees her all the time and that just inspires more heartbraking songs.Â
Now that he is on college he is studying music. He likes it a lot and he is learning so much. He is trying to behave as best as he can and not bounce off the walls every second, but it is a work in progress. He hangs with Bambi and Faline all the time still and tries to help out with Eco club as much as possible, but he wants to branch out more too. He wants to drop out of college, start a band, and travel the world as the best rockstar he can be but he doesnât know if he can handle it alone. He also doesnât have a band which is stressful in its own way. Heâs trying people out and seeing if the music can work together but he just doesnât know. He has never been good with this kind of stuff and wishes Mina was around to help him organize himself, but he knows that is why she isnât with him anymore. So he is doing it alone, trying to mature or whatever it was in his own way. His sisters have been a big help and he is grateful for them because without his weekend visits to his home he would be a complete mess.Â
đšOpinions on Magic:
Would be awesome if he had it.
đšConnections:
Noah Nibs: He digs the guys sound and the two often meet up to hang out and play music together. He would call him one of his best friends outside of Bambi.
Cami Candle: Sheâs sweet and he often goes to her for advice on Mina. He doesnât like her friend Randy, but she is nothing like him which is good.
Dani Dennison: Sheâs really cool and one of the only girls heâs really liked since Mina. He doesnât know if she feels the same way or if he could ever really do that to Mina, but he likes being around her and her smile.
