What I never understood is why people try again in a relationship that’s toxic. It’s not working between you two cause it’s not meant to be. It’s like taking the wrong puzzle piece and trying to fit it in any spot. It won’t fit but you just keep trying to slam it in until the edges start messing up. In other terms, start losing parts of yourself. Until you fit slightly. Pieces of the piece hanging outside of the hole. That’s the bits of you, that don’t fit them.But why waste years trying to be their person instead of finding yours. Just wondering 🤔

Investing in yourself is more than spending money on your craft. It’s showing up for yourself everyday. It’s doing what’s necessary to make sure you stay clear headed to make life’s tough decisions efficiently. Whether it’s meditation, therapy, journaling, yoga or just a quiet evening with a good self help book. Taking the time everyday to invest in your mental is the best investment.

You’re not going to find peace in the same place you find destruction. You look for peace from people who cause you pain. They don’t know peace themselves, so how are they going to help you?
