Chelley Fic Recommendations
BOY DO I.
Plenty of great work by both pals and people whom I do not know all that well.
I will start with
Fics without sex in them:
Youāve probably already readĀ Blue SkyĀ and if you havenāt, you should! ItĀ isĀ quite franky, very good. Excellent Wheatley voice and characterization. And it has a nicely knotted ending. [Finished] Itās quite long but quite engaging.
Sing Nightingale, Wheatley thanks Chell for saving him by helping her regain her voice through musical therapy. Very fluffy and shippy. If you like gentle, soul-stroking reading, look no further. [Unfinished.]
MomoĀ has a whole assortment of cute fics which I am ashamed to admit I have not all read. But if you want soft cute things then I recommend theāInnocentāĀ fics. Altho I canāt guarantee that thereās not sex in all of them theyāre usually pretty tame about representing it.
Moving on to:
NSFW fics (Fics yes, with sexytimes in them.):
AmphigoryĀ is an excellent Portal AU fic set in a Boston office version of Aperture, focuses largely on a relationship between Chell and Wheatley. Thereās sex, drugs, blackmail, but itās balanced with a really good amount of heartwarming things.Ā If youāre into story intertwined with harsher subject matter this is for you.Ā [Unfinished so far.]
The Punishment, is a post-Portal 2 scenario where GLaDoS traps Chell and Wheatley in Aperture after she reclaims it. Sheās punished Wheatley by stuffing him into a human body. The plot in this also unravels very interestingly. A fandom classic which should not be forgotten. :> Played a major role in bringing the Chelley community together. Fair amount of masturbation depiction and two sexual encounters. [Also unfinished.]
Day by DayĀ is a dark take on post-Portal 2 Chelley. Wheatley comes back to earth and an extreme douchebag. To Chellās luck however, he is a formidable sexual partner. [Unfinished.]Ā Remember,Ā Lacey changed her url. So while youāre clicking the different parts you have to change the āchantilly-laceyā in the url to āchantillyxlaceyā.
Lace relatively tame fic where Chell finds an abandoned Lingerie store and decides to bring home a surprise for Wheatley. Itās part of the Innocent-verse. I thought Iād list it separately becauseĀ Iāve done fan art for itĀ because itās a cute concept and I really like it.
TRIGGER WARNING, Getting into much infinitely darker territory, Spotlight is a oneshot about Wheatley raping Chell while hooked up to the Chasis. Vile subject matter, very aggressive, very psychologically shocking, but written extremely effectively. Actually one of my favorite things Iāve read maybe. (Which speaks volumes about how fucked in the brain I am but oh well.) If you have a weak stomach for that sort of thing you probably want to stay away from it.
