AD Thrift Rescue

1977 craft book "Paper Movie Machines" seen at thrift. "ZOETROPE"s to cut out and make yourself. Though THANKFULLY no one has cut this 48+ year old book up. yet.

This giant combined VOLTRON LEGENDARY DEFENDER set was $4 at thrift but I left it behind. Too big, and no yellow lion. LUCKILY after I put it down this millennial picked it up and stuck it in his cart. I wished him the best and told him I was glad he's going to a good home.

(it's a joke.. obviously if they're paying for brand name colors they can afford it)

i've got a weakness for tiny anthropomorphic flocked animal toys. Calico Critters and such. This one is from "Honey Bee" a little cow that SO cute.

GOOFY Playstation Mug at thrift. Almost picked it up but dang that CONTROLLER handle is too massive!

Transformers Animated (2007) Optimus Prime "Role Play" wearable blaster arm at thrift. i DO collect animated but this is too big for my collection.

saw this GEARS set at thrift. underneath it looks just like the Discovery Toys Safari gears building sets from the 1980s - BUT with a... TRUCK SHELL?? I've never seen a set like this. Love the concept but I'm not sure where they were headed. is this also by Discovery Toys?

SCARDEY BEAR Sweet Pickles book. This is the "B" book; They have an animal and a book for each letter in the alphabet. Each character is a certain emotion - the stories ATTEMPT to discuss that emotion but... don't really achieve it all that well. more often than not they character is simply shown experiencing the emotion... and then the book ends. ANYWAY I still want all 26.
