coco is by far the one with the softer face and rounder shapes. squishy cheeks, crinkles under their eyes, button nose, and warm tones all around. they're meant to exude warmth and openness. this is definitely beneficial for them as an ambassador and someone who works with people. however, it also means they aren't a particularly imposing figure. while they don't wish to be, they do sometimes envy the immediate respect a figure such as that seems to earn. even so, coco is nothing if not adaptable; they work around this issue with expert diplomacy and being exceptionally well-received by the general public.
hibi is pretty and that's all they have going for them lmao. in all seriousness, their face is far more stylized than the other two's, and with very good reason. being pretty is severely important for their character; it emphasizes their dependence on physical appearance in neglect of deeper emotional insight. even so, their design is full of edges: in their slanted, upturned eyes, their straight nose, the high cheekbones and sharp jawline -- it's meant to give away several red flags just by looking at them. as for the color of their eyes, it's a dark brown with a reddish tint. they sometimes flash a startling crimson when hibi is caught up in a high-adrenaline situation.
lemon looks pretty, and sometimes it's the only thing covering up their empty-eyed demeanor. they may look hollow at times, but surely it can't be anything bad, right? lemon is aware of this, even though they feel like they're wearing a cardboard mask in most social interactions. their design is intentionally relying on softer curves and paler colors, giving them a gentler appearance that contrasts sharply with their flat demeanor and sinister background. their eyes are hazel, but the greens and browns are muted and dull -- a window to the soul indeed.
