New York and Penn enter Vermont's room and just find him laying shirtless next to a life sized/Alaska sized bottle of fucking maple syrup that's taking 90% of the bed. He's just like caressing it with his finger and giving it 'fuck me' eyes like what??? And then they all just kinda stare at each other for like a hot minute before any further questions are asked.

Texas is sitting bored out of his mind during a meeting w a bunch of his politicians and he makes the GRAVE mistake of glancing towards the window. And in his reflection (that only TX and other personifications can see) is Austin fucking gangam style dancing in the glass with a shit eating grin on his face.

He's trying to make Texas laugh and get him in trouble, and it's almost working. Tex is mad red in the face and is doing everything in his power to not laugh, but it just keeps getting funnier to him.

Louisiana only ever consistently calls two people “sha” in the series. Key Word, consistently. He has called Gov, California, etc. “sha” when they’re super stressed or something, but there are only two states he ever consistently calls “sha” and seldom- if ever -calls them by their actual name.

And friendly reminder that in Cajun French “sha” is used to refer to someone who you consider a personally close loved one. So a very close friend, family, lover, etc.

Florida is Truman and Gov is then Cristof who created the show

Instead of a 1950s suburban town it would be more like 80s Miami in style and the show would be called something ridiculous like “The Florida Man Show”

Florida’s legal name is probably Florida Miami

One major difference between Florida and Truman would be that Florida is much less predictable and the appeal of the show is how much trouble he can cause

Honestly, his view of reality is very skewed because every time he’s come across a hint he’s in a set, everyone just acted like that’s normal instead of pretending it didn’t happen

The actors have some serious workers comp benefits because of him btw

Gov lowkey hates Florida and is only keeping this going for the money

Louisiana (Louis) is Marlon and takes the role of Florida’s best friend/childhood neighbor

He keeps up the lie because he genuinely believes that life is better for Florida if he lives in the studio and people in the real world just wouldn’t understand him (he would also probably get arrested ten seconds after leaving)

(But Louis is also kind of brainwashed by being on the show since he was five years old)

California (Cal) is then Lauren Garland/Sylvia (minus the love interest part), but his intentions are much less honest than hers

He pops up during the college years and is secretly an activist working to get Florida out (mainly for the fame of it all) but considers not going through with it when Florida keeps annoying him

Florida is drawn to him because he is the one person who doesn’t think his “pranks” are funny (because all of the actors are forced to pretend) and becomes determined to find out how he ticks

Louis and Cal have many arguments behind Florida’s back about the ethics of the TV show

Louis starts to question if he’s hurting Florida by keeping him in this fake reality while Cal slowly sees Florida as a real person instead of just a “cause” he wants the credit for

Throughout all of this, Gov keeps trying to figure out ways to kill off Cal’s character but Florida and sometimes Louis get in the way

Highlights include:

Cal gets eaten by a shark (animatronic) and Florida tears a hole through it, not realizing that shark anatomy doesn’t include plywood and screws

And

Gov trying to drop a piano on Cal’s head, but Florida hijacked the crane it was on right before the scene and injured a random extra instead by accident

I dreamed that Ben was bringing the series back but instead there was a storyline instead of it being a political commentary on the current events of the U.S.

Florida got his old fit back (like OG fit, first episode top) but his board shorts were flamingo themed like his hat

New York had a a specific variant (I think he's had the most outfit changes), but he had his trench coat, bills jersey, and his red hat

Louisiana had a Tigers jersey and hat, had his beads and tigers shorts and then he had purple flip flops and sandals on. He was Very purple

Texas and California weren't in frame so I can only assume they were making out or something

Gov had his suit n tie, except his tie was both blue and red diagonally striped.
