The Thorn Deveaux home is located in the Lakeside neighborhood, right behind the main winery establishment. Originally built by her great grandparents, the home was originally three bedrooms and was only one floor. The Thorns loved it this way - a quaint home to return to after a long day working at the winery. This was a point of contention for Laurel's mother, Elizabeth Thorn. She hated the small space, finding it crowded. One of her father's plans was to eventually expand on the home, to fulfill his wife's dream. Even going as far as drawing up plans, though they didn't have a chance to come to fruition before she left.

When Eli and Laurel got married, they chose to stay in this home since Laurel was beginning to take more responsibility within the grounds. Over the years, they have expanded and rebuilt parts of their home to accommodate their growing family. It also comes in handy that her husband has a degree in architecture, so this often becomes a summer project for them.

Presently, their place is at 11,000+ sq ft. Each detail has been carefully curated by both of them, making sure that their families will be safe and comfortable. Their place is two stories with hosting eight bedrooms and six bathrooms. Seems excessive, but considering both families often time came together and spent lengthy seasons with them, the place was a perfect size. Warmth is the thought behind every decision they make, with the hope that their home will always be a beloved space to their parents and their children.
