Raining again outside and so a drawing of the work space and living room dining area

Between rain showers Jah Love does a bit of prep work to the Pergola  overlooking the cliff and across the valley.

Back to Jah Loves place and between rain showers I do a bit of drawing in the garden.

Back at Anna’s place and in the morning after a shower of rain the Galah’s are preening themselves on the power lines and a crane flies past

here I headed to Piliga Pottery near Coonabarabran  on the way home from the ridge and stayed in the camp site for the night. Had a lovely meal and used the internet then the next morning drove off and forgot my umbrella at the table from the night before.

Took a drive to the other opal fields about 70 kilometers Westish and saw a baren field with a mirage and a willy-willy and a few blokes at one of the three pubs at the opal fields then back to the Bore Baths

Back at the Bore Baths Lightning Ridge and It is a scorcher so I sit in the shade and draw my camper across the parking lot under the trees.

The Hills hoist has shredded lines hanging down and the bare dirt of the yard is hard to believe but there ya go.

Sit down in my folding arm chair and do a bit of drawing as this house has the most barren back yard I’ve seen in a while. Then along come these birds so I give them some bread. The group of what I think might be Apostle Birds hang in groups of a dozen or so and they were the most outrageous. The magpie stood back cautiously as did the topknot pidgeon and the what looked like some sort of Mina bird. 

Wake up at Lorne Station Caravan Park and do a bit of drawing.

Back at the Bore Baths in Lightning Ridge waiting as evening sets in.

This is what I see when the rain lets up at Belongil.

This drawing is the start of a new drawing book and using water colors that I bought at Aldis and by the look of it I forgot to color the bottom bit. The birds are in the back of my house at Maryborough in Queensland and the bottom are some drawings I did at Belongil in Byron Bay New South Wales.

Now I’m back at Belongil beach and parked down the end in my favorite spot so I can put the side ladder down and not get caught with another car parked to close to get my ladder to swing back up. But it is raining and so I head up the hills to Jah Love’s place at ‘Higher Heights’  And hang out with the rain on and off through out the day

A bit out of sequence as I started to use two drawing books and things got a little out of wack. So here I am at my daughters place and It is raining on and off and in the morning I do a drawing of the wallabies in the yard and my rig in the driveway.

While I am waiting I practice drawing rocks and clouds and trees.
