Hi Rafik, itās a personal brush so you wonāt find it , best advice is to make your own, or keep looking , there are plenty of great brushes around . Also, itās not all about the brush , but also about practice, Photoshop is not magic.

Dear Thomas, I hardly dare to ask but now I try anyway. For a student animation-project we are animating in photoshop. Its jut a small piece, not even a minute, so we have "time" to experiment with the technique. Now I dearly like to try some painting in photoshop and then I remembered your work. I'd like to ask you, how you created that amazing brush that lets your photoshop Paintings look as if they were just drawn with watercolor. Do you have a suggestion for us how to use brushes? Melanie
Dear Melanie,there is no right way to do it. My suggestion is to spend time and experiment with the settings, they're very, very important. Try until you find the effect you're looking for and keep pushing it. As for my brush , I keep changing it. I change the scattering, the dual brush, the transfer settings ( opacity and flow jitter). Also try not to think only about the brush, but when you're painting digitally think first like you were painting traditionally, then add all the possibilities that working digitally can give you. A friend tried to paint with my brush, the final result was brilliant , but very different from what I do.It's not a great advice, I know. But painting is a very subjective matter.Good luck with your project !Ā

Long time since my last post on this Tumblr ( I've been using a lot the other one for the work in progressĀ http://thomascampi.tumblr.com/ ). My art book Nocturne has been published, thanks to everyone of the backers that helped me in this little adventure!
Almost all of you should have received a copy ( digital or printed ), if not it's only because I've been busy with my move. After 6 years of China I went back to Italy for the summer and now I'm in Sydney ( for good ). SO don't worry, you will receive your copies, postcards, sketches and more.

Hey there dear Anonymous, thanks for the wow! Yes it's just my Photoshop brush, no filter, no plug-ins or any kind of magic. It's actually very simple, i paint as I would on paper.
