Last night I had an amazing photographic experience! I wanted to try out some night photography of the Milky Way for the first time so I found a very dark place around 30 km from where I live and went there. It was so amazingly beautiful and dark at the location. I have actually never before seen the Milky Way with my naked eyes, but there it was!
I managed to capture this photo among many others and I was even lucky enough to get three meteors from the Perseid meteor shower in the shot!
I used a 20 sec self-timer so that I had some time to get up there. Then I had to stand still for the 30 sec exposure.
This was captured with a Nikon D750 and a Nikkor 16-35 mm f/4. Exif for this photo: Â f/4 | ISO 6400 | 16 mm | 30 sec
