I asked my family if they were on the organ donors register. My cousin immediately said no because they could phone you up and ask for a kidney at any time. Doesn’t specify on the card that it’s after you die he says. Worried if he legit thinks that or not.

I think I’m going crazy. I was talking to my toaster this morning as I was waiting for my toast to pop. I said “boo” just as it popped up and said “ha! Made you jump”.

My 7 year old cousin blew my mind today. Her 9 year old sister was trying to make her feel embarrassed about wanting to pray for poor people during Brownies. I told her that it’s a nice thing. This 7 year old sat and told me how lucky she is that she has food to eat and water to drink because so many others don’t. This is a child who has been brought up by her Grandma because her Mum overdosed and her Dad wasn’t around but she feels lucky because she has food to eat and clean water to drink. I feel like there are grown ass people who can learn a lot from my 7 year old cousin.

The thing that’s up with this generation is that they’re too afraid to talk about feelings. You could spend all day with someone after hearing tragic news and it’s not until you go your separate ways they’ll text you like “oh I didn’t want to upset you earlier but sorry to hear about...” erm no Mary you just wanted to avoid an awkward conversation for your own sake don’t go making out this was for my benefit
