do you ever just think about how the Lover era, which Taylor specifically designed to be really peppy and interactive and celebratory and loud, ended with a quiet, heartbreaking performance of her most depressing song performed in seclusion in the midst of an international tragedy? and then just cry a little? 

taylor really had lisa kudrow as a special guest and sang smelly cat, had her and uzo aduba sing white horse together, performed with legends like mick jagger and ricky martin, choreographed a dance to hot in herre with HAIM while nelly performed AND sang frozen with idina menzel while wearing a fucking olaf costume u really gonna tell me the 1989 tour wasnt a fever dream 

sick and twisted to think that taylor doesn’t own the master copy of a song that has her literal heartbeat 

someday i’ll be living in a big old city :) take me to the lakes where all the poets go to die i don’t belong :(
