Completed Illustrations Set: Zephyr by @writingwife-83

Done for the Sherlolly 2016 Remix Challenge, I’ve FINALLY provided more illustrations for this fic. I have a well documented weakness for Victorian!Sherlolly AND arranged marriages, and this was one of the joys I managed to work on since it indulged me in all kinds of ways. Speaking of indulging, @writingwife-83 managed to put up with my often unwarranted input for this story and I’m very proud to have been a part of it. 

The wonderful @beccashalome on Instagram let me remake one of her DyadDoodles in my style. This is the original drawing. Her series is the idea that in Exegol, Ben and Rey figured out that they have to constantly stay in physical contact in order to not break the Force healing circle that they created and so they navigate adventures and each other while making sure they never take their hands off each other. Currently, Rey continues to be oblivious to Ben’s deep deep feelings and I’m living for it.

in 1964 New York, Ben Solo is a successful Madison Avenue advertising executive for The First Order agency, known for getting the best clients…and always getting his way. 

Ben’s equal and sworn enemy at rival agency Resistance Inc. is Rey Niima. Though they’ve never actually met, Rey is disgusted with Ben’s unethical methods and is determined to bring him down.

Due to some confusion at First Order advertising, they put out an a fake ad Ben had made for a fake product called “VIP”. But then people begin to clamor for the mysterious VIP, he is forced to find a chemist to make a product he can sell. 

When Rey gets the ‘scoop’ on a mysterious new product called “VIP”, she is determined to earn the client –the inventor of VIP, Professor Kylo Ren– before Ben Solo even hears about it. She goes to his lab and meets the surprisingly tall young man and proceeds to wine and dine him, going on outings and dinners with him over the course of several days and finds herself really enjoying his company. And so did he, although he didn’t ever correct her assumption and reveal he was actually her sworn rival… 

So I have a stack of AUs that I always tell myself that I'm going to write and/or draw, but alas, I haven't been able to do much with them. And so, I'm releasing them.

This is a Reylo/the Mummy (1999) AU. Not taking place in Egypt, but in some SW galaxy version where on Jakku there is a mysterious treasure that has been searched for centuries, but the legend says that with it, there's also an ancient evil. Rey had seen the forbidden city, but she was caught up in prison, sentenced to hard labor in the desert until a tall librarian comes to see her with a question....

I had a hard time with what this might look like, but since the dyad is supposedly even stronger than that, I went ahead and put a quiet post-canon-au moment, involving tattooed red string of fate. I have a million Pinterest saves from my wedding/engagement photography days, and so I was inspired for this quiet moment.
