This Business Called Music

In my 25 years of choral performance and theatre, I've had my share of nights when I would show up to rehearsal scared that I would drop a line or forget my part.  It's never fun.  I used to wish that I had a hi-tech pair of glasses that could feed me my lines without letting the world know that I had doubt.  Leave it to Google to figure it out.

Technology continues to change the way we listen to music and now The Ultimate Chart has found a way to measure it.  Combining metrics from physical sales, digital sales, social media, radio and streaming, this new chart creates an easy to read glimpse of who's hot in music.  A new standard in music metrics or an overly simplified way of combining stats?  We'll see.
