Hakuoki HCs - How they would be giving you a massage
Mostly light, but gets suggestive at points.
Intro:
It had been a busy day; the Shinsengumi had discovered crucial information that could have life or death consequences, resulting in a flurry of activity throughout the headquarters.
It was all hands on deck, and even you had been pressed into service scribing urgent dispatches to the shogunate's allies and recording notes as the captains paced and strategized.
After a full day hunched over a low writing table, drafting copies of missives and taking dictation, youâre certain your neck and shoulders have fused into one solid block.
When at last the dust has settled and there's nothing left to do but wait, the sun has set and everyone is ready to take a much-needed break for the night.
Returning to your room, you roll your shoulders and tilt your head, stretching your neck. It's no use though - you'll never manage to relax, much less sleep, with this amount of tension radiating through you.
You know he must be exhausted too, but you can't stop yourself from tiptoeing down the hall to your man's room.
You tap lightly at the door, reluctantly making your request as he slides it openâŠ
Can he give you a back rub?
His reaction is...
Hijikata:
Gives you a look that's at once incredulous and irritated, before grumbling that he just spent a full day staving off death and destruction for everyone, what would ever compel you to request more from him?
You immediately feel ashamed and turn to leave, but he pulls you into his room before you can flee.
His hands firm on your shoulders, he sits you down on a cushion and tells you to stay put, giving you a glare that keeps you fixed in place even as he leaves the room.
You don't dare disobey, contenting yourself to fidget awkwardly until his return.
When at last the door slides open again, he enters with a tray carrying two cups hot with steam.
You know instantly what it is, of course - only one thing has that distinctive herbal aroma.
Deeply regretting your choice to not stay in your room, you accept your cup of tea mixed with Ishida Powdered Medicine.
He settles beside you, leaving you no choice but to sip dutifully at the bitter concoction and try not to grimace at the taste.
Even with his gaze distant and his brow furrowed with ongoing worries, he still places a hand on your back and rubs distracted circles as you both sip silently at your cups of medicine.
Between the warmth of the drink, the slow movement of his hand, and his solid presence beside you, your body at last begins to relax.
You can't help but lean into his touch, a sigh slipping from your lips.
His gaze goes sharp and focused at the sound. Taking the cup from your hands, he leads you to his futon and pulls you down with him.
Are you feeling better? Good. You're not the only one who needs to relieve some stress...
Okita:
His look of tired annoyance shifts into a half-smile that fills you with instant suspicion of his next actions.
But instead of laying into you with choice words and sarcasm, he just slings an arm around your shoulders and maneuvers you over to sit on his futon.
Settles cross-legged behind you, his hands pressing a little too hard against the sore muscles of your back. You protest as his thumbs work a knot of tension enough to make your eyes water, and his next attempt fares no better.
Quickly gives up on getting the right pressure in favour of playing with your hair, running his fingers through the strands, scratching lightly against your scalp in a way that has you leaning into his touch, your eyes falling closed.
At some point you become reasonably certain you're now sporting a matching Kondou-inspired hairstyle to his, but by then you're too languid and drowsy to care.
The motions must be equally soothing to him, because at last he gathers you into his arms and lies down, his breathing going slow and relaxed as he holds you close, both of you drifting off to sleep.
Saito:
Steps aside to let you in, and you can't help but notice how his normally stoic expression is weary.
Hesitates for an instant, glancing at his futon only briefly before gesturing for you to take a seat on the floor.
Sits far enough back from you that it feels a little impersonal even as his hands work over your neck, shoulders, and back.
Touches you too lightly at first, but learns as he goes. His movements are efficient, precise in finding just the right places that need a little extra pressure.
You hear him swallow as you lean your head to one side and give a low hum of encouragement when he finds just the right spot. Glancing over your shoulder, he's still as serious as ever, but is now notably red-faced.
You turn and catch his hands in yours. Thanking him for his work, diligent as always, you offer to help him relax in turn. Holding his gaze, you wrap one of his fingers in yours, sliding your grip up and down in a way that leaves it impossible to misunderstand your meaning.
His eyes go wide, his blush deepening as you pull him towards his futon.
Heisuke:
No matter the late hour, a sunny smile breaks across his face at the sight of you.
Takes your hand and eagerly leads you to lie face-down on the disarrayed mess of blankets atop his futon.
Is happy to put his hands all over you, hesitating only a little when the collar of your robe starts to slip with his motions, revealing the tops of your shoulders.
Talks the whole way through. It would normally be distracting, but it's Heisuke, so you love listening to him speak joyfully about anything and everything that comes to mind.
As your clothing continues to slip lower, something firm pokes against your hip. He apologizes with a nervous laugh, adjusting himself before continuing. It happens again soon enough though, and you're no longer convinced it's an accident - you're capable of taking his very obvious hints.
You stifle a laugh and turn to prop yourself up on an elbow, raising an eyebrow, an invitation on your lips. Your words have barely left your mouth before he shrugs out of his clothes and joins you in the blankets.
Harada:
Invites you in with his usual relaxed, half-lidded expression and a smile that's at once calming and sexy.
Guides you down into a comfortable position, making sure the pillow and blankets are arranged just right.
As soon as he starts, it's entirely apparent he knows what heâs doing. His hands are gentle but confident, knowing when to apply pressure and where to tease lightly enough to make you shiver.
You might be tempted to wonder how many women he's done this to in order to be so skilled, but you're too busy melting into a boneless heap to formulate thoughts.
Leans down to press a kiss just behind your ear, his lips soft against your skin. The motion, however, brings his body flush against yours, revealing that âsoftâ is not an accurate description for the rest of him. You find yourself suddenly, painfully needing more as the feeling of him sends a jolt of awareness through you.
Continues to work his hands over your tired muscles, divesting you of both your tension and clothing as he goes.
The next time he bends down to trail kisses along your neck, you're only too eager to let him ease your thighs apart, his weight and warmth settling comfortably against you as he presses you further into the futon.
Nagakura:
Waves you in, clearly excited at the prospect of having you anywhere near his bed.
Suggests you 'get naked' beforehand and seems pleasantly surprised when you do actually disrobe.
Straddles your hips once you're in a comfortable face-down position, cracking his knuckles before he begins.
Hope you like a deep tissue massage, because he only has one setting and that's it.
Your tension is forcefully pushed and kneaded out, occasionally along with your breath.
Presses his whole forearm along one side of your spine, cracking it so loud you're certain the sound woke half the compound.
Flips you over and asks if you're up for an internal massage too, his grin wide and confident. You know, he says, gesturing towards his lap, with his- yes, you say quickly, fighting back an eye-roll at his antics, you do in fact know what he means.
When you proceed to accept, he wastes no time before giving you a very thorough full-body massage.
Souma:
Gives an awkward half-bow as you enter, becoming increasingly flustered as you all but collapse on his futon.
When he finally moves to kneel shakily beside you, his hands are far too timid at the start, as though afraid you'll break. It takes some verbal encouragement before he dares to press harder, and even then it's only the slightest pressure more.
You finally roll over to face him, enjoying his panic as he grabs a pillow and tries to conceal his obvious reaction to touching you. Not bothering to hide your intentions, you pull the pillow away and draw him closer, promising to show him how you can both relax together.
Yamazaki:
Is all business when you mention how sore you are, ushering you into a prone position.
One minute you're tense and stressed, the next you're melting into a puddle.
His nimble fingers apply just the right amount of strength, pinpointing your trigger points and knowing exactly when to ease up and smooth your muscles with broad strokes of his palm.
Time loses all meaning for you as he works. When he's done, he wakes you with a firm but gentle press to your shoulders. You twitch awake, rushing to wipe away the trickle of drool left in the wake of the best massage of your life. He pretends not to notice, only the ghost of a smile on his face.
You offer to return the favour, but he insists that can be left to another night. Sends you on your way with the advice to drink plenty of water and get some rest.
Sanan:
Gives you a thin smile that's both weary and amused, but steps aside to invite you in to make yourself comfortable.
Once you're arranged on his futon, proceeds to trace your muscles with his fingers in a way that's more clinical than soothing.
Sometimes makes a 'hmm' noise, in a way that could be either pleased or concerning. You grow increasingly tense, relaxing only towards the end of his massage / inspection.
Suggests you stay the night, and it turns out that being held close in his arms is the real cure you needed.
Bonus! Intro doesnât fit
Iba:
Is visibly pleased to see you, all signs of fatigue instantly gone from his face. Takes your hands in his and guides you into the room, down onto soft blankets.
Of course he's one of those people who just naturally has incredibly warm hands, the heat of his touch reaching your skin even through the thin fabric of your nightwear.
Helps you unwind with slow, easy strokes of his palms down your back and across your shoulders. You sink further into the blankets, entirely at ease under his touch.
Is a perfect gentleman throughout, but does accept when you turn onto your side, arch an eyebrow, and offer to return the favour in the manner of his choosing.
Kazama:
You frown as his mouth quirks up in a familiar smirk.
That's right - he always knew you'd beg to have his hands on you.
You start to walk away in irritation but he pulls you close, capturing you in a kiss that tells you exactly what you're getting into.
Drawing you further into his room, the door sliding shut behind you, his hands begin to drift across your back, rubbing surprisingly gentle circles along your aching muscles as he continues to kiss you senseless.
Between the touch of his hands and the way he turns his focus to trailing hot kisses down your neck, it's not long until you're left trembling for him, your knees going weak as you fall willingly into his bed.
In the end it's not quite what you had in mind, but you do feel relaxed and fully satisfied after.
Retracting the answer to that Anon ask from the other week⊠Have been replaying Ebon Light again as a result of it, and here we are. Just adore that game.
This is mostly soft and character-centric, but there's some smut at the end.

Ebon Light - Moonbright
Alenca didn't need to search the Burned Forest long; she found him near where the best mushrooms grew, slightly east of the muddy stream and a little west of the moss-covered rocks.
Vadeyn turned towards her before she could speak, his smile spreading wide and bright even in the fading light of evening. He wasn't surprised to see her, of course - what chance did she have to sneak up on a long-trained Gha'alian scout?
"I did warn you," Alenca said, stepping in close beside him, her hand twining with his in a way that had long since come to feel natural and right. "My aunt is a force to be reckoned with. Even the pirates avoid her. I don't blame you for running."
Vadeyn frowned. "I wasn't running. I just thought you two might want some time alone to catch up."
Alenca looked at him, raised an eyebrow, and waited.
"Alright," he admitted at last, "I was absolutely running." He ran a hand through his hair with a sigh. "Your aunt is a terror. Are you sure you have no Gha'alian ancestry? She could go toe to toe with my family and I wouldn't know which side to put trin on."
Alenca laughed softly and leaned in closer, his body solid and warm against the descending chill of the evening. He wrapped his arms around her without a second thought and held her in a tight embrace as the wind rustled through the brush of the forest.
"She likes you," Alenca said, her face pressed against the smooth leather and metal of his armour. "As much as my aunt likes anyone, at least."
He drew away and looked down at her, brow furrowed. "Well, you know her best I suppose. But I hope you'll forgive me for being skeptical."
Alenca gave her most reassuring smile. "She does, trust me. She was so impressed when you fixed the fence. It had been broken for ages."
"She glared at me."
"Yes, but it was an approving glare."
Vadeyn looked away, a smile pulling at his mouth, and said nothing.
They stood in silence, enjoying the cool stillness of the evening, and Alenca watched him from the corner of her eye. With the rapid descent of twilight, Vadeyn's auburn hair and leaf-green eyes were a striking hint of colour against the otherwise bleak landscape. And yet, seeing him in the forest - in Alencaâs forest - felt so perfectly right.
It was the second time she had ever stood in her woods with an elf, but the experience was completely different; for all that neither would appreciate the comparison, Vadeyn undeniably lacked Laceaga's looming menace. Where Laceaga's appearance in her woods had filled her with wrongness and terror, Vadeyn's gentle presence at her side felt as though he had always belonged.
At the first call of an owl, his gaze tracked it precisely, the dim light clearly no issue. He breathed deep and seemed to catch a scent on the breeze, turning ever so slightly to look in the direction of where Alenca knew a patch of pungent herbs grew. The wind picked up and blew cold around them, but Vadeyn just closed his eyes and smiled softly.
Struck with a sudden idea, Alenca pulled at his hand. âCome on, Iâll show you my favourite tree.â
He tilted his head in curiosity. âWhat makes it your favourite?â
She just smiled at him and began to lead the way. âYouâll see.â
Alenca had been gone from Edric for months, but as much as she had changed and grown, the forest hardly had. After so long of relying on the woods for survival, she was certain she would know her way even if she'd been gone for years. She watched her path carefully nonetheless, conscious of the injury a misplaced step in the near-dark of evening could bring. Beside her, Vadeyn's footfalls were soundless. His keen eyes were focused ahead, even as he stepped deftly around fallen branches and navigated the uneven forest floor as though it were as simple as strolling down the cobblestone streets of Gha'alia. Alenca felt the smallest pang of envy at how easy he made it look, before she had no choice but to direct her full attention to forging ahead.
The walk wasn't far. She led him through the clearing dotted with sharp thistles, past the dry undergrowth with bitter roots, and around the dense brambles that sometimes hid the smallest berries. But as the tree came into view, Alenca slowed her pace.
In a place where leaves were rare, the sight of a single broadleaf tree still tufted with green as it clung to life in the heart of the Burned Forest had always been a marvel to her. She'd felt a certain sense of kinship with her tree, struggling but strong in the barren landscape, all odds against it. But now, standing alongside someone who had lived so long and experienced so much, it was suddenly, painfully clear that it was only one tree in a world full of many. Where once the wide, gnarled trunk and solid, reaching branches had seemed the biggest, most exciting thing in her life, it now paled in comparison to all the true wonders she knew the world contained.
When she'd brought Vadeyn to Edric she'd expected some awkwardness, but this was different from having him meet her surly aunt. It was different from showing him their humble hut, smaller and more weatherworn than even an abandoned scouting cabin. This was showing him something deeply personal and truly hers. Surely heâd known how poor and backwater Edric was, but he hadnât truly seen how small her life had been. As they came to stand beneath the branches that had always filled her with awe, Alenca couldnât help but feel a little embarrassed. Now there could be no mistaking how underneath the power granted to her by the Cuthintal, she really was just a simple peasant who'd stumbled into something so much larger than herself and made it through with mostly grit, good fortune, and well-placed allies.
Oblivious to her thoughts, Vadeyn approached the tree in silence and placed a hand against its scarred bark. He was still for a moment, gazing up almost reverently at the branches that stretched skyward.
"I can see why you like it," he said at last, and when he turned towards her, his expression was earnest. "It's beautiful."
All of her doubts and vulnerability vanished instantly. After months of coming to learn and depend on his constant kindness and support, how had she ever thought he would react differently? She stepped towards him and placed her hand beside his, the bark of the trunk rough under her palm.
"It's perfect for climbing," she said, a note of pride slipping into her voice.
With a grin, he inclined his head towards one of the branches. "May I?"
"Go right ahead." She stepped back, giving him room to climb. "There's a knot about halfway up that's easy to grip-"
Alenca stopped suddenly, blinking up at Vadeyn as he looked down from a comfortable perch in the tree. He had climbed so swiftly and quietly she hadn't even registered when he'd left her side. She'd known his decades in the Forces had given him the time and experience needed to cultivate an impressive array of skills, but she'd never had cause to see him do anything other than archery.
With a growing awareness that she was gaping at him for far too long, Alenca struggled to cover her astonishment with words. "But⊠how?"
She winced at her eloquence, but between the faint flush across his face and the way he avoided her eyes, he was clearly too self-conscious of his own display of undeniably Gha'alian strength and skill to notice her discomfort.
"I'm a scout," he explained, his voice caught somewhere between bashful and bitter. "We practically live in trees." He met her gaze again, hesitant, as though still expecting her to be frightened or repulsed by his show of non-human abilities. "Anyone can learn, if you have the time and training."
"You don't need to downplay it," Alenca said, placing her hands on the familiar dips and furrows of the tree and starting her much slower climb. "You're amazing."
With her focus on finding her way up, she wasn't able to fully appreciate his stunned expression at her words. She was nowhere near as quick as him, but she found the old handholds she knew and it wasn't long before she was high enough that he could extend a hand down to her.
"Are you alri-â Vadeynâs words broke off sharply as Alenca glanced up and gave him a smirk. âI mean, do you need help?"
"No," she said stubbornly, but took his proffered hand all the same and let him pull her the last of the way up.
He kept hold of her as she found her balance, his own footing sure, and then guided her until they sat safely side by side, legs dangling over the edge of the wide branch. Her hand still clasped with his, Alenca leaned against him and admired the view of the forest. Dusk had passed, but the moon was close to full and the sky was mercifully clear, rendering the desolate woods both silvered and shadowed. The effect would have been breathtaking on any occasion, but with Vadeyn's gentle presence beside her, Alenca's heart felt full and warm despite the cool air of the night.
Vadeyn seemed just as taken with the view, looking out over the forest for a long time before he spoke again.
"Thank you," he said softly, "for showing me this."
He squeezed her hand and smiled at her, his green eyes and pale face entirely sincere, strikingly moon-bright in the dark. Touched by his acceptance and understanding, Alenca found herself unable to speak, her heart suddenly in her throat. So she just nodded at him, leaning in closer until he wrapped his arms around her and held her tight. He kissed the top of her head and stroked her back and arms, giving her the time and comfort needed to collect herself. When at last she drew away, Alenca couldn't help but duck her head to hide how close she still was to being overwhelmed by her sudden rush of feelings towards him.
Vadeyn, with his infinite kindness and consideration, didn't tease or comment. Instead, he just looked up at the impressive heights of the tree and asked, âWhat's the highest you've climbed?â
Swallowing down her emotions enough to respond, Alenca pointed to a branch high above. "I once made it all the way up there."
Vadeyn whistled, low and impressed.
"Then I looked down," Alenca continued, "and realized how much trouble I was in."
"What did you do?"
"I climbed down, of course." She thought back to the experience, gathering her memories, and explained, "Out here, no one would have found me. And even if they had, how could they have helped? So I just did what I could and climbed down one branch at a time. It took what felt like hours and I almost fell more times than I want to remember, but I had no choice but to keep going until I reached the ground. And when I finally did, I felt so accomplished." She gave a wry smile. "Even though all I'd really done was get myself out of a situation of my own making, it still felt like I'd done something great. I was ready to take on anything for days afterwards."
Vadeyn smiled fondly at her for a long moment before finding his words. "That story is very⊠you." Alenca looked at him questioningly, but he continued, "Were you happy here?"
She paused, and then answered slowly, âFor the most part, yes. There were times when I was cold and hungry, but my reality was so small that in a way it felt comfortable and safe. I always wanted more though." She looked at him and said with certainty, âYou would be happy here.â
It was a statement, not a question. Away from his family, away from the pressures and expectations of Gha'alian society, in a place where his skills would be valued and his compassion appreciated by others, Edric would be a welcome reprieve after decades of hardship in the Forces and judgement from a land and people that should have been home.
Vadeyn took her hands in his, looking down as he ran his thumbs across her palms. Then he turned them over, brought them to his lips, and placed a gentle kiss to the back of both her hands.
He raised his gaze to hers again and said, âAlenca, I would be happy wherever you are.â
He said it so simply, so truthfully, but the emotion behind his words made the green of his eyes star-brilliant in the moonlight.
She kissed him then - how could she not, with the ambience of the night and the warmth of their shared feelings?
She liked kissing him. He was always so hesitant at first, only ever with the most tentative deepening of the kiss before easing off, as though unsure of her desires and surprised at his own. She responded by pressing herself closer, coaxing him further bit by bit, her mouth open and tempting. It was her favourite thing to at last draw him out enough to forget his gentle, cautious nature, to grow bold and lose himself to a shared heat. Yes, Alenca thought as she pushed him to the point of holding her to him and angling her as he pleased, she liked kissing him very much indeed.
She put her hands to his chest, but his armour was too much of a barrier to his skin. Reaching up further, she brushed her fingers through his hair, glancing along the tops of his pointed ears. His moan at this was lost in their kiss, but he shivered hard enough to rustle the leaves at the end of their branch.
Pleased with his reaction, Alenca moved to kiss the corner of his mouth, down along his jaw, then up across his ear, all the while smiling to herself. Satisfied that he was distracted by her attentions, one of her hands trailed over his armour again, down further still to rest on his thigh, and at last teasing its way up until she could take hold of him through his clothing. He broke away from her with a gasp, his hands dropping from her immediately, clutching at the branch to steady himself.
"Alenca!" he protested, his voice and expression scandalized. "What are you thinking? We can't do that up here."
"I thought you said scouts live in trees?" she said, feigning innocence as she stroked him through his clothes. From what she was feeling, he had evidently enjoyed their kisses.
"This is completely different." He closed his eyes with a groan as she continued her motions, and when he looked at her again his eyes glinted with mischief. "But maybe we could continue on the ground?"
"Alright then." She released him from her grasp and nodded towards the forest floor. "After you."
He scrabbled down the tree immediately, just as quick as before but with a remarkable lack of grace.
"What?" he asked, trying unsuccessfully to hide his embarrassment. "I've never had to climb down a tree in this state before."Â
He gestured slightly towards his very obvious arousal, and Alenca had to stifle a giggle as she followed suit in descending. Between her eager haste and the dark shadows of the tree, she was unsurprised when her foot slipped partway down. Equally unsurprising was how Vadeyn caught her as she fell, his arms strong around her waist, helping her slide the last of the way down. By the time her feet hit the ground, she figured they were both already past any sort of dignity, so she pushed back and rubbed her hips against him. He inhaled sharply at the friction and muttered something in Gha'alian.
"What does that mean?" Alenca asked as Vadeyn sank down to sit at the base of the tree, pulling her along with him until she was nestled in his lap.
"I don't know," he said, fully occupied with tracing the curve of her hips. "Minx? Seductress? You can't seriously expect me to think of accurate translations right now."
She laughed and kissed him again, adjusting her position in his lap until she sat comfortably astride. He warmed easily to the kiss this time, any hesitation forgotten as she pressed herself eagerly to him. He ran his hands along her back, tracing her shoulder blades before dipping low to grip her hips and pull her in hard. A wash of heat flooded her at the feeling of him so firm beneath her, his body clearly eager for hers. Needing to be even closer, she undid the buckles of his armour and pushed it away, letting it fall forgotten to the forest floor. Bunching her hands in the soft material of his shirt, she pressed herself as close as she could and kissed him until they were both breathless.
Breaking apart, Alenca pushed herself up from his lap, almost light-headed as she stood. Vadeyn made a noise of protest, but his dismay lasted only an instant as Alenca made quick work of her clothes. As the last of her clothing dropped to the ground, she raised her arms above her head and arched her back in a stretch, letting him look his fill, knowing full well the night hid nothing from the eyes of elves. With his face flushed and eyes dark, Vadeyn looked almost drunk at the sight of her.
"How did I get so lucky?" he wondered out loud. He stared for a moment more, before his eyebrows knit with concern. "Aren't you cold?"
"A little," she admitted as she settled back to straddle his lap, drawing his hands up to cup her breasts. "But I think you know how to fix that."
He broke into a lopsided grin, pleased and flustered all at once. "Oh, yes," he replied, clearly very distracted, "I might."
With his hands busy, he leaned in to nuzzle kisses along her neck. Alenca sighed softly, giving herself over to his attentions, and trailed her hands down his still-clothed chest. He was far too dressed for her liking, so she undid his trousers enough to take him in hand, enjoying the heat and weight of him as she stroked. He bit back a moan and buried his face against her shoulder as her hand found the rhythm he liked.
"You don't need to be quiet," Alenca murmured. "No one comes out here this late. Besides-" She caught his ear with her teeth, smoothing over the bite with her tongue as she twisted her wrist. "-I love the noises you make."
"Please, Alenca," he groaned, "have some mercy."
"Never," she said with a smile, and continued her loving torment of him.
Shivering, he reacted with gasps and whimpers as she stroked him firmly and sought out all the most sensitive places along his ears and neck. He let her do it, near overwhelmed, until he gathered his senses enough to bring a hand downwards and tease her in return. Between his nimble fingers and careful attention to her reactions, he soon had her sparking hot and needing more.
To Alenca's relief, Vadeyn wasn't much better - despite his renewed focus on her, his breath came quick, the green of his eyes reduced to slivers. He was tense beneath her, murmuring incomprehensible pleas, every bit as near to the edge as she was. Stilling the motion of her hand, Alenca grabbed his shirt and pulled herself in as close as she could, drawing him into a kiss that was at once heartfelt and desperate. His hands went to her hips, steadying her, and she sank down on him at last.
With a low noise as close to a growl as she'd ever heard from him, he broke their kiss and closed his eyes, letting his head fall back against the tree. Alenca admired him - the tension in his jaw, the lines of his pale ears, the colour of his hair gone wine-dark in the night - and gave herself time to adjust to the way he filled her. When at last she began to move, even the most tentative motions left her trembling. He kept one hand on her hips in gentle encouragement, while the other returned to brush lightly between her thighs, coaxing her along, always so attentive even when almost at his own limits. As Alenca settled into a slow, intimate pace, Vadeyn swallowed hard, his breathing quick, and rocked his hips upwards to meet hers.
âLike this?â he asked, ever considerate, even as the strain of holding back showed on his face.
Between the meeting of their hips and the caress of his fingers, Alenca could only give a low hum of contentment in response, all her nerves singing as her body began to draw tight around him. Bringing her hands up, she ran them through his hair, catching at his ears. He whimpered at this, and so with the last of her conscious thought she stroked over them again, right to the very tips.
"Bewan, Alenca, I'm going to-" He bit his lip, his eyes squeezing shut, and shuddered as he thrust his hips upwards, breaking their rhythm and the last of her control all at once.
She ground herself to him, neither of them holding back as the sounds of their release filled the silence of the forest. When they finally calmed, pressed together, limbs entwined, they fell into the same sense of stillness as the night around them.
Vadeyn stroked his hands softly over her arms, almost without thinking at first, and then with intention as a cool breeze whispered past. Reluctantly, Alenca shifted in his lap, drawing away to retrieve her clothes despite his murmured protests. She almost stumbled as she pulled them on, her body heavy, and retreated quickly back to the warmth and comfort of his arms. Tucking her in as close as he could, he let his head tip back to gaze up at the tree stretched tall above them, the moon high in the sky, the stars cast wide across the black.
"Did you know," he said softly, still looking up into the night, "I've had to sleep outside more times than I can count. But tonight feels different. It feels right." Green gaze falling back to her, he asked, "Stay here with me?"
"Always," she said, snuggling in close, at home in his embrace no matter where they were.

His face instantly slides into the look of unimpressed disapproval you've seen him level at his subordinates too many times to count
Grits his teeth, turns on his heel, and stalks away to attend to more pressing matters
(Cares about you enough though that he soon sends Saito over to do the dirty work)
Okita:
Doubles over laughing, tears springing to his eyes as you grow increasingly panicked over something so insignificant
Shaking his head, leaves you to fend for yourself
Agrees to let you sleep in his bed that night - it's the least he can do with the creature still on the loose. Of course, doesn't miss his chance to brush a fingertip lightly across your back, laughing loud as you spring from the futon and shake out the covers in a panic.
Saito:
For an instant, looks incredibly weary at the prospect of having to take yet another life
Nonetheless, steps forward and dispatches the insect with ruthless efficiency
Gives you only a perfunctory nod before returning to his work
Heisuke:
What, did this little guy scare you?
Picks it up and lets it run across his hand, laughing at the tickling sensation of its legs against his skin
Tries to show it to you, claiming there's nothing to be scared of, but quickly relents in the face of your panicked protests and finds a new home for it out in the courtyard
Harada:
For just a moment you think he might be holding back laughter, but that can't be true - surely he'd never laugh at you for being in such a perilous situation!
Reassures you that everything will be fine, and then promptly squishes the bug
Before leaving, checks all the corners of your room to make sure there's nothing else that might cause you distress
Nagakura:
Before you even finish your words, takes off his sandal and lobs it across the room
It lands with a perfect smack, crushing the creature with a single, forceful blow
Strides forward to pick up his sandal and put it back on without a second thought
Gives your ass a firm squeeze on his way back out the door and tells you not to get too lonely while he's busy
You're so impressed with his quick action and impeccable aim, you're not even mad that he left you to clean up the splattered remains of the crushed insect
Souma:
Determination flares in his eyes - his time to prove his worth to you has come!
Is entirely serious as he faces down his opponent. Swallows as he looks at the creature, steadying himself. Unfortunately, it proves too wily for him, deftly evading his efforts to end its life. Finally slipping through a crack between the tatami and the wall, the insect makes its escape.
With a deep bow of apology, he offers to stay with you that night in case of the creatureâs return. You accept, but neither of you sleep well, clinging to each other as your dreams turn to nightmares of skittering legs lurking amidst shadows.
Yamazaki:
Briefly appears bemused by the reason you need his help, before springing into action
Swiftly kills the bug, taking care not to leave a mark on the tatami
His expression is stone-faced as he asks if you require any other assistance. You shake your head, suddenly a little ashamed at having made such a scene, and thereâs the briefest glimmer of laughter in his eyes before he takes his leave to continue with his actual responsibilities.
Sanan:
Looks at you, blinking slow enough that no words are required to communicate exactly what he thinks of the situation
You shift uncomfortably, caught between his silent judgement and the many-legged horror haunting your room
At last he sighs, steps forward, and rids you of the unwelcome intruder
Gives you one last look of chilly disapproval before heading back to his work
Bonus! (Intro doesn't fit)
Iba:
His expression softens instantly when he realizes the issue
Gives your arm a gentle squeeze before determining the best method to resolve the situation
Carefully catches the bug between a cup and a piece of paper and deposits it safely outside
Promptly returns to your side, ever-concerned with your comfort and well-being
Kazama:
Hand falling from his sword, his face settles into an expression of pure derision
Looks at you
Looks at the insect
Looks back at you
Leaves without a single word, a scowl etched across his features
You're left considering your options - does this warrant moving to a new room entirely? - when you hear a casual greeting from over your shoulder.
You spin around and come face to face with a familiar grin
The one and only Shiranui moves to stand beside you and asks what's got you in such a twist
You barely have time to gesture before he does a quick-draw, picking off the hapless creature with pinpoint accuracy
Holsters his gun with a flourish, gives you a mock salute, and promises to catch up more later
Leaves you a little shocked at what just happened - youâre safe, but now utterly perplexed as to how to deal with the still-smoking hole in your bedroom floor.
Kotone emerged from the kitchen, clean-up chores complete, only to be met with Ilâs beaming face.
âKotone! Kotone!â he said, clapping his hands together in excitement. âI know another game we can all play together.â
Undoing her apron and tucking it away behind the counter, she shook her head. "No. Thatâs not happening. No more game nights."
"But I just found out about this game called truth or dare-"
"Absolutely not," she said, cutting him off. "Thereâs no way we're playing that."
He pouted, crestfallen, and it took all of Kotoneâs willpower to steel her heart against the absurdly effective powers of persuasion contained in his expression alone.
âI guess Iâll just go play an otome game,â he said sullenly. He stepped slowly towards the stairs, glancing back at her as he reached them. âAll alone...â
Valiantly resisting her deep-seated urge to capitulate to his every whim, she gave him a wave instead. âHave fun!â
It wasnât until heâd disappeared up to the second floor that she let out her breath in a sigh of relief. Disaster averted.
Or so she thought.
"Would you play truth or dare with just me?"
Kotone whirled around, even though she knew from the voice exactly who she'd find. Which other patron could communicate a teasing smirk through words alone?
Seated in his usual spot, Misyr grinned at her, devious and charming.
Heat rushed to her face as memories of the last time she'd seen him rose to her mind unbidden - of the kiss they'd shared, of what he'd asked her after...
As though he could read her thoughts, Misyr raised an eyebrow, one corner of his mouth pulling up enough to fill his grin with suggestion.
Suppressing a shiver, Kotone at last remembered to answer his question. "I might consider it," she said, aiming for a breezy tone even as her heart fluttered rapidly. "Don't you need to leave soon though? It's getting late."
With a frown, he checked his pocket watch. His jaw tight, he clicked his tongue.
"I don't have long before I need to leave," he admitted. Setting his watch on the counter, he met her gaze again and continued, his voice low, "But I'm sure we can make the time count."
He grinned wide and raised his eyebrows, as though both pleased and a little surprised, the points of his canines making an appearance. "Dare," he said, because of course he would.
Kotone paused. She hadn't actually considered how to proceed now that she'd come this far. What would be a dare fit for a demon king? Something that picked up where they'd left off last game? Or would that be moving too fast? For all that she'd come to know the quirks of her patrons, she really had no idea what sort of social norms the denizens of Asmodia applied to romantic situations. Perhaps something safer then. But what was considered a safe dare for someone with his powers? She knew his abilities well enough to understand that one wrong interpretation could have devastating, apocalyptic consequences.
"Is it that difficult?" he asked, clearly amused by her indecision. "You can ask me to do anything you like. Smite your enemies, make you wealthy beyond compare, conjure some object of your heart's desire." With his eyes half-lidded, his voice shifted into almost a purr. "Whatever you ask, I'm yours to command."
She looked at him, her mind floundering both under the limitless options as well as the evident suggestion in his words. The points of his teeth flashed bright as he grinned, her visible struggle evidently entertaining.
"Well I don't have any enemies to smite and I can't think of anything material I need soâŠ" She cast a glance over his features again, her eyes catching on the earring that decorated one of his ears. "So I dare you to⊠let me touch your ears?"
He appeared momentarily bemused by her request, but nonetheless he bent forward, obliging her. "If that's what you want, go ahead."
Misyr blinked. âFair enough.â He gave a wry grin. âNot what I hoped, but I guess I should have expected that.â
Trying not to let her mind run wild with assumptions of what he'd hoped to hear, Kotone asked, "Truth or dare?"
"Dare."
As she cast about for another suitable dare, her eyes landed on Misyr's coffee cup, long since empty and set aside. "I dare you to wash the dishes the next time you visit."
He laughed, shaking his head. "You can't do a rain check dare."
"And why not?" she protested. "You said I could ask you to do whatever I wanted."
Relenting, he raised his hands, palms outward. "Alright, fine, I'll do it. It'll be quick with magic anyway. Your turn."
"Truth."
His mouth curved into a teasing smile and he asked, "Have you ever dreamed about me?"
Now that was a dangerous truth. She looked down and rubbed her thumb over an imaginary spot on the counter, pushing down a wave of wispy, heated recollections. Or did her best to, at least. Being alone with him at such a late hour did her no favours in stemming the tide of her thoughts.
"Yes," she admitted, feeling her cheeks flush. Willing herself to look back up at him, she continued quickly, "Truth or dare?"
He narrowed his eyes. "That's all I'm getting as my answer?" When she simply nodded, he sighed, resigned. "Alright then. Dare."
At a loss for what more to ask, she groaned in frustration. "You always pick dare."
"And you always pick truth," he said with a shrug.
Vaguely aware that she was about to send the evening careening into even more treacherous territory than it already was, she let her next words fall from her lips with a hint of challenge. "Let's change it up then."
"Fine, I take back my choice." Misyr smiled crookedly, one of his pointed teeth poking out. "Truth."
Summoning her courage, Kotone leaned towards him, resting her elbows on the countertop and holding his gaze. He mirrored her position, bringing their faces close.
Almost certain the sound of her heartbeat would drown out her voice, she asked what she truly wanted to know. "Did you mean what you said the other night? About wanting to kiss me again, outside of a game?"
"Yes," he said, without a trace of hesitation, mischief, or teasing. "Your turn."
She swallowed, steadying herself. "Dare."
His gaze flicked down to her mouth, and when he looked up again she knew exactly what was coming.
"I dare you to let me kiss you again," he said, his voice stripped of all its usual carefree playfulness. "If you still want me to, of course."
His brow furrowed ever so slightly, betraying the faintest hint of uncertainty. She had no idea why though - dare or not, there was only one way she could possibly answer.
"Yes," she breathed out.
He didn't smirk or grin or laugh, or do any of the million little things she'd come to associate with him. He just held her gaze and leaned slowly forward, closing his eyes just as he brought his lips to hers.
In a way, it reminded her of the first time he'd kissed her - that gentle brush of lips that teased her to respond. But he didn't press it any further this time, just left it at a simple kiss before drawing away, the beginnings of a flush high on his cheekbones.
"My turn now," he said softly. "Dare."
She smiled, for once knowing exactly what she wanted to ask of him.
"I dare you to let me kiss you," she whispered.
"You're wasting your dare," he whispered back, leaning in as his trickster's grin made its reappearance at last. "I would do that anyway."
He kissed her again, and this time he didn't hold back. Reaching across the counter, ever careful of his talons, he brought a hand up to cup her face. Fingertips skimming across her cheek, he buried his hand in her hair and pulled her closer. He licked at her lower lip, coaxing her further until their kiss turned open-mouthed and heated.
Kotone let herself be consumed by the sensations, leaning in as close as she could, bracing her hands on the counter and paying no mind to the way the edge dug uncomfortably against her hips. All of her focus was on the press of their lips, the sweep of their tongues, the slight pull of her hair as his grip tightened when she made a needy noise in the back of her throat. When they finally drew apart, both of them breathing hard, his eyes were dark and focused on her in a way that charged the air between them.
"That's cheating, you know," she informed him between breaths. "I was supposed to be the one to kiss you, not the other way around."
"Since when do I play by the rules?" He grinned wickedly and began to lean towards her again. But then he glanced down, his gaze catching on his pocket watch on the counter, and drew back sharply.
"I need to leave," he said, the colour draining from his face. Grabbing the watch and stuffing it away, he gave her a look heavy with regret. "I'm sorry."
Kotone rocked back on her heels, uncertain how to respond to the sudden change of pace. "Oh," she said. "Alright."
He stepped away, but then turned back to her, as though he couldn't quite bring himself to part just yet.
"Walk me out?" he asked.
He tried for the usual levity in his voice and his trademark smile, but it all just came out sad. Kotoneâs heart thudded all the same, as persistent thoughts of the kisses theyâd shared left her heady with unresolved desire. Pushing down her feelings, she nodded and hurried around the counter to join him.
"It's fine," she said, but as they passed through the door marked for employees only, the otherworldly gate just seemed looming and ominous. "I understand you have⊠things to tend to." Misyr grimaced at this, and Kotone wanted more than anything to see him back to his usual charming, light-hearted self. The problems of demon lords were far outside her area of expertise though, so she did the only thing she could think of and just made him a hopeful promise to look forward to: "When you come back, weâre picking up where we left off."
He grinned, the tension easing from his face. "I intend to." Stepping in close, his green eyes fixed on hers, he brought a finger to her chin and tipped her head up towards him. "Before I go," he said, his voice low, "do you plan to collect on that kiss I owe you?"
Matching his grin with her own, she stood on her tip-toes and leaned towards him. Knowing their minutes together were precious, she wasted no time in bringing her lips to his, intent on making it count.
All the intensity they'd shared before came rushing back, and without the counter between them, the heat of their bodies pressed close ignited the kiss into something new and dangerous. He returned the kiss with just as much fervour, one hand cupping her face while the other settled on her hip, fitting perfectly to the curve of her body, his palm warm even through her clothing. Her legs growing weak, Kotone gripped his arms to hold herself steady as the world seemed to tilt beneath her, but it was no use. Stumbling backwards, she grasped his robes and pulled him with her until her back hit the solid wood of the door. His hands landed on the door for only an instant before they were on her again, holding tight to her waist.
With a noise like a growl, he broke their kiss at last, leaving her breathless and trembling as he turned his attention to her neck. He pressed her harder against the door, like his patience and control frayed with every second that passed. Kotone gasped, as much from the sensations of him exploring a sensitive patch of skin as what she felt so evidently against her. With their bodies so close, it was impossible to ignore the press of him at her hips, hot and hard and insistent. Even with their clothes between them, feeling the tangible proof that he was just as worked up as she was sent her into a spiral of uncontrollable desire.
With all her nerves alight, she hardly noticed when his horns scratched at her skin. "Shit, sorry," he murmured hastily, even as he continued his attentions. "What am I doing? I need to leave. But I've been dreaming of this for so longâŠ"
He nuzzled against her neck, making his way up to lavish kisses along her ear. Greedy for more, Kotone grabbed one of his hands from around her waist and placed it to her breast.
Misyr laughed, his breath hot against her skin. "Is this good for you?"
He cupped her breast and kneaded it firmly, his mouth still working at her ear.
"Yes," she whimpered.
His thumb traced the outline of her nipple through the thin material of her shirt and bra, making her gasp. Hooking a leg around him, she pulled him closer yet, grinding her hips against his. He groaned, the low and honest sound sending a shiver through her.
"Is this making you want more?" he asked, his hips rocking forward to echo her movement.
She wanted him to take her against the door right then and there, but that was beyond her overwhelmed mind's capacity to express, so she just ground herself harder against him and moaned out, "Oh god yes."
He captured her lips in a kiss, deep and desperate, but then suddenly broke away, letting the tension between them simmer. He fixed her with a look that was all heat, tempered with a hint of hope and vulnerability just below the surface.
"Can we do this again, the next time I'm able to come back?"
"Yes,â she panted out. âBut that's three truths in a row. And I thought we'd already agreed to do this outside of a game?"
Her words startled a huff of amusement from him. "Do you really think we're still playing?â His green eyes gleamed with mischief. âThen it looks like I owe you three turns. All dares, of course."
With her back against the door, his body maddeningly firm against hers, both of them breathing hard, there was really only one dare she could think of.
"Stay the night," she whispered. "Please."
Misyr drew back, his expression so stricken it made her instantly regret her words. "I⊠I can't." He swallowed and glanced away, and when he looked at her again his eyes were infinitely weary. "I wish I could, but I can't. Dare me to do anything else." With a soft brush of his lips against hers, he spoke his next words in a whisper. "Iâd move mountains and bring down stars for you, but I canât stay.â
Her heart broke then, more for the sadness in his eyes than for the knowledge that she'd soon be left deprived of his warmth and presence.
"Then in what little time we have left tonight," she said, "make me forget that you need to leave." She kissed him hard, putting all of her pent-up desire into it, and when they broke apart at last her voice was full of challenge. "I dare you."
He looked at her for a moment, his eyes dark, his jaw tight. Then he grinned, slow and dangerous.
"You keep wasting your dares," he chided, and kissed her again.
The fire between them came roaring back, burning fiercer than ever with their shared desperation. Kotone put her hands to his chest, burrowing her fingers in his robes until she was as close to his skin as she could get. Bucking her hips against his, she moaned into their kiss and the illusion of his control vanished completely.
With a growl, Misyr pinned her to the door, lifting her up until her feet dangled beneath her. She made a noise of surprise, the sound lost in their kiss, but then wrapped her legs around his hips and ground herself rhythmically against him. He responded in kind, the pace of their movements growing frantic. Even with their clothes between them, his body rubbed hot and insistent against where she was most sensitive. The hard friction of him between her legs left her quickly overwhelmed, her whole body sparking, her sensations building.
Skimming her hands up his chest, over the slim muscles of his shoulders and higher still, she buried her fingers in his hair. When her touch slid past his ears and glanced across his horns, he groaned deep and shivered so hard it seemed to transfer to her as well.
"Oh fuck that feels good," he murmured between kisses, so she did it again, tangling her fingers in his hair and stroking the base of his horns. Her touch seemed to spur him to an even greater fervour, every press of his hips pushing her closer to catching fire.
"Keep going, keep going," she pleaded, her own pace frantic, grinding herself to him until her breath caught in her throat.
His rhythm against her was unrelenting, driving her mercilessly towards her peak. Her legs squeezing tight around him, she cried out as the sudden, inevitable release of tension crashed over her. He worked her through it, even as his own shuddered through him, rubbing against her just right until she was trembling and weak in his arms. He held her after, both of them breathing hard, leaning heavy against the wooden door.
But the perfect moment lasted only an instant before he winced as though in pain. Setting her down, he tore himself away and fixed her with a look of feverish intensity. "I'll be back as soon as I can,â he said, his voice rough and full of promise. âAnd then we're doing this properly. No more games."
Dragging her back in, he gave her one last desperate kiss, enough to leave her already wobbly knees weak, and then wrenched himself away. With one final glance full of longing and regret, his taloned hand grasped the door, throwing it open and disappearing back to his own world.
Kotone sank to the ground, her legs finally giving way without the solid support of his body. She breathed deep, trying to calm her racing heart and cool her still-burning skin. If that was what it meant to play games with a demon king⊠She shivered, unable to imagine how she'd feel when he made good on his promise to do things right.
When at last she regained her strength, Kotone rose slowly to her feet. Placing a hand on the door for support, she took several steadying breaths, her nerves still alight from what they'd shared. It was late, but she had no idea how she'd manage to sleep. And even if she somehow did, she was certain her dreams would be full of him. Despite whatever he was dealing with that drew him inevitably back to his realm each night, she hoped he would dream of her too.

Lupin kissed her with a fervour that left Cardia weak-kneed and furious.
Weak-kneed because she was entirely at the mercy of his kiss, all-consumed with the feeling of his lips on hers.
Furious because just hours earlier she'd expressed her discomfort with how he always managed to overwhelm her while remaining forever composed and in control, and it had made no difference whatsoever.
Dramatically backlit by the sun setting over the harbour, Lupin had set his silver tongue to work with the words and reassurances she'd needed to hear. He'd said all the right things, been so sincere, and yet here he was again kissing her until her legs felt like jelly as he pressed her down on her bed beneath him.
For all his talk of how he was just as taken with her as she was with him, it was utterly unfair that he had her at such a disadvantage yet again; on her back as he buried his hands in her hair, gently angling her head just right so he could kiss her until she all but swooned.
His thief's fingers knew just how to trail lightly along her skin, leaving heat and sparks in their wake as he coaxed whimpers from her lips. As one of his hands found its way between her legs, she was so distracted by his touch she barely registered that he'd at some point divested himself of his sleepwear. And yet, for all the fire and shivers he was provoking in her, he was still wholly, impossibly collected.
Frustration bubbling up, Cardia pushed at him weakly, almost relenting to the skillful brush of his fingers against her. Finally, as he slid her nightdress upwards and settled between her thighs, she found the strength she needed to shove him away.
Sitting back on his knees, Lupin's dashing grin wavered only slightly.
His expression was one of undeniable charm, and Cardia seethed as her treasonous stomach took flight in butterflies.
"I would like something else, yes," she said, clamping down on the flutters that threatened to overturn her resolve.
But what exactly? All of her efforts to turn the tables on him had failed thus far. Cardia chewed at her lip as she considered her distractingly handsome and naked husband.
"Princess?" Lupin asked, eyebrows drawing together in slight confusion. "I am at your service."
Of course he was. He always was. And once she gave any indication of what she wanted he would no doubt have her in the palm of his skillful hands yet again. Even while in the throes of passion, Lupin was just as in control of the situation as he was outside the bedroom. It seemed almost inevitable that she'd end up losing herself entirely to the expert play of his fingers and body as she lay back against the pillows, swept away with sensations she was powerless to resist, while his roguish grin and honeyed words remained ever-present.
That would not do. That would not do at all.
She needed some way to turn the situation to her advantage. Some way to reverse their positions. To for once have him on his back, just as overwhelmed and helpless as he made her feel...
Could it perhaps be so simple as that?
Stripping off her nightgown before her confidence deserted her, Cardia grasped Lupin's shoulders and maneuvered him down onto the bed.
Lupin's grin faltered, his eyes going wide as she pushed him down against the pillows and climbed on top of him.
"This is, uh-" He cleared his throat and smoothly regained his composure. "It feels rather ungallant of me to inconvenience a lady in such a manner."
Cardia smiled down at him. The view while sitting astride him was really quite novel and enticing.
"It's no inconvenience," she reassured him. "I want to try it this way."
He raised an eyebrow, his confident, mischievous grin returning as his hands settled on her thighs. "Comme tu veux."
Taking a moment to carefully align her hips, Cardia's eyes fell closed as she lowered herself onto him. Lupin made a soft groan as they joined, but by the time Cardia opened her eyes again he was simply looking up at her, charming smile fixed firmly in place.
The position was certainly different from what she was used to. Moving her hips tentatively at first, it took her a few tries to fall into a rhythm that felt right. But just as she found her pace, Lupin slid a hand between them, touching her in a way she was helpless to resist.
Cardia gasped and sank down on him again, unable to hold back a moan. A jolt of pleasure curled hot and fierce through her, mixing with a sudden twinge of anger. At him. At his clever fingers. At the irresistibly handsome grin he flashed at her as he had the situation perfectly in control even while flat on his back beneath her. His maddening fingers continued their work, and it was instantly apparent that while she had reversed their positions in one way, she hadn't at all in another.
Gritting her teeth, Cardia drew herself away, indignation coursing through her. Ignoring Lupin's questioning look, she grabbed one of his neckties from the nightstand, running it through her hands to test the strength of the fabric. Satisfied, she turned back to him, pulled his arms up over his head, and set to work.
"Cardia?" he asked, confusion clear across his face. "What are you- Oh."
Pulling the last knot tight, Cardia sank back on her knees and admired her handiwork. The necktie looped through the ornately carved headboard, securing her husband's wrists and his too-skilled hands firmly out of reach.
Lupin furrowed his brow and tugged at the restraints, but the knots held. When he glanced back at her again, he couldn't quite rid the uncertainty from his features. "Is everything alright, my treasure?"
"Perfectly alright," she confirmed, settling back over his hips.
"This is-" He swallowed audibly as she lowered herself onto him yet again. "This is new."
Ignoring him, Cardia focused on her movements, finding the rhythm he'd interrupted before. She angled her hips experimentally, until finally she found just the right motion that made her see stars.
"Oh!" she cried out, her eyes going wide. "Oh that's good!"
"Mon dieu," Lupin whispered, but Cardia paid him no mind.
She trailed a hand down until it came to rest between her legs and touched herself as he had done to her so many times before. Her own fingers were nowhere near the level of his expert touch, but as she stroked in time with the movement of her hips it was just right all the same.
She closed her eyes, focused on the feelings her attentions were producing, and rode him until her thighs shook and her muscles tensed. Lupin made a low groan, but Cardia barely heard him as she cried out, grinding down hard and riding out the sensations as she reached her peak.
When she opened her eyes again at last, Lupin was breathing hard, his pale skin flushed red from his face down to his chest as his bound hands clenched tight on the headboard. His hips strained beneath hers, eager to reach his own release as well. With his amber eyes dark, a sheen of sweat across his skin, it was painfully obvious he was very, very close.
Still enjoying the feeling of being filled, Cardia rocked her hips slowly, just enough to draw out the last fleeting tremors that ran through her, but not enough for what Lupin needed. Riding high from what she'd just experienced, Cardia felt wonderful, clear-headed, and absolutely victorious to have her gentleman thief for once visibly undone. It was a sight so long desired, she couldnât help but crave more.
Cardia smoothed her hands over her husband's chest and smiled.
"I could take a turn on top," he offered, his tone too desperate to be altruistic. "You must be tired after that."
"Not at all. To be quite honest, I feel like I could do this all night."
She drew herself up, then back down over him, increasing her pace ever so slightly each time in demonstration of how easy it was for her.
"Oh god," Lupin said faintly, his hips starting to tremble beneath her.
"If it's too much for you though, I could stop?" She slowed her movements until she came to a halt and a look of panic flashed across his face.
âWhat? No! Why?â He pressed himself up against her, but Cardia held resolutely still, keeping his hips in place with hers. Taking a breath, Lupin schooled his features into the barest semblance of calm. "What I mean to say, of course, is that it's not too much at all. Seeing you like this is a gift beyond compare. Please continue."
His words were charming as always, but his knuckles were a telltale white as he gripped the headboard much too tight.
Slowly brushing back her hair that had tumbled over her shoulders, Cardia took her time before moving again. When she hit her stride, Lupin's throat bobbed as he swallowed down a sound of pleasure, and then on his next breath failed completely to reign in a low moan. He bit his lip, all his muscles taut, his hips rolling in time with hers. With his hands still fixed above his head, his hair falling into his face, he was by far the most undone mess that Cardia had ever seen.
So of course, it was the perfect time for her to stop and make an exaggerated show of rubbing the muscles of her thighs.
Cardia grinned in her best imitation of Lupin's own roguish smile. âI'm enjoying this very much. Aren't you?â
His eyes went wide as understanding dawned at last, shock and betrayal clear across his features.
âYouâre doing this on purpose."
Then he did something Cardia had never seen him do.
Jaw clenched, amber eyes narrowed, he glared at her.
"Cardia," he said, his voice low, "what's got into you tonight?"
She didn't flinch as she met his gaze and dropped her smile. "It's not so easy to be the one swept away, is it?"
He groaned, tipping his head back against the pillows. "Is that what this is about? We sorted that all out earlier!"
"We did!" she said, louder than she'd intended. "We did, and then we came home and you kissed me like you always do and I just⊠I just couldnât stand it!"
They glared at each other for an instant, but at that one small admission Cardia found herself unable to stem an outpouring of words and feelings so long contained.
"You rescued me from an eternity as a doll left abandoned on the shelf, taught me all I needed to survive and live in this world, and now you make me feel like⊠like I'm some puppet dancing in your hand!" She jabbed an accusing finger against his chest, his pale skin still flushed. "Ever since we met youâve held all the cards, and even now in our relationship you always take the lead. You kiss me until I'm undone so completely, while you're so perfect and controlled. Just once I want to make you feel like I do. Just once I want to know that youâre just as lost in me as I am in you. Otherwise itâs not fair!â
Having said her piece, she took a shaky breath to calm her swell of emotions, all twisted up and painfully human, and then slowly began to move on top of him again.
Lupin was silent for a moment, even as his breath came too loud and too quick. When he spoke again his voice was rough and unexpectedly quiet.
"Not fair? Quelle bĂȘtise." His grip on the headboard tightened, the fabric of the necktie still wrapped around his wrists. "What's not fair is what you do to me."
Cardia frowned, but kept her rhythm steady as she waited for him to continue.
"You drive me absolutely mad,â he said, his expression serious, all of his usual theatrics stripped away. âIs that what you want to hear? You must know it's true. And yes, I always take control of the situation, because I thought you liked that, and because if I didn't you'd know how weak I am to you."
He spoke with such honesty and conviction that Cardia felt her face grow hot. His usual affected tone was gone and he held her gaze unwaveringly.
"You're so beautiful, just looking at you drives me to distraction. I have all the words for any situation, but when I look at you and think of how incredible you are I feel entirely lost. How can I even begin to describe you?â
Heat building in her again, his adoring words drove Cardia to increase her pace, her hips moving atop his with growing abandon.
âEven now I'm doing you a disservice because, yes, you look like an absolute goddess riding me like this - nom de dieu - but what I'm most in awe of is you. All that you've learned and overcome as you carved out your place in this world - how can anyone measure up to that?"
She whimpered at this, fighting to keep her eyes fixed on his, even as her legs trembled and her breath came quick. Lupin swallowed hard, struggling to continue his words.
"And somehow I managed to steal your good sense away long enough for you to agree to marry me and it's all I can do to make sure you never realize youâve bound yourself to some jumped-up cutpurse from the gutter.â
Cardia gasped, as much to glimpse the insecurities that lay beneath his trademark confidence as from her own mounting sensations. Lupin made a noise deep in his throat, his eyes falling closed for a moment before meeting her gaze again.
âIs that what you want to hear?" he asked, his voice hoarse. "Because it's true. It's true and oh fuck I'm close please don't stop this time."
His words tumbled out, increasingly frantic, his hips pushing up to meet hers. Watching him come apart beneath her had her unravelling as well, her whole body burning up and needing more.
"If you slow down again, Cardia, I will quite honestly lose my goddamned mind. So please, if you love me at all, please don't stop."
She didn't want to stop any more than he did, but any reassurance she could give was washed away with her moans. His hands grasped the headboard, twisting against his bonds, all his muscles tense and straining.
âOh- Oh god, Cardia, please let me come, I'm so close, I'm-â
His voice broke off with a cry, his eyes falling closed, his hips pushing up wildly against hers, and that was all she saw before her own intensity peaked and they were both equally lost together.
When she came back to her senses, Cardia opened her eyes to the sight of Lupin watching her, his expression more vulnerable than she'd ever seen.
Cardia leaned into his touch for only a moment before pulling away, her eyes narrowing at the necktie that hung loosely from the carved wood of the headboard.
"How did you-" she began, but reformulated her question as she remembered just who she was speaking to. "How long have you been free?"
He made no response, but his apologetic smile told her all she needed to know. Cardia huffed.
"Next time I'll⊠well, I'll blindfold you as well and let's just see you get your hands free then!" He carefully avoided her gaze, and Cardia gave a resigned sigh. "That wouldn't stop you one bit, would it?"
"Not at all," he admitted slowly. "Although I find myself surprisingly not averse to being the recipient of your affections while in such a position."
He frowned, his eyebrows drawing together as he mulled over this realization. Cardia tilted her head and considered her husband in turn, his dark hair tousled, lithe body languid and pliant against the pillows, his face and chest still mottled with the remnants of the scarlet flush that had adorned his skin as she'd had her way with him.
Leaning down to brush a kiss against his lips, Cardia found that she was, in fact, also quite receptive to the thought of having the great thief ArsĂšne Lupin bound and blindfolded in her bed.
Experimenting with writing something different than usual - this piece is bittersweet rather than fluffy or smutty.
Il's route felt in need of an epilogue, but from the general mood and a particular unresolved issue, it didn't seem like there would be an easy story after.
"There's no rush," Kotone had told him. "Take the time you need to heal."
And Il took his time indeed.
It was slow work, piecing a soul back together. At first there were long pauses, confused blank spaces, interminable stretches that passed in a blur of foggy memories and fleeting recollections of feelings. It was an arduous, winding route to get back to even the faintest semblance of what had once been normal, with some good days and many bad.
Kotone said a recovery took determination and resolve. She said it took patience and love. And most of all, she said, it took time.
It took quite a lot of time.
But for someone who had already lived a thousand years, what was more time?
"Yes," replied Il. Seated across from her, he summoned up the process to make a smile. It came quick by then, the expression and its meaning now familiar. He summed up the day's sales, mental arithmetic coming to him as easy as ever. "Business was good today."
Kotone shook her head. "I meant for you. Today was a good day for you." She looked at him, her voice quiet. "You've had a lot of those lately."
Had he? He cast back in his memories, still so twisted up, and found that the latest string of sequential time periods did indeed average out to a positive estimation of progress.
"Study hard for your exams!" Kotone called after him. "You'll need good marks to get into a good university!"
"You sound like my mom," said Kariya, before the door closed behind him.
This seemed an unusual thing to say. Il couldn't recall ever meeting Kariya's mother, but he found it improbable that Kotone sounded anything like her.
"That boy," Kotone said, shaking her head. "Although he's not really a boy anymore, is he? Hard to believe he'll be graduating in just a few months."
Her mouth smiled, but the corners of her eyes didn't move as they should. Il still found her expressions difficult to process at times. In this case, it was like one part of her was happy, but not the whole. Had he ever understood it, even before the incident? He didn't know; the memories of his time before were still wispy and uncertain.
He searched his mind for anything to help determine the correct protocol for the situation, but his inquiry returned blank. Kotone ducked her head, blinking rapidly, and took out a cutting board from behind the counter.
"Are you hungry?" she asked, keeping her gaze averted. "I bought some good apples from the store. The kind that even Kariya likes."
Without waiting for a response, she grabbed a bright red apple along with a knife. Slicing in silence, her eyes were downcast, the sharp edge of the knife glinting as her hands shook slightly.
"Do you think he'll visit often, even after he graduates? He's doing so well now, he hardly even needs to visit Medio anymo-"
Her voice broke off with a gasp, the knife clattering to the counter as a slash of red appeared across her finger. Il stood, his heart suddenly racing. Without registering his actions, he made his way around the counter to her side, took her hand in his own, and sang a few brief notes, calling down a shimmer of golden light.
"I'm so silly," Kotone said, using the back of her uninjured hand to dab at her eyes, "getting distracted over something like this. Moving on, going to university... It's perfectly normal, after all."
Il felt his face frown, his eyebrows drawing together.
"What's normal?" he asked. The light from his magic faded and the last of her cut sealed itself up, but still her eyes were bright and wet. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing." She gave a sniffle and passed a hand across her eyes again before her mouth shifted into a smile. "Nothing's wrong. Things like this are just a part of life."
She placed her now-healed hand against his face and looked up into his eyes. Her touch was warm, her fingers soft against his skin.
"Would you like to play a game together tonight, Il?" She swallowed and her eyes flicked away, before looking back. "I think I'd like that very much."
"Yes," he said, even as his mind struggled to jump from the old topic to the new. Kotone did this often, he knew, moving from one subject to another entirely different, with no logical link between. It made conversations terribly difficult to analyze.
Kotone had said his room was as he'd left it, that she hadn't been able to bring herself to empty it after what had happened. She'd spent countless afternoons with him, holding up figures, pins, and illustrations, asking what he remembered. At times this produced flickers of images in his mind, a sudden flash of something that slipped away just as he reached for it. But Kotone often smiled when they sat together in the room full of meaningless, colourful items, so he settled onto the couch and waited for her to do the same. She picked up a small device with a screen and sat beside him, tucking her legs under herself and leaning against him as she pressed its buttons.
The story on the screen was familiar, but Il couldn't determine whether they had viewed it before or just one like it. Kotone leaned heavier against him as the scenes went on, until one of his wings ached so much he had to adjust his position to accommodate her. His hand brushed hers and she grasped it gently, smiling up at him before returning her attention to the screen.
"How sweet," she murmured at one point, even though they werenât eating anything.
Then the usual structure of the screen with its characters and text gave way to a static image of just two people - bodies pressed close, arms wrapped around each other, one character's head tilted up towards the other, their lips pressed together. Il's chest tightened.
Kotone looked up at him then, their faces close as her eyes grew half-lidded and her lips parted. The tightness in his chest twinged in a way that almost hurt, even though he was certain he was physically fine. Kotone watched him, waiting, her gaze holding his. Without fully understanding his actions, he tipped forward to bring his mouth to hers, a parallel to what was on the screen.
His whole world lit up. The connections in his mind fired bright at the gentle press of his lips to hers, a rush of clarity flooding through him.
"Kotone," he said, his memories suddenly stretching back to all they'd shared, a brief flash of perfect recollection.
She smiled at him then, a true, genuine smile, before the light in his eyes began to dull again, her face falling with it. Kotone watched him for a moment more, then gave a little sigh and settled her head against his shoulder, her gaze moving back to the screen.
Il blinked, a foggy veil falling back across his consciousness, even as another fragment of his soul stitched itself back together.
---
"That took longer to bake than I'd thought," Kotone said, brow creased, jaw tight as she quickly transferred the cake from its pan to a plastic container.Â
Panic, thought Il, finally identifying her expression as he watched her. She looked panicked.
"I hope Titania won't mind that we're late. Canus certainly won't." Her mouth pulled down into a grimace. "But I know Vennia will have something to say about it. And - oh! - how did I forget to put the eggs back in the fridge?"
She made to grab for the carton, but in her haste her hand only glanced across the side of the packaging, sending it tumbling down onto the floor, the eggs falling free and landing in a splat.
Il stared down at the broken eggs as Kotone made a noise of frustration and rushed to clean them up. It had all happened so suddenly, Il thought - eggs one moment, mess of fragile shells and yolks the next.
When she was done wiping down the floor, Kotone gathered several thermoses into a bag and held it out to him. "Can you carry this, Il?"
"Greetings Kotone, Il," said the armour, giving them a slight bow.
"Sorry we're late, Canus," Kotone said, and her words rattled through Il's mind. Of course the armour was Canus - how had he ever forgotten? "Can you take the bag from Il? There's quite a bit of coffee - it might be too heavy for him."
Her words sent a pulse through him, and as Canus reached out, Il stepped back, clutching the thermoses tight. "I can carry it," he said.
Canus paused, and Kotone's eyes widened, her mouth falling open slightly. They both watched him in silence, the moment stretching on.
"I can carry it," he said again, in case they hadn't heard.
Kotone glanced at Canus, a smile spreading across her face. The fire beneath Canus's armour turned green.
"Of course you can, Il," Kotone said softly. "Thatâs very helpful. Thank you."
Uncertain what response to give, he simply followed her through the door, then trailed behind Canus as he directed them through the blue-green world they passed into. They walked for a long while, but even as his arms ached from carrying his burden, Il followed along without a word.
Kotone gave a curtsey to a young girl seated on a tangle of vines. "It's been too long, your majesty."
"Now really, Kotone," said the girl. "There's no need to stand on ceremony."
"Thank you, Titania.â Kotone smiled at her, and then laid out their lunch across the grass and wildflowers.
Once the cake had been cut and distributed and the coffee dispensed between them, Kotone added a generous helping of flower nectar to Il's cup, stirring it for him. It occurred to him that he could have done all that for himself - he could have poured her coffee as well! - but Kotone had already turned back to Titania and the chance was gone.
Kotone and Titania talked so much and about so many things that Il could hardly keep up. So he just ate his cake, drank his sweet coffee, and listened.
They spoke about someone named Vennia.
"The same as always, of course," Titania said with a wave of her hand.
They spoke about Canus.
"Everyone in the neighbourhood just adores him," Kotone told Titania, and from her expression this appeared to please the other girl greatly.
Il frowned at this, searching back in his mind. How long had it been since he'd seen Kariya? But the conversation flowed on, never stopping long enough for him to catch up. Kotone and Titania spoke about whatever they liked, flitting from one topic to the next, and left Il to sip at his now-cold coffee in silence.
"Before I forget," said Kotone, reaching for her pack and emptying its contents across the grass, "I brought you more books."
"No more fantasy this time, I hope." Titania wrinkled her nose. "Human stories about magic are so⊠quaint."
"A few more mysteries, actually, and adventure novels too. I think you'll like this one most." Rifling through the pile of books, she held out one volume in particular. "It's about a girl who travels the world as an explorer, discovering new places and people. I couldn't put it down."
Titania accepted the book gracefully. "That sounds wonderful. I love stories that let you travel like that. I know it's fiction, but it feels so real. If I were fr-" She coughed delicately. "If I were someone else, I would travel all the worlds I could, forever. These books are the only way I'll ever get to do that." She set down her cup and looked at Kotone. "What about you? You've brought me so many books over the years - what draws you to them?"
Kotone took a bite of cake and considered the question. "I guess for similar reasons as you. Although, maybe it's not exactly the same." Pausing to top up everyone's cups, she explained slowly, "I've heard it said that a reader lives a thousand lives. Maybe it's different for fairies, but for a human who won't live centuries, I have to admit that's a nice thought."
Titania took a sip of her drink, pinky finger extended, and glanced away. "I never thought about it like that, but I do understand what you mean."
Their voices were soft, but it hardly mattered; Il's ears were still ringing with Kotone's words. His heart rate increased unpleasantly and a twisting sensation deep in his chest made it almost hard to breathe. He frowned into his coffee drowned with flower nectar and tried to analyze the rush of feeling washing over him, its intensity rare in the time since his soul had shattered into pieces.
Oh, he thought, identifying the emotion at last. Panic.
---
The worst part about slowly regaining emotions, Il decided, was that they werenât always the kind that came from watching Kotone smile when he did something good. There was anger - at others when they caused Kotone trouble, or even worse, at himself when he was the one at fault. There was sadness - or at least something like it, falling over him as he tried to sleep, missing the presence of others as he lay all alone in the dark. And worst of all, there was a sick knot of tension that settled more and more often in his stomach as he thought about the future.
"I think that's worry, or maybe dread," Ignis said when Il described the sensation. "What've you got to be worried about? You're living the carefree hermit life as always."
In some ways he was right, but as Il's mind emerged more and more from its haze, he couldn't keep back the uncomfortable, persistent feeling. On days when his thoughts were clear, even something as simple as helping Kotone with the dishes was plagued by the sensation.
The way she smiled up at him sent a shiver of happiness through him, the feeling strong enough to push down the tangle of complicated emotions that nagged at him.
Basking in her praise and presence, Il began to dry a new cup as Kotone continued, "Did you see the flowers Kariya sent me? What a sweetheart. I hope his new job at the GPM is treating him well."
Kariya? A job? But he had only recently started university, hadnât he? The knot of tension rushed back with roaring intensity, slamming into him so hard the cup slipped from his fingers and smashed to the floor.
Kotone jumped, startled, but Il just stared wide-eyed at the broken pieces.
Recovering herself, Kotone gave his arm a comforting squeeze. "Oh Il, don't be sad. It's alright. We can just buy another one to replace it."
"No we can't!" he burst out, his voice too loud. "There aren't any others like it!"
As his soul knitted itself back together, clarity of mind returning with it, Il's newfound heart and depth of emotion remained troubled by certain understandings. His memories from before the incident firmed into focus until he could recall them with perfect ease, but even after hours of sifting through them, he found nothing of use.
At a loss for what else to do, he summoned Solitus and tried to reign in his growing distress long enough to articulate his thoughts and fears.
Solitus simply looked at him, his expression stoic. "There was only one being who could create angels, and he no longer exists."
"But surely there must be some way-"
"There is not," he said with finality. "Or at least, nothing that would not leave her transformed in some terrible and unforeseen way."
"It doesn't work that way, Il," he said. "You can't stop the flow of time for one person forever without consequences."
Il pleaded with him, promising whatever help he could - his magic, his immortality, his soul again even - until finally Misyr just led him out into the garden. Stopping in front of a rosebush in full bloom, Misyr pulled at the threads of magic in the air, passing his hands over the flowers.
They exploded into dust beneath his fingers.
With a heavy heart, Il bid farewell to his friend and retreated to his room in despair. He started up an otome game, but reading a trite story about the easy happiness of others just left him even more heart-sick and wretched. After what felt like an interminable number of hours, Kotone knocked at his door.Â
"There you are, Il," she said, poking her head into the room with a smile, a book tucked under her arm. "Mind if I join you?"
He tried to return her expression even as he wallowed in his internal misery, but she just curled against him on the couch, burrowing herself into the feathers of his wings. When at last she was comfortable, she took the marker from her book, her fingers smoothing over it before she held it out to him.
"Have I shown you this yet?" she asked. "I made it with the latest gift of flowers from Kariya. He sends them so often, but Iâd never thought to do this before. It turned out well, I think."
The bookmark was simple and terrifying; the dried flowers trapped forever in wax paper, pressed flat, their splendour faded, only an after-image of what they once were.
Kotone smiled up at him, awaiting his response, the expression pulling at the corners of her eyes, creasing her skin.
"It's beautiful," said Il, his voice thick.
---
"I can't get over how gorgeous Kariya's wedding was," Kotone said, sighing in contentment. "But I'm glad we're back home now. Parties in Medio are too much for me."
Snuggled close together in his hammock, Il had to agree. It had been a moving ceremony and a chance to have everyone gathered together to celebrate a joyous occasion. But it had also been long and tiring, and when he and Kotone had passed back through the gate it had only taken a shared glance of understanding before they made their way to the quiet sanctuary of his room to relax together.
"I should get back to my room and go to sleep though," she said, shifting in his arms and stifling a yawn. "Tomorrow's a big day for you."
Il frowned and searched his mind for her meaning. Had he forgotten something again? It seemed unlikely - he'd been well and recovered in mind, heart, and soul for a while now. And yet, as Kotone looked at him expectantly, all he could draw was a blank.
"It's your birthday," she said at last.
He tried to smile, if only because she seemed to expect it, but the expression felt false so it slipped from his face too soon.
She watched him, brow furrowing, the hint of a line between growing deeper, and asked, "What's wrong?"
He shook his head at first, but when she only continued to watch him with her usual kind patience he felt as though he had to at least try to explain.
"The only reason I have a birthday is because Souan said I needed one. It's not my actual creation date. I understand that humans use the event to mark the passage of time in their lives-" His voice broke and he scrambled to continue before he could think too much on his words. "But to me, time will and always has been an eternity. There's no reason to treat tomorrow differently from any other day."
Kotone pursed her lips in thought. "Well, it's your birthday so you can think of it as you like," she said. "But when time is an eternity, doesn't that make it even more important to mark the passage of it? To take the moment to celebrate with those who are there with you, and form happy memories together while you can?"
With his throat suddenly tight, his eyes prickling, Il was at a loss for how to respond. So he just gathered her up in his arms and held her gently to him, like the irreplaceably precious person she was.
She wrapped her arms around him as well, her hands threading into the feathers of his wings. Her touch sent a shimmer of sensation up his spine, but before he could make sense of it she looked up at him again and spoke.
"I already have a present for you that I hope you'll like, but was there anything in particular you wanted?"
"You," he said, the word slipping out with too quick honesty.
Kotone blushed fiercely, ducking her head and avoiding his eyes.
"You already have me," she murmured, her face hidden against his chest.
But he didn't. Not really. Not forever.
She was soft in his arms, her party dress baring her back and shoulders, and he wondered if perhaps it was the fairy wine they'd consumed at the wedding that made them both so very warm. Il ran his hands over her skin, feeling the shiver his touch sent through her, and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. She looked up at him, still a little flushed, so close he could see the faint lines at the edges of her eyes. Had they always been there? It didn't matter; he placed a gentle kiss to them and she broke into a smile.
He wasn't certain who moved first then - maybe they both did - but as their lips met, he closed his eyes and held her tightly to him.
He'd kissed her many times over the years, the action always kindling a light in the furthest reaches of his broken soul, but never like this. With his heart and mind fully intact, the flashes of insight and healing turned to something new: a strange heat that radiated through him, all the way to the tips of his wings.
"Stay," he whispered. "Stay with me tonight."
He had a faint understanding of what he was asking, gleaned from suggestive scenes in games and overheard snippets of hushed conversations, but that wasn't the only reason he wanted her to stay.
He wanted her to stay because he cared for her every bit as much as she clearly cared for him, all the long years of his recovery. Because she was perfect no matter how many years went on and he wanted to commit her to memory at every stage. Because he couldn't bear to be alone on the eve of yet another meaningless birthday as her own time ticked ever onwards.
But most of all, he just wanted her to stay because he loved her.
She swallowed hard, her eyes bright. "Yes," she said, and then she kissed him again in earnest.
She buried her hands in his wings as she did, stroking his feathers in a way he felt down to his toes. He brushed his hands over her skin, pushing away her dress so he could feel more of her, letting her guide him as he did and helping her do the same to him in turn.
He gasped as her hand closed around him and moved like he'd sometimes done late at night while lying alone, hot and confused by his thoughts and feelings. Only it felt all different, because it was her, all the connections in his soul firing bright and joyous. She showed him how to do the same to her, until she trembled and shook and made little noises that were more divine than any angelic song he'd ever hear. And as the night wore on, they pressed themselves together, joined as close as they could possibly be, the hammock swaying gently with their movements.
He was sleepy after, warm and content, and held her so close he could feel her heartbeat, so tight he believed then that she'd never slip away.
The next morning he woke slowly to the most wonderful feeling of her in his arms, snuggling closer as the light filtered in through the curtains. She brushed gentle kisses across his collarbone, her hands drifting over his wings.
"Happy birthday, Il," she said softly, smiling up at him in a way that convinced him it was a very happy occasion indeed. "Let me get your present - you can open it now."
He helped her down, waited until she returned with a carefully wrapped gift, and then flew them both back up to nestle comfortably again in the hammock, the present between them.
"Open it," she said, smiling wide in encouragement as he unwrapped the paper and revealed what was inside.
Flipping it open, the pages were heavy with photos. Not just of them together - although there were many - but of all the people who shared their life, at all stages. There were pictures of Il in the early years of his recovery, the light gone from his eyes even as Ignis gave a thumbs up in the background and Misyr gave him bunny ears. There were pictures of Kotone serving coffee to everyone imaginable, from a beaming Epilogi to Vennia levelling a disapproving glare at the camera. There were pictures of Canus in the garden, of Mikado spilling coffee on his lab coat, of Rindo helping Kariya tie a tie. And alongside every photo, there were descriptions of each scene, the people in them, and other personal messages, all written in the margins in Kotone's own unmistakable hand.
Il bit his lip and blinked, but still the images wavered in his eyes.
"Do you like it?" Kotone asked, curled in beside him.
"I love it," he said honestly. "Thank you. It's just-" His voice broke off, and he had to swallow before continuing, "It's just that it's all going by so fast."
"Of course it is," she said, the corners of her eyes crinkling as she smiled. "And there's nothing we can do except make the most of it."
She kissed him softly and he held her against him, his wings folding tight around them, keeping her safe, happy, and close - if not forever, then at least for now.
Summary: Misyr and Kotone are interrupted by Il, and they all proceed to have a good time together. Ilâs first experience and Misyrâs first threesome.

Firsts - Il - First experience & Misyr - First threesome
Yes, Kotone decided as Misyr left a trail of licks and bites along her neck, their arrangement was very much working for her.
Lying back on her bed with the demon king above her, both of them divested of their clothing, she wrapped her legs around him and ground herself wantonly against his cock.
Misyr laughed, his breath hot against her skin. "You're that wet already? Although, after how good I gave it to you last time, I'm not surprised you're this eager for me to fu-"
His voice broke off at a soft knock on the door.
Kotone froze, desperately trying to remember if she'd locked it. Her answer came almost immediately as the door opened and Il strolled in, cheerfully oblivious to the scene in front of him.
"Kotone, have you finished with that game ye- oh, hello Misyr," he said without missing a beat.
Misyr sighed, looked up from Kotone's neck, and flashed his friend a decidedly weary grin. "Hello, Il."
Il refocused on Kotone and continued, "I was just looking for the game I lent you."
She briefly considered attempting to cover herself up, but it was too late - there was no hiding what they were doing. "Maybe you could come back later?" she suggested.
Il smiled serenely. "Of course, if you think that would be best."
Kotone gave him a strained smile in return and waited for him to leave. Il took a step towards the door, paused, and turned back towards them. He tilted his head, still seemingly unperturbed by his friends' nakedness. "I didn't realize the two of you had started dating."
Kotone and Misyr exchanged an awkward glance.
"We're not-" said Kotone at the same time as Misyr started, "It's not exactly-"
They both broke off. As the ensuing silence stretched on, Kotone gave Misyr a pointed look and nodded towards their friend.
"We're not dating, Il," Misyr said at last. "And could you close the door for now?"
Il obliged and then took a curious step towards them. "So you're not dating, but you're naked in bed together?" When they both nodded, Il chewed at his lip, considering. "Are you having sex?"
"Not yet," Misyr said with a grin, "but we will soon."
Kotone elbowed him sharply in the ribs.
"Look, Il," she said, feeling like she was committing some unforgivable sin by even talking about this subject around him. "Sometimes people do things like this even if they're not dating. It can be purely physical."
"So you don't love each other?"
Kotone bit back a groan and resisted looking at Misyr. Just kill her now. "Sex and love don't necessarily go hand in hand," she explained, somehow managing the patience of a saint. "You can have one without the other."
Il's eyebrows drew together as he clearly struggled with this new information.
Before Kotone could find another way to explain, Misyr tried his luck. âYou know how I say that anyone can brew a cup of coffee, but it tastes better when someone else brews it for you?â Il nodded. âWell,â continued Misyr, âitâs pretty much the same thing with this.â
âI see,â said Il, his brow furrowing deeper. âAnd what does coffee have to do with sex?â
Misyr sighed. "You know what? Nevermind." He ran a hand through his hair and recovered something of his usual confidence. "Do you want to join us?"
"What," said Kotone.
With a raise of an eyebrow, Misyr asked, "Are you really going to turn down the chance to be the first human woman to have a threesome with a literal angel and demon?"
Kotone really couldn't say anything to that, so Misyr turned his attention back to Il and patted the edge of the bed enticingly. Il took a step forward.
"Wait a minute," Kotone said quickly, pushing Misyr away and sitting up. "Il, are you sure you want to do this? Donât feel like you have to just because he asked."
Il nodded. "Please don't be concerned. I have registered your explanation and now understand that even without being romantically in love, it is still acceptable to have sex." He beamed blindingly at them. "Of course, as my dearest friends, please know that I do in fact love you both deeply."
Kotone's heart melted, while Misyr just shook his head. "You're something else, Il,â he said with a grin. âNow if no one has any further objections, why don't you start by getting out of your clothes?" Il made to remove his clothing when Misyr spoke up again, "Ah, you'll want to be in your original form. Trust me on this."
Kotone nodded in agreement, thinking back to one of their first times together, when Misyr's attempts to stay human had resulted in the sudden reappearance of his horns at a very inopportune time.
The air shimmered lightly around him as Il shifted into his angelic form and undressed. Fully unclothed, he stood before them with no hint of shame. Kotone couldn't help but stare. While Misyr was devastatingly attractive in an overtly seductive sort of way, Il was just⊠beautiful. Wings fanning out around him, his form was slim, his skin smooth and flawless. His body radiated perfection in a way that put her in mind of a sculpture carved from marble. Although, she thought as her gaze dipped lower, a certain part of his figure would cause a definite stir at any museum.
"Is my form pleasing to you, Kotone?"
Warmth rushed to her face and she glanced away, embarrassed to have been caught looking at him so openly. Unfortunately, her gaze landed on Misyr, just as naked, and very much smirking at her misfortune.
"Are you really going to leave him hanging, Kotone?"
With a quick glare at Misyr, Kotone pushed down a flutter of butterflies in her stomach and looked back at Il. "Yes, Il, you're gorgeous."
His whole face lit up with joy and he settled gracefully beside her on the bed. "I'm so glad to hear that. I find you pleasing as well."
Despite his flattering words, Kotone was still vaguely aware it might end up a poor idea to sleep with two good friends who happened to be regular customers. However, being sandwiched naked on her small bed between a handsome demon king and a beautiful angel left her decision-making skills sorely impaired.
She glanced at Misyr. "Since you're so experienced, what do we do now?"
Misyr laughed like this was the most entertaining thing he'd ever heard. "Me? Experienced? I've never done this with three people before. Just what kind of lifestyle do you imagine this demon king leads?"
Kotone narrowed her eyes at him before turning back towards Il. "What would you like to do?"
"I have no idea how to even get started," he admitted, his cheerful smile growing slightly sheepish.
Before Kotone could investigate just how deep Il's ignorance of sex ran, Misyr cut in. "Why don't you start by touching her?"
Il's eyes widened and Kotone's heartbeat was suddenly loud in her ears as Misyr gently maneuvered her to lie back against the bed.
"W-where-" Il cleared his throat as his voice broke adorably. "Where do I touch her?"
"That's a question for Kotone, isn't it?" Misyr looked down at her, the points of his canines giving his smile a dangerous quality. "Where would you like to be touched, Kotone?"
Lying naked as two unbelievably attractive men gazed down at her filled her with a certain daring. Arching her back, Kotone looked up at them through her lashes. âWherever you like.â
Misyr raised his eyebrows, and Ilâs throat bobbed as he swallowed hard. Hesitantly, he reached out to touch her cheek. The brush of his fingers against her skin was feather-light, his touch gentle as he stroked down to her jaw and then across her lips. Kotone parted her lips invitingly, tongue flicking out to lick at him. Il stared, his mouth falling open slightly.
âWe can stop anytime you want,â she reminded him, placing a soft kiss to the tips of his fingers. âIf at any point you donât feel comfortable, let us know immediately.â
Il squirmed, his breath coming a little faster than usual. âIt's not a matter of being uncomfortable⊠Well I am somewhat, but it's becauseâŠ"
Biting his lip, he fidgeted slightly and glanced down at his lap. Kotone's gaze followed his and she gained a sudden, flattering understanding of just what was causing him discomfort.
Wanting very much to help him with his increasingly prominent problem but fully aware of the need for him to explore at his own pace, Kotone tried for a calming, steady tone. "You can keep touching me - lower too, if you'd like," she offered, hoping she didn't sound too eager.
Il sat perfectly still, as though trying to process exactly what her invitation entailed.
"Like this," said Misyr. He trailed a hand across her collarbone in demonstration, then down to her breasts, making her breath catch as his fingertips glanced over the peak of a nipple. "Or like this." With a mischievous gleam in his eyes, he pinched sharply at the same nipple. Kotone gasped as the sudden sensation sent a spark through her.
Ilâs hand wavered over her chest, his expression tense and full of uncertainty. He looked at her as though seeking permission and Kotone's heart all but melted at his constant sweetness. With an indulgent smile, she nodded at him. "Go ahead, touch me wherever and however you'd like."
He gave a barely audible whimper at her words and brought his hand to cup her breast, cradling it like something precious. His fingers played softly across her nipples, exploring her with a look of wonder on his face. Even as he grew more sure of his caresses, his touch stayed maddeningly light. Kotone was certain he didn't mean to be such a tease, so she didn't object, just pressed her thighs together and tried unsuccessfully to suppress her shivers.
Well-versed in her reactions, Misyr laughed. "Seems like she wants you to touch her somewhere else, Il." Nudging her legs apart, his voice took on a tone that was too commanding to ignore. "Show him."
Certain she was blushing hard under the watchful eyes of both men, Kotone spread her legs wider. Using one hand to part her folds, she tapped lightly at her clit. "Right here," she said, her body already responding to her own touch. "Like this."Â
Il's mouth fell open at the sight, the slightest moan falling from his lips. Emboldened by this reaction, Kotone slid her fingers lower, dipping inside with ease as she found herself soaking wet. "Or like this," she said, fingering herself slowly while rubbing at her clit with her other hand.
"Preferably both at the same time," Misyr offered helpfully.
Il whispered something that sounded like a prayer, and then reached out to touch her with a trembling hand.
His fingers were impossibly soft, his touch halting and cautious. Kotone brought her hands up to her breasts, kneading at them as he explored. While his caresses were hesitant and inexperienced, watching his perfect skin flush pink was a treat in its own right.
Learning her slowly, Il's touch gradually moved to her entrance. As he eased two slender fingers into her, he shivered down to the tips of his wings. He watched raptly as his fingers slid into her warmth, only to emerge wet.
"Yeah, that's it," said Misyr, his eyes half-lidded as he watched his friend finger his lover. "Keep that up and you'll have her losing it soon."
"Losing it?" Il asked breathlessly, seemingly unable to tear his eyes from the sight before him.
"Touch her here too," Misyr said, pointing to her clit, "and you'll find out soon enough."
Biting his lip, Il shifted his hand so he could rub at her clit with his thumb as he worked his fingers in and out. Despite his inexperienced touch, the undeniable eroticism of having both men watch her with such desire was enough to leave Kotone trembling.
"You should know I'm intensely jealous of you, Il," Misyr said, glancing down mournfully at his talons. "While I might be an all-powerful demon king, some things are just too distracting to do while maintaining a human form."
Il's face was the picture of concentration. "This is admittedly quite difficult."
"I can help, if you'd like."
Il just nodded, his hand shifting to focus on fingering her. Careful of his talons, Misyr reached out and pressed the pad of his thumb to her clit, rubbing gently.
"Do you like this, Kotone?" he asked with a mischievous smirk. "Is it making you want more?"
Not trusting her words, Kotone could only whimper in response.
Misyr's smile grew wider and more wicked. "Do you want one of us to fuck you?" His voice dropped low, as though entrusting her with a secret. "Or you could have us both. One after the other, or both at the same time."
With his thumb still working at her, he dipped his head to lick at her nipples. Kotone cried out at the sudden sensation. Beside her, Il drew in a shaky breath, clearly affected by all he was witnessing.
Undeterred by either of his increasingly overwhelmed partners, Misyr continued mercilessly, "You already know I can wreck you like no one else, but maybe you're in the mood for something more gentle? I'm sure you could give Il a memorable first time."
Il's breath came in quick, sharp inhales, his slender frame taut and shaking as his fingers worked at Kotone. His gorgeously formed cock stood fully at attention, liquid beading at the tip. Unable to stop herself, Kotone rolled her hips against the touches of the two men.
Misyr held her gaze, an almost cruel gleam in his green eyes. "Or maybe you'd rather watch the two of us? Get yourself off as we explore our friendship to a⊠deeper degree?" Kotone gasped at the thought, and Misyr grinned knowingly. "You like that, do you? Tell us what you need. It's anything you want, as long as Il's up for it too."
Kotone had no words but moans to express that getting fingered by an angel while being dirty talked by a demon king already far exceeded any of her fantasies.Â
Misyr glanced between Kotone and Il and laughed softly. âLook at you both - youâre too cute. Our adorable owner is so close she's trembling, and Il⊠You do know you can touch yourself while you do this, right? Like this."
He brought a hand to his cock in demonstration, stroking himself firmly even as he continued to rub Kotone just as she liked. Kotone's breath caught in her throat, the heat in her belly sparking hotter as the devilishly attractive demon lord worked himself in time with the flicks of his thumb across her clit.
With a shaking hand, Il wrapped his fingers lightly around his own cock. He gave a few experimental pumps before settling into a rhythm that matched the one of his other hand, his fingers delving deep into Kotone's core.
Having both men stroke themselves as they touched her was already enough for Kotone, but then Il let out a soft gasp of pleasure just as Misyr increased his pace with a groan and it was all too much. With her thighs clenching together and her eyes squeezing shut, Kotone cried out as her orgasm slammed into her. Her hips bucked hard against the hands of both men, the muscles of her core tight around Il's fingers as Misyr's thumb flicked relentlessly over her clit. When at last she grew suddenly too sensitive, she pushed them both away, gasping for breath as her body remained wracked with tremors.
Misyr laughed a little breathlessly, his hand still working his cock. "That was the hottest thing I've ever seen." His grip loosened, his pace slowing as the muscles of his thighs and abs tensed and strained. "Ah, fuck, I'm already close after watching you do thatâŠ"
Kotone blinked slowly as she gradually regained her senses. Languidly, she watched Misyr for another moment before finally looking over at Il. The angel's hands were closed into fists on his lap, tension reverberating off of him as his wings fluttered uncontrollably. His cock still stood painfully hard, jutting dark against his pale skin.Â
"Il," Kotone said, her voice scratchy, "what's wrong?"
He squeezed his eyes shut and swallowed hard before looking at her, his gentle smile fragile. "N-nothing is wrong, Kotone. I simply, umâŠ" He took a deep breath, but it did little to steady him. "If I continue any more it will be⊠messy? That would cause trouble for you, and it would be embarrassing..."
His already pink skin somehow grew even more flushed as his words tumbled out. Kotone had an irresistible desire to coddle him until any sense of shame was wiped away, but Misyr cut in before she could follow through on her feelings.
"That's the whole point of this, II," he said, still stroking himself lightly. "I mean, Kotone just came all over your fingers and she's not embarrassed about it."
Kotone's face grew hot. Suddenly desperate to redirect the focus of the conversation, she rushed to fill the silence. "Please don't worry, Il. I'll be changing the sheets after this anyway. If it makes you feel better, you can help me with the laundry. For now though, would you like me to touch you?"
Il's eyes widened, his mouth falling open in a little 'o'.
"Or you could give him a blowjob," Misyr suggested, ignoring his friend's already shocked expression. "Make sure you swallow and that'll take care of any mess."
Kotone's face positively burned.
Il frowned. "What's a 'blowjob'?"
"It means she'll suck your cock until you come," Misyr said without hesitation, evidently enjoying keeping both of his partners reduced to blushing messes. "She's good at it, too."
Il shivered so violently a rain of feathers fell from his wings. "Y-yes," he said, his beautiful voice gone hoarse. "Yes, I want that. If Kotone is willing."
With her heart suddenly racing, a wave of warmth flooded her again. "I would love to go down on you, Il," she said with complete honesty.
Il blushed prettily and shifted awkwardly, his cock still standing tall.
Kotone patted the edge of the bed. "Sit here. Get comfortable."
He obliged, fidgeting as Misyr settled in beside him and Kotone moved to the floor.
"I'm learning so much today," Il said, his words too quick as he rambled nervously. "About you, Kotone. About sex. Otome games always gloss over the details. And I've never even seen a mention of blowjobs in them. I wonder why?"
Kotone smiled up at him as she got comfortable on her knees. "There's a lot those games leave out, Il," she said, running her hands up his thighs and leaving a delightful trail of goosebumps in her wake. "Not just about sex, but about relationships too. Don't worry though - there's no rush to learn. For now, just relax and enjoy."
She smiled up at him reassuringly. Il swallowed hard as he looked down at her, the rise and fall of his chest growing increasingly rapid. Managing to return her smile for only an instant, he glanced uncertainly at Misyr beside him.
"Should I do anything to you, Misyr?"Â
Misyr threw his head back and laughed. "That's a bit advanced for today, Il. I'll have Kotone help me out instead, if that's alright with her." He leveled his most charming grin at her. "Kotone, can I fuck you as you blow him?"
A spark of heat zipped up her spine at his words. Not trusting her voice, she simply nodded.
Misyr grinned and waved her onwards. "Go ahead and get started for now, if Il's ready. I want to watch for a bit."
He stroked himself lightly again, and the sight of it sent Kotone's pulse racing. Turning back to Il, she leaned forward and parted her lips as she looked up at him. "May I?"
Quivering with tension, his reply came as soft as a sigh. "Yes."
Ever so slowly, she lowered her mouth and licked at the very tip of his cock. A tremor ran through him and he choked back a noise, the feathers of his wings rustling. Taking it slow so as not to overwhelm him right from the start, she dusted kisses along his shaft, darting her tongue out to lick at his velvety soft skin.
He squirmed, wisps of blond hair falling over his shoulders as he gazed down at her. "Kotone," he panted out, "that feels divine."
"She's just getting started," Misyr said, his green eyes dark as he watched them, his hand working over himself at an increasing pace.
Emboldened by their words and reactions, Kotone licked her way back upwards. She teased her tongue along the tip of Il's cock, lapping up the salty beads of liquid that gathered there, until his breath came in short, rapid gasps and his hands held tight to the edge of the bed.
"K-Kotone..." he pleaded, biting his lip and looking down at her in desperation.
She blew lightly against the skin she'd just licked, smiling as he twitched at the sensation. "What do you need, Il?"
"I⊠I don't know. Everything is suddenly too warm and too much and I can hardly thinkâŠ" He paused, his lower lip trembling, and when he spoke again his voice was barely a whisper. "Please don't stop."
Kotone looked up at him, taking in his beautiful features, his eyes gone dark with passion, his perfect skin marred with a deep blush. Then, ever so slowly, she kept their gazes locked as she took him into her mouth. Il's entire body shivered in pleasure, right to the tips of his wings. His eyes falling closed, he parted his lips with a moan.
Beside them, Misyr groaned, drawing Kotone's gaze over to him even as she took Il further into her mouth. Misyr watched her, eyes half-lidded, his cock heavy in his hand.
"I can't wait anymore," he said, his voice almost a growl.
With that, he stood and moved behind her, pulling her up onto her hands and knees. He gripped her hips, his talons digging lightly into her skin as he positioned her as he liked. Kotone tried to push back eagerly as he brushed his cock temptingly against her, but he held her firmly in place as he nudged at her entrance.
"Fuck, Kotone, you're soaked. Should I be jealous that you're enjoying sucking Il off so much?"
She moaned in response, the vibrations of her throat causing Il to gasp. Misyr kept a tight hold on her hips, keeping her still as he sank into her, filling her up completely. He didn't give her long to adjust before he moved against her, angling himself just right so he hit against that spot inside her with each thrust. The rhythm of his hips pushed her to take Il deeper in her mouth, the angel's thighs already starting to shake.
"Good girl," Misyr purred, his voice low and dangerous. "You're taking us both so well. Does it turn you on to know how good you're making us feel?"
The insistent press of him inside her had Kotone's whole body firing hot, her sensations mounting too quickly as Misyr found his pace. Focusing her attention on Il, she licked the underside of his shaft as she hollowed her cheeks and sucked at him. Il whimpered, barely holding on.
One hand still grasping her hip, Misyr took hold of the back of Kotone's neck, applying just enough pressure to remind her who was in charge. "Make him come," he commanded. "Then I want him to watch as I fuck you. Show him how it's done, and maybe next time you can have us trade places."
Kotone closed her eyes and moaned desperately at the image his words conjured in her mind. The muscles of her core clenched tight, drawing a hiss from Misyr as he drove himself into her.
"How do you think he'd fuck you?" he asked, each snap of his hips pushing her mercilessly closer to the edge. "Do you think he'd be rough with you like I am? Or gentle even as you're choking on my cock?"
The thought of this alone was almost too much for Kotone - and was certainly too much for Il. With a frantic cry, his hips bucked up with urgency as he spilled himself in her mouth. Kotone swallowed him down as best she could, but the sound of Il's delicate voice lost in passion combined with the unrelenting rhythm of Misyr's hips sent her tumbling over the edge as well. Releasing Il from her mouth with a gasp, she pushed back hard against Misyr, reaching her peak as she took all that he gave her.
Misyr's grip tightened at the curve of her hip and the nape of her neck, his talons digging into her skin just enough to hurt, but Kotone was too lost to notice. The sound of skin against skin was loud as Misyr's thrusts became increasingly erratic, until at last he finished with a groan, his hips surging forward one final time.
The room was quiet and still except for the sound of their breathing, all three of them sated and spent. Il was the first to move, all but collapsing back on the bed, his wings strewing downy feathers across the sheets. Recovering himself somewhat, Misyr helped Kotone up to snuggle in next to Il, her legs too wobbly to manage on her own. Only when both of his partners were curled snugly against each other did Misyr climb exhausted onto the small bed as well, his dark hair falling in wild, disheveled curls around his horns.Â
Il settled a wing around the three of them like a makeshift blanket. "That was heavenly, Kotone," he said softly. "Thank you."
Kotone murmured something indiscernible in return, her mind still piecing itself back together. Misyr shifted her in his arms so she rested comfortably in the middle, her back to his chest, her head nestled against Il's shoulder. They all lay together in a tangle of limbs, perfectly warm and content.
Too blissed out for anything else, Kotone just blinked slowly at him. He smiled sweetly in return, perfectly oblivious to what he'd just suggested. Behind her, Misyr shook with silent laughter.
"I'm sure they would, Il," Kotone said at last, heaving a resigned sigh. This was just her life now. "I'm sure they would."
Il brightened at her words, some of his usual energy returning. "I can't wait to tell the others about this!"
Kotone cast a pleading glance back at Misyr.Â
Recovering from his stifled laughter, Misyr reached across to muss Ilâs hair. âIl,â he said, âthereâs one more thing you need to learn about today.â
Relaxing between the two men, Kotone half-heartedly listened as Misyr explained the concept of discretion.

Firsts - Rindo - First time in a new form
"Another night in," Rindo said with a sigh, turning on the stereo in his apartment's living room before uncorking a bottle of wine. By now perfectly dexterous with his non-human hands, he poured them each a generous glass. "I wish I could give you more than this. Dinner out, tickets to something nice, drinks after. Instead you get a bottle of cheap merlot I planned on regifting."
Kotone accepted her glass with a smile. "I don't want any of that. I just want you."
He settled down beside her on the couch, a wry grin on his face. "You really know what to say, don't you? To warm an old guy's heart."
She shot him an admonishing look. "Don't say that."
"It's true though." Holding the stem of his wine glass carefully with his claws, he ran his other hand through his hair, avoiding the ridges along his non-human side. "At least the company's good. And the music too." He tipped his head in the direction of the stereo. "I haven't heard this one in ages."
Kotone listened for a moment, nodding along with the beat of the song. "Yeah," she agreed. "I like this one. My parents had it on vinyl when I was a kid."
The human side of Rindo's mouth twisted into a pained grimace and Kotone instantly regretted her words.
"I didn't mean-" she started, but he waved away her apology.
"It's fine." He took a long sip of his drink, sighed, and looked at her seriously. "Listen Kotone, I know I've asked you this before, but are you sure this is what you want? I don't want you to end up regretting it."
"Kaoru," she said, keeping their gazes locked. "I'm perfectly capable of making my own decisions. Sometimes those decisions will lead to regrets - that's just part of life." Pausing, she took his wine glass from his clawed fingers and set both of their drinks on the coffee table. Taking his hands in hers, she continued slowly, "But I know I won't regret this."
He was still and silent, his eyes searching hers. His expression was too sad, too weary, too doubtful. Despite their mutual understanding and feelings for each other, he still had moments like this, as though he was convinced his new form made him unworthy of love and affection. Kotone squeezed his hands in hers, her heart falling as he gave her a smile that didn't reach his eyes. Seeing him like this wouldn't do at all.
Without a second thought, she leaned forward and kissed him.
He let her do it, responding well enough but making no effort to take the kiss further. It was always like this, Kotone reflected with dismay. It had been weeks now since they'd decided to move forward together and still it seemed as though he were holding himself back. He did perfectly well with flirtatious words, but regardless of which of them initiated their kisses, he always let the flames simmer out before things could get too heated. After all they'd been through and the feelings they'd shared, Kotone couldn't help but find his hesitation frustrating.
With renewed determination, she put her hands on his shoulders, pushed him down on the couch, and straddled him.
Rindo made a noise of surprise, which was quickly stifled as Kotone brought her mouth to his again. She licked at him, brushing her tongue against his when he parted his lips with a groan. Drinking him in, Kotone untucked his shirt from his trousers, unbuttoning it as she poured all her emotions into their kiss.
Making quick work of his shirt, her hands met his chest for the first time. He shivered at her touch, her palms sweeping across his skin, the texture changing where the ever-shifting borders of his human and non-human sides met.
Placing his hands on her hips, Rindo rocked up against her. Kotone smiled into their kiss at what she felt - despite the changes to his appearance, it seemed he was still just a man after all.
Breaking away, she sat up, biting her lip as she ground down against him. Rindo looked up at her, his eyes dark, shirt open, breathing hard. The edges of his non-human skin moved of their own accord, snaking black across his chest.
Already liking what she felt beneath her and eager for more, Kotone reached for his belt. Rindo made a strangled noise, his eyes going wide, and laid a hand over hers.
Kotone froze, a rush of cold awareness flooding through her. She wanted him, but they'd never explicitly spoken about the next steps in their relationship. He was, after all, an older man. Did he have more traditional expectations for who should take the lead? For how long they should wait? Would he be offended or put off by her directness? Trying to keep her rising internal panic from her face, Kotone wondered if she'd messed things up completely between them.
"I'm sorry," she said, suddenly regretting her actions. "Was that too forward? I should have asked first..."
Rindo swallowed, still looking up at her with wide eyes. "No, it's fine. It's just..." His voice trailed off and he paused to clear his throat. "It's my first time doing it like this."
Kotone frowned, drawing back in confusion. "First time with a woman on top?"
"What? No! Of course not." He gestured to one side of his face. "First time like this."
"Well, yes," she said. "I should hope so, considering we've been dating since then."
He gave her a long look and finally asked, "It doesn't bother you? How I look now."
She placed her hands on either side of his face - one on his familiar human features, the other on the too-smooth ridges of his non-human side. "Why would it bother me? You look like you."
He was silent, his eyes on hers as though searching for any sign of doubt.
"Does it bother you?" she asked.
"Sometimes," he admitted quietly. The guilt must have shown on Kotone's face, because he continued quickly, "I don't regret it though. Between dying a human or living like this, it's pretty clear which is the better option. As much as I might look in the mirror and not recognize myself, I'd much rather be alive." He paused, his expression softening. "Alive and with you."
He sat up, caressed her face - ever careful of his claws - and then kissed her again. When he drew back just enough to speak, his voice was warm and smoky. "Call me old-fashioned though, but I don't think our first time together should be on a couch."
"The couch is fine by me," she said without hesitation, still very much aware of the press of him between her thighs.
He laughed softly. "Well it's not fine by me. If I can't take you out to the nice places you deserve, at the very least I can do this properly."
With that, he scooped her up in his arms and rose from the couch in one smooth motion. Kotone gave an embarrassing yelp and threw her arms around his neck.
"One of the benefits of being a non-human," Rindo explained, holding her with ease.
Carrying her like a bride, his arms strong around her, he started in the direction of the bedroom. With his buttons undone, the collar of his shirt dipped low enough to reveal tempting skin. Unable to resist, Kotone leaned in and attacked the human side of his neck with kisses.
Rindo almost stumbled. âHey! Keep that on pause until we get to the bedroom.â
She laughed and bumped his jaw playfully with her nose. âNo fun.â
Maneuvering them through the bedroom door, he set her gently on the bed. Sinking down to his knees on the floor, he settled between her thighs and ran his hands along the curve of her hips.
"It's a shame I wasn't left with at least one human hand," he said. "I've always been told I'm good with my fingers."
Kotone laughed. "I'll take your word for it."
He grinned up at her, the edges of his transformed side giving his expression a dangerous quality. "You'll have to settle for my mouth instead."
"Such a shame," she lamented, undoing her jeans as fast as she possibly could.
She'd just managed to strip off her top and kick her jeans and panties away when Rindo bent his head to kiss the soft skin of her inner thighs. "Lie back," he said. "Human or not, let me show you what decades of experience can do."
Her heart leaping at his words, she sank back against the bed, spreading her legs for him.
He took his time though, trailing kisses along her thighs, getting teasingly close to her centre before finding some new patch of skin to lavish with attention. Each time he drew close, Kotone held her breath in anticipation, until at last he licked at her so softly she shivered.
A satisfied noise rumbled through him. "You taste good," he murmured, and leaned in for more.
He started gently at first, learning what made her gasp and press her hips closer. He teased his tongue along her folds, taking his time exploring before he nuzzled his nose against her clit and licked at her centre. Only when Kotone's soft sighs turned to moans, did he carefully use his claws to hold her open and enjoy her in earnest. He focused on her clit, sucking at it even as he deftly licked, driving her wild as the texture of his beard brushed across her sensitive core.
"I'm getting close," she panted out. "Come up here, I want you."
He laughed so low she could feel the vibrations. "You think you're getting off just once tonight? Younger guys clearly haven't treated you right." He gazed up at her and grinned wide and wicked. "We're not stopping until you come all over my face, and then again on my cock."
Kotone whimpered.
Rindo bent his head back to his task, eyes falling closed in pleasure as he enjoyed driving her mad. Kotone trembled, grasping frantically at the covers, feeling herself slipping away as he worked her clit with experience and dedication.
Her breath coming fast, her heartbeat loud in her ears, Kotone gasped out a warning. "I-I'm almost there." Hands twisting against the bed sheets, the muscles of her thighs shook and clenched. "You're going to make me come!"
Rindo made an encouraging sound low in his throat, and the rumble of it against her sent her spiralling out of control. Crying out, she rolled her hips against him, his mouth unrelenting as he worked her through her orgasm.
When at last Kotone opened her eyes again, her presence of mind just barely returning, Rindo rose from his knees and wiped his soaked face off with his sleeve. Shrugging out of his shirt, he let it drop to the ground without a second thought, his clawed hands moving to unbuckle his belt. Still a little overwhelmed, Kotone wriggled her way up to settle against the pillows as he knelt on the bed.Â
Fully unclothed, Rindo was a sight to behold. His non-human side moved in mesmerizing patterns, the curling tendrils reaching just low enough to meet the edge of his hip. His work in the field had clearly kept him in impressive shape, and the muscles of his abdomen led Kotone's gaze downwards to something entirely and unmistakably human and male.
"Ready for more?" he asked, making his way up to her on the bed. "Tell me what you want."
Ever the gentleman, he kept most of his weight off of her, even as Kotone desperately wanted him to press her down against the mattress and show her what more he could do. Instead, he brushed a kiss against her forehead, and the sparks in Kotone's belly fanned into flames yet again as she could smell herself on his beard.
"Tell me," he murmured, his soft kisses trailing down to her ear.
"Please," she whimpered, turning her face against the pillows as he explored a sensitive point along her neck.
Strong legs nudging hers apart, he came to rest between her thighs, the thick press of him sending shivers of anticipation through her.
"Please what?" he asked, his voice rough, his breath coming just as quick as hers as he held himself in check.
His cock brushed against her entrance, but even as she squirmed eagerly against him, he still only teased her with kisses.Â
"Hmm?" he prompted.
Unable to hold back any longer, she dug her fingers into the broad expanse of his shoulders and ground her hips up against his. "Please fuck me!"
He grinned, the pupils of both his human and non-human eyes blown wide. "Good girl," he said, and brought his lips to hers in an open-mouthed kiss.
He entered her then, groaning deep as they joined together, all the while kissing her so thoroughly she was certain she'd melt. Moving slowly at first, he gave her time to adjust to the size of him that filled her up just right.
"Touch yourself," he said, his voice too firm to ignore.
Sliding a hand between them, Kotone did as he'd commanded, letting out a gasp as he moved along with the strokes of her fingers. He kept his pace steady, shifting his hips slightly until he hit against a spot that had her crying out.
"Good like that?" he asked with a knowing grin.
Past the point of words, Kotone just moaned and tried to press herself closer. One of his hands settled tight on her hips, claws digging into her skin, holding her in place as he kept his movements at just the right angle to drive her increasingly wild.
"Come on," he said, panting, the strain starting to show on his face as he maintained their pace. "Let me feel you come, beautiful."
Lost in sensation, Kotone twisted and trembled beneath him. Between the motions of her own fingers, the way he pressed against that spot inside her with each stroke, and the intensity of his gaze, she couldn't help but break apart. Overwhelmed, she cried out as she reached her peak, her legs wrapped tight around him. Rindo groaned, the rhythm of his hips breaking as the way she clenched around him proved too much. With one last thrust that left Kotone trembling, he collapsed against her, entirely spent.
He was heavy for only a moment, breathing hard, before he rolled to one side and gathered her into his arms.
"That wasâŠ" Lost for words, Kotone just gave a satisfied sigh.
"Human or not, guess I still have it after all," Rindo said. From the softness of his tone and the slightest relief in his expression, Kotone had the impression his words were meant only for himself.
Smiling fondly at him, she snuggled in close, but stopped suddenly short as she met an unexpected feeling. A still very hard unexpected feeling.
"Looks like that's not the only thing you still have," she said as she realized just what was pressed so firmly against her.
He looked down, surprised. "Huh, that's new."
Kotone squeezed her thighs together, heat curling low in her belly already. "Another benefit of being a non-human?" she wondered out loud, her hand drifting down between their bodies. "We should investigate this further. Very thoroughly. For research purposes."
Rindo laughed, gave a full-fledged grin, and pulled her closer.
Kotone had to hand it to him - Ignis knew how to kiss.
Pressing her down against the bed, his hands in her hair, he drank her in. Angling the kiss as he liked, the stroke of his tongue against hers was insistent, a foreshadowing of what would pass between them soon enough.
He broke the kiss, leaving her breathless and gasping for more, and moved his attention to the sensitive skin of her neck, his tongue and breath unnaturally hot against her. Holding her down with his weight, his body was warm and unyielding as she squirmed beneath him.
Finally breaking apart, he untangled his grip from her hair and shucked off his t-shirt, revealing tempting abs and dangerous scars even in his human form. Not one to waste time, he made quick work of the buttons of Kotone's jeans, pulling them from her hips.
Kotone knew what was coming next, had felt him pressed hard against her thigh. But while he kissed and fucked in a way that was full of passion, energy, and instinct, there was one small issue she needed to raise with him.
"Wait," she said, struggling to find her words as she panted. "Could you go down on me first?"
Ignis stopped abruptly, brow furrowing. "Go down where?"
Ah, she'd suspected as much.
"You remember what I did for you the other day?" she asked, licking her lips to jog his memory.
He tilted his head, considering, and then his face lit up entirely. "Oh, yeah!" He grinned wide for an instant before his expression shifted again into confusion. "What does that have to do with anything?"
"I'd like it if you did the same to me," she explained, slowly but firmly. "It's something a lot of human women's partners do for them." She paused and thought back to a particularly lacklustre dating app encounter. "Or at least, they should do for them."
His eyebrows remained drawn together, but he nodded all the same. "Alright, I can give it a go."
He moved down the bed until he came to rest between her legs, his hands drawing her thighs apart. Getting in close, he paused and looked at her with curiosity.
"So, what do I do?"
With Ignis staring so intently, Kotone couldn't help but feel a little self-conscious. Swallowing down her nerves, she used her own fingers to demonstrate.
"Lick here, or here," she indicated. "I'll tell you if you do something I don't like."
"Sounds easy enough," he said, his expression relaxing. He rolled his shoulders and neck like he was stretching before a fight. Then, without hesitation, he leaned in close and sniffed.
Kotone froze in horror, her face heating in a rush of embarrassment.
Before she could completely die of mortification, Ignis grinned up at her so wide his canines were visible.
"Damn, you smell amazing." He brought his face in towards her and gave her a firm lick with the flat of his tongue. His eyebrows shot upwards. "And you taste even better!"
Kotone's mind reeled as she rocketed between disbelief, embarrassment, and flattery, but all of that was swept away when Ignis lowered his face to her, entirely unaware of the play of her emotions. His tongue was hot, warmer than anyone she'd been with before. It felt thrilling and new, but even that sensation was quickly overshadowed by his enthusiasm and lack of restraint.
With his hands holding her thighs firmly apart, he buried his face in her, lapping her up. He licked at her centre, tasting her, before refocusing on her clit as she'd shown him. Settling his mouth against her, he sucked at the small bud.
Kotone grabbed the bed sheets in her fists and moaned so loud she was certain it could be heard downstairs.
Ignis chuckled and lifted his head just enough to ask, "You like that, do you?"
"Oh yes." She moved her hips against him, eager for more, but his strong grip held her tightly in place.
He dove back in, burrowing his face against her, his mouth making obscenely wet noises as he tried to both lick and suck at her clit at the same time. Kotone gasped and trembled against him, already growing close to what she needed.
He paused suddenly and looked up at her in concern. "I still get to fuck you after this, right?"
She stared down at him in disbelief. In that moment she would have promised him anything not to stop. "Yes, of course! Just keep going!"
"Okay! Good. You'd better be ready for it, cause the taste of you has me hard as fuck." With that, he flashed her a grin and got right back to work.
He buried his tongue in her centre as deep as he could, pressing his whole face against her as he licked at her like he was starved for her taste. She twisted in his grasp, rapidly losing control as everything was at once too much and not enough, but still he held her firmly in place. He growled low in his chest, the sound rumbling through her as well.
"I'm gonna give it to you so good," he murmured roughly, but she barely heard him as her sensations mounted.
"Oh god," she said, breathless and shaking as he lapped her up, his nose nudging insistently at her clit as he focused on her core.
He pressed his tongue flat against her, licked all the way from her entrance up to her clit, and Kotone's world exploded into stars. Her thighs squeezed tight around his head, her hips rolling uncontrollably against his face as she lost herself, his tongue still lapping at her eagerly.Â
When at last she pushed him away, breathing hard, her heartbeat was loud in her ears. Glancing down at him, she tried to find the words to express how heâd just made her feel, but all that came out were incomprehensible, entirely overwhelmed whimpers.
"That good, huh?" Ignis made his way back up to her, his body hot as he kissed her so deep she could taste herself on his tongue. "Now that that's settled, I'm gonna fuck you so hard they'll hear you all the way in Bestia."
He devoured her mouth with another kiss, and even as she still trembled and shook from how thoroughly he'd eaten her out, his hips moved into place against hers, ready to make good on his words.

Kotone didn't think watching a movie on her computer screen across the room counted as much of a cinematic experience, but she didn't care. Snuggled up with Canus on her bed, the movie didn't really matter. She was enjoying a peaceful, quiet evening while leaning against his solid figure, both of them warm and happy. There was nothing she wanted more.
Or so she thought, until the movie leads shared a steamy kiss.
Followed by a very spicy scene indeed.
Kotone shifted, suddenly aware of how close they were. Of how long they'd been together with only clasped hands and gentle embraces. Of how the firm muscles of his arm felt against her, and what more might be hidden beneath his clothes. Watching the couple on screen act on their passion for each other sent her mind wandering, replaying the scenes she'd imagined late at night in the very bed they were sitting on.
And it would seem she wasn't the only one affected; with the bedroom lights dimmed, the change of Canus's calm blue flames to a bright pink was impossible to miss.
"Are you alright?" she couldn't help but ask, careful to keep any hint of teasing from her voice.
"Yes," he said simply, even as he tensed beside her.
She frowned at him. "Canus, you promised you'd tell me what you're feeling."
âIt is justâŠâ He paused, his flames wavering. âIt is somewhat uncomfortable to watch a scene like this with you."
Kotoneâs heart skipped a beat. Did that mean he was as interested in her as she was in him? Had the scene on screen sent his mind in the same direction as hers? Unable to see his face though, she had no way of knowing unless she asked.
So she did.
"How so?"
His flustered pink turned a deep, sad blue, and when he spoke again his tone was deep with regret. "I wish⊠I wish I could kiss you."
Her heart fell to hear those words. The movie instantly forgotten, Kotone turned to face him fully.
"A kiss is just a way of physically expressing emotions," she explained. "We have many other ways of doing that.â
She took his hand in hers, interlacing their fingers and giving a light squeeze. His flames quieted to a contented green and he returned her grip, his hand warm and strong and so much larger than her own.
âThere,â she said. âThis can be our version of a kiss.â
She stroked her thumb along the side of his hand, and smiled when he did the same in return. Without thinking much about it, she shifted her grip and brushed her thumb lightly up his palm. Canus shivered, his flames going pink.
Kotone tilted her head, intrigued by his reaction, and did it again. Canus made a stifled noise, sat absolutely still, and proceeded to shuffle through several colours before settling yet again on a blazing pink.
Vennia had once mentioned that fairies didn't procreate in the same way as humans, but did that mean they couldnât? Kotone had spent long nights alone in her bed pondering that question, and this was the best lead-in sheâd had so far to raise it with her endearingly flustered knight. But how to approach the topic without sending him into a fit of embarrassed stammers?
Slowly, so as not to startle him, Kotone drew his hand to her mouth and pressed a kiss to his palm. When he didnât pull away, she summoned up her daring and licked the tip of a finger.
Canus gasped, and with his free hand grabbed the pillow from the bed and held it to his lap.
Kotone knew very well what that meant.
So she popped his finger into her mouth, ran her tongue along the tip, and sucked gently.
Canus leaned forward, clutching the pillow tighter, and outright whimpered.
âKotone,â he said, his normally steady voice frantic, âwhat are you doing?â
There was no better opening than that, and there was no point in dancing around the matter. Threading their fingers together again, she looked straight at his flames and asked her question without hesitation.
"Canus, do fairies have sex? In the same way as humans?"
He fired extra pink and cleared his throat, but made no effort to move away.
"Some do," he said slowly. "Not all. While it is not required, many find it a source of entertainment."
"Do you?"
His pink flames burned lower, as though suddenly shy. "I have not yet had the opportunity."
âWould you like to?" she asked, before she could lose her nerve. "With me?â
He drew back from her, his posture stiff. âI would never mean to impose-â
"Because I want to with you."
Her words settled heavy in the air, the room quiet except for the continuing background noise from the already-forgotten movie.
Canus swallowed, gently squeezed her hand, and ran his thumb along her skin.
"Well then, yes. Yes, I would." He brought his other hand up to caress her face, turning his torso fully towards her. The pillow fell from his lap and Kotone had to try very hard not to look down in curiosity. "I would like that very much."
His thumb trailed slowly over her lips, which Kotone parted in response. Darting her tongue out to lick at him, she smiled.
He held still for a moment, as though transfixed by the sight, and finally asked, "Will you show me what to do?"
She nodded. "Of course. And you'll need to tell me if you're not comfortable with something, or if we go too fast for you."
"That is unlikely to be an issue. I haveâŠ" He paused, and then at last quietly admitted, "I have thought about this a good deal."
Kotone shivered. Imagining Canus thinking about her at night just as she'd thought about him sent an undeniable thrill through her.
"Take this off," she said, tugging at his shirt. Her own hands went to the buttons of her blouse, but she only managed to undo a few of them before Canus slid off his shirt, folding it nervously in front of him.
Kotone couldn't help but stare.
"Oh," she breathed. "You're gorgeous."
Lit by the vivid pink sparks of his flames, Canus's muscular form was a sight to behold. Kotone had suspected as much, but seeing him truly revealed was even better than she'd imagined. Without thinking, she stretched out her hand and laid it against the solid expanse of his chest. Canus inhaled sharply, and Kotone drew back immediately.
"Sorry," she said, eyes wide. "I should have asked first before touching you."
"There is no need to apologize. It is justâŠ" He reached out and gently clasped her hand in both of his. "No one has ever touched me like that before."
Kotone's vision wavered for a moment as his words sank in. Blinking rapidly, she set her jaw, looked at him with determination, and then wrapped her arms around him in the fiercest hug she'd ever given.
"Canus," she said, her face pressed tight to his chest, "tonight I'm going to touch you enough to make up for centuries."
He laughed softly at this, his arms closing around her in return, the light cast by his flames turning a delighted yellow. "Then perhaps you could undress as well?"
Unwrapping herself from their embrace, she smiled wide, her hands making quick work of the last of her buttons, peeling out of her shirt and starting on the rest of her clothes.
"Off with these," she said, pulling at one of his belt loops as she wriggled out of her own jeans.
They both busied themselves with their clothing, and when at last they were done, they sat side by side on the bed with nothing between them.
Canus went perfectly still, glowing a sudden, bright pink again.
Without facial expressions to rely on, he could be difficult to read. Were they moving too fast? Had he expected something else? Kotone liked the way she looked, but it was hard not to feel a little nervous and vulnerable the first time with someone new.
"Canus?" she asked. "Tell me what you're thinking."
Finally, he stirred and began to speak. "My apologies, Kotone. Words fail me. You are⊠beyond compare."
He was too sweet, her knight. Kotone smiled at him, leaned forward, and trailed an appreciative line of kisses across his collarbone, her hands tracing the muscles of his chest and stomach.
"Touch me too," she whispered, her lips hot against his skin.
Hesitantly, he stroked gently along her back and traced the dip of her waist. She made an appreciative noise, nuzzling her face against his chest as she continued her own exploration of him. When finally he worked up the nerve to bring his hands to her breasts, he was much too gentle - it wasn't until she leaned into his touch that he grew more sure.
Kotone's hands strayed lower, causing him to tense as she reached his hips. When she looked down at last, even the dim light couldn't stop her mouth from going dry.
"I, uh," she started. Swallowing down a flutter of anticipation, she tried again. "I think you'll need to warm me up a lot before we do much more."
Canus turned a proud green, as he very well should.
"I am at your service," he said, and Kotone was certain she wasn't imagining the faint hint of cheekiness in his tone.
Smiling wide, she took one of his hands in hers and drew him close. "Let me show you what to do."
Guiding his hand gently between her thighs, she showed him how she liked it - where to touch, the pressure and pattern - and then relaxed under the gentle caress of his fingers, her own hands stroking along his arms and chest. He touched her hesitantly at first, too soft, as though he feared hurting her. As his confidence grew though, Kotone gave a contented sigh in encouragement, pressing her hips closer.
Focused, Canus's flames quieted to their usual blue. His fingertips were rough, but not unpleasantly so, and Kotone drew in a breath when he slipped a finger into her. She rocked against his palm eagerly and gasped as he pressed firmly against that one spot in her, before easing in a second finger.
Thighs already trembling, Kotone looked at him in disbelief. "For someone who's never done this before," she panted out, "you're surprisingly good at it."
Kotone burst out laughing at this admission, and even Canus had to forgo his usual seriousness for a slightly embarrassed chuckle. Still smiling, Kotone pressed down hard against his palm, bringing his other hand to her mouth to suck on his fingers. He glowed a furious pink, his chest flushed a matching shade.
Placing a hand against the enticing blush across his skin, Kotone trailed her way down slowly, feeling his muscles tense in response. When at last she reached his cock, she touched him lightly, delighting in how his whole body shivered.
"Please, Kotone," he whispered.
She didn't need any more encouragement than that to wrap her hand around him and get to work. With one of Canus's hands at her mouth and the other between her thighs, Kotone hummed in contentment around his fingers, riding his palm at the same time as she stroked him. The combined visual and sensations were almost too much, and it wasn't long before they were both breathing hard.
Releasing him for a moment, she reached up to grasp his fingers in her mouth, drawing them away so she could speak. "I'd be happy to go down on you. Would you like that?"
He made a strangled noise, his flames jumping higher than ever. "I- I believe that would result in the night coming to a very swift end."
"Next time then," she promised, looking forward to it already.
She reached for him again, but he shied away.
"Kotone," he said, his voice hoarse, "this is almost too much already. What more can I do for you?"
Rolling her hips against his palm, his fingers still buried inside her, Kotone bit her lip and glanced down at him.
Canus positively sparked.
Withdrawing his hand, he took a shaky breath and slowly began to guide her down onto the bed.
"Wait," she said, and he stilled immediately. "It's actually better for me when I'm on top."
He paused, and then obligingly settled back against the mattress. "Then we will do as you prefer."
Taking a moment to admire his perfect form before her, Kotone took a deep breath and moved to sit astride him. She rubbed herself against him, coating him in wetness and running her hands along his chest as she did. His flames and skin were flushed pink, but as eager as she was for him, she needed to know he felt the same.
"Are you alright with this?" she asked. "Do you want me to continue?"
"Yes," he said, his voice rough but certain. âI want you, Kotone.â
She smiled at him, her heart full. âI want you too, Canus.â
With that, she lowered herself slowly onto him, both of them giving a satisfied moan as their bodies joined. He placed his hands on her hips as she started to move, his touch straying down to caress her thighs, but let her set the pace.
She went slow at first, needing to adjust to him before gradually growing more sure in her movements. She kept her hands on his chest, as much to brace herself as she rode as to fulfill her promise of touching him as much as he deserved.
"Oh Canus," she murmured, rolling her hips in a way that made her breath catch in her throat. "You feel incredible. Is this good for you too?"
"Y-yes," he managed, his grip tight on her thighs. "Oh god yes."
At one particularly delicious downstroke, Kotone closed her eyes and threw her head back, focusing fully on the sensations as he filled her. Her thighs shook and Kotone felt herself growing tighter around him, filled to perfection. Beneath her hands, Canus gave a rumble of warning low in his chestÂ
"Kotone, I- I-" His voice broke off with a deep groan, his hips bucking up beneath her.
With all his muscles straining as he lost himself, his sudden movement sent her over the edge as well, crying out as she trembled around him.
Overwhelmed, she leaned heavily on his chest, panting as she rode out the last of her orgasm before finally collapsing against him.
They lay together in silence, the music of the long-forgotten movie credits the only sound aside from their breathing. Kotone curled in happily against his chest, his strong arms wrapping around her as the lick of his satisfied yellow flames tickled at her hair.
"How was that for a first time?" she asked, knowing full well he had enjoyed it every bit as much as she had.
"Better than I could have ever imagined." He gave a contented sigh, and then continued slow but hopeful, "And perhaps soon to be followed with a second?"
With a laugh, Kotone snuggled closer against him, her hands already stroking their way down the firm muscles of his body.

Woah, thank you for bringing the CxM Mario Kart HCs to life with this super nice art! Sasazukaâs smug satisfaction comes right through as he easily destroys everyone, and of course Shiraishi is playing as Cat Peach. đ
Vennia needs a route. :â) Instead, letâs have some very quick HCs for our favourite prickly fairy.
(Going with he / him / his due to Canusâs route.)
Vennia:
A = Aftercare
You want to what? Snuggle? But why?
With both of you so sticky, wouldn't your time be better spent with a shower? No need to get up - he'll gladly go first.
E = Experience
None, of course. Fairies don't do that.
Well, perhaps some do. But not him.
Gives a long-suffering sigh when you express your interest in furthering your physical relationship with him. You might be put off by this, but instead of following up with biting words, he just glances away and notes that he didn't say he hated the ideaâŠ
F = Favourite position
Anything where he's in control and you're not looking at him
Except not spooning, that's far too intimate
With you lying on your front is fine, he supposes. Goes slow at first, the motions unfamiliar, gradually becoming a little more undone, a little more frantic. Towards the end, is profoundly grateful youâre too busy muffling your moans into the pillow to bear witness to how overwhelmed he is.
M = Motivation
Claims his sole motivation is that you appear to enjoy it
Maybe also because it's a way of understanding humans and their ways
Maybe also because it's not awful...
O = Oral
The concept is utterly perplexing to him. Finds it hard to believe such a thing could be enjoyable for the partner performing the act, much less desirable.
Will hesitantly accept when you offer, claiming to be merely curious. You go slow to start, but even then heâs shocked into silence, entirely still except for the increasingly rapid rise and fall of his chest. Tries to stay quiet, but canât hold back his soft moans and panted breaths. Gives a startled gasp at the end, throwing an arm over his eyes to hide his expression.
Lies in bed for a concerning amount of time after, a frown on his face. Worried, you ask if that was alright. Wordlessly, he pulls you in close beside him, his slender form still trembling with sensation as he holds you more tenderly than he ever has before.
On some occasion in the future, you finally manage the courage required to face his haughty gaze and potentially cutting words to suggest he might return the favour.
No thank you, he says simply. And that's the end of that.
You want to snuggle in close and have him hold you? Yes, please!
Wraps his strong arms around you and holds you to his chest for as long as you like.
Laughs loud if you trace the outline of his abs or stroke the soft feathers of his wings - it tickles! - but never objects to having your hands all over him.
If your touches stray a little too low during your cuddle session, all the better - he has the stamina and drive to always be up for showing you what more he can do.
E = Experience
He might be a fallen angel, but that doesn't mean he's any less oblivious about sex than the other residents of Caelm.Â
Introduce him to the concept and you'll create a monster. A glorious, insatiable, vigorous monster.
Is eager to make up for his lack of experience with multiple rounds per night - always with the same level of energy and passion each time.
Approaches everything you do together with a sense of joy, losing himself in the sensations you provoke in him and determined to make you feel the same.
F = Favourite position
How could he ever pick just one, when there are so many wonderful positions available?
If he had to pick, taking you on your knees is especially fun. Great view, feels amazing, and when he really gets into it, loves to pull you up off the bed and hold you against him. With your back crushed tight to his muscular chest, buries his face in your hair as he fucks you hard, the sound of the bed banging against the wall rivalled only by the unreserved noises he makes.
(For the next round, he'll change it up to something else equally intense and just as loud.)
M = Motivation
Uh, it feels incredible and you're gorgeous - what other motivation does he need?
O = Oral
Holds your hair out of your face and watches in amazement as you go down on him.
(Make sure to use your hands as you do - he's a lot to take with your mouth alone.)
The first time you blow him, just lies back against the pillows afterwards, eyes wide as he catches his breath, wondering why humans even bother leaving their bedrooms.
Doesn't know where to start when it's his turn to give, but after a quick lesson is stoked to give it a go. Dives right in without hesitation, and from the way his golden eyes gaze reverently up at you, you can tell you're not the only one enjoying the experience.
Solitus:
A = Aftercare
Much to his surprise, finds himself emotionally raw and reeling afterwards. Is a little uncertain how to react to this - isn't used to such a depth of emotion, much less everything hitting him at once.
Holds you tightly to him, partly to help anchor him in the storm of his newfound feelings, but also so you can't see the vulnerability on his face.
If you notice any of this, don't say anything. Just curl in closer and stroke his wings, the feathers growing a little more black each time you're together.
E = Experience
Has some peripheral knowledge of sex due to his time working at the GPM in the human world, but never paid it much mind other than being generally aware that it's something humans and certain non-humans do. It certainly never occurred to him that itâs something angels could do.
Given his rigid and restrained nature, it may take some time before your relationship progresses to a point where he even considers this.
Despite his growing curiosity, is initially resistant to acting on his desires, fearful and uncertain of how any change will impact the two of you.
When you finally reach that level of intimacy, is very, very shocked to find that not only can angels do this, but that doing it with you makes him feel beyond compare.
F = Favourite position
Has a lot to learn and explore, but finds himself coming back to variations on missionary.
This gives him a sense of control over the situation; a small comfort as he's otherwise entirely swept away. To this end, he'll often hold you down, pinning your hands above your head to keep you from adding to his already overwhelming sensations. But even if you can't touch him, watching the play of emotions across your face as he gives it to you has him flooded with all kinds of new feelings.
With his commanding voice and experience as an authority figure, will one day make an exceptional dom. Needless to say though, there's a lot of ground to cover before he gets to that point. (Alternatively, normalize asserting your will over him and you may eventually find that he can be delightfully susceptible to following ordersâŠ)
M = Motivation
After going millennia without even thinking of it, chances are you'll usually need to be the one to explicitly initiate.
This changes though if you've been disobedient. Talk back to him or try to push him around and you'll find that things get heated between you very quick - just be sure you're up for what you're starting.
(As for the opposite of motivation... Kill the mood with any attempt to joke about his 'Spear of the Oracle'. Will give you the most unamused expression imaginable and leave without a word, no matter how much you plead through your laughter for him to stay and pierce you with it.)
O = Oral
Extremely methodological in his approach to going down. Not going to win any awards for his level of passion, but is diligent and dutiful in his attentions, wholly devoted to the methods you've taught him until he's accomplished his goal.
The reverse, however, is where the fun is really at with him.
Is there anything better than breaking down a principled, disciplined man until heâs a whimpering mess under your mouth and hands? Of course not. Do your worst and enjoy every minute of bringing one of the most powerful men in all of Caelm to his knees.
Hello! Will you be doing more alphabet HCs for Cafe Enchante? Just finished the game and your content has been keeping me from going insane đ
There are indeed a few more in the works, although a bit different than what's been posted so far. This game has a lot of enticing non-romanceable side characters, let's just say... đ
After that, might switch it up a bit. Writing the HCs has made me interested in exploring some of the thoughts in long form. We'll probably see something for Canus in particular in the coming weeks.

Thank you for reading. After playing this game I needed something fun and silly, and writing this was therapeutic. Hope you found it enjoyable as well!
Kotone had just finished the dinner orders and was looking forward to an easy end to the evening when Il waved her over to his table.
âKotone! Can we have another game night?â he asked, innocent smile wide across his face.
âNo,â she said immediately. âNo we can't.â
"But the characters in an otome game I'm playing mentioned a game and I want to try it." His eyes were big and pleading and entirely irresistible.
She sighed. If even a demon king couldn't say no to him, what hope did she have? "Alright. What game is it? We can buy it the next time we go for groceries."
Il brightened. "That's the best part! Apparently all that's required to play is a bottle."
At those simple words, a feeling of dread settled in Kotone's stomach.
---
Rindo scratched his jaw and frowned. "Spin the bottle isn't really a board game."
The usual crowd was gathered around the table, beverages of choice laid out in front of them. In the centre lay a single, deceptively unthreatening empty bottle.
âBesides,â Rindo continued, âdonât you normally need more women in the group to play this game?â
Misyr smirked into his coffee. "That's a very old-fashioned view.â
With a long-suffering sigh, Rindo relented. "Never mind."
âHeâs right though,â said Ignis. âThis is gonna suck. Canât play a game like this with all dudes and just one chick.â
Canus held up a hand. âTechnically, fairies are neither âdudesâ nor-â
âYeah yeah, I know.â Rolling his eyes, Ignis slouched and threw an arm over the back of his chair. âWhatever. Letâs just get this over with.â
Rindo gestured towards Kotone to begin, but she shook her head. There was no way she was going first this time. And besides, she still owed him for volunteering her last game night.
Smiling sweetly, she motioned back to him in return. "Age before beauty."
"Even you?" He placed a hand to his heart, betrayed, but then reached for the bottle all the same. "The things I do for my job," he murmured, before flashing Kotone a resigned grin and sending the bottle spinning.
Il clapped his hands in excitement, but Kotone hardly noticed. She held her breath, watching the bottle as it spun round and round, taking its torturous time before coming to a stop pointing atâŠ
Canus.
"How's that even going to work?" Rindo asked, perplexed. "He doesn't have a head."
âI do have a head,â corrected Canus. âItâs just invisible.â
"Oh of course,â said Rindo, as though the situation now made perfect sense.
"You could blow him a kiss," suggested Il.
In demonstration, he put the tips of his fingers to his lips and gracefully blew a kiss across the table to Kotone. Like everything he did, the movement was so elegant that Kotone's cheeks grew warm, filled with a sudden feeling of being indescribably blessed as the recipient of the innocent gesture.
Ignis made a noise of disgust. "Seriously?! Wait your turn, you stupid angel." He glared at Rindo. "And hurry it up, old man."
"Are we good now?" Rindo asked wearily, his task complete.
Il clasped his hands to his heart. "Oh yes, we're off to a wonderful start!"
Beside him, Misyr raised his eyebrows and took a sip of coffee. When he looked up again, he met Kotone's gaze. "Your turn now, our adorable owner."
"Of course," she said, but something in his tone compelled her to add: "But no cheating."
Misyr held a hand up defensively and grinned. "I wouldn't dream of it."
Kotone had her doubts on that front, but reached forward and sent the bottle spinning regardless.
As it spun, she glanced discretely around the table at the potential candidates: the charming gentleman, the steadfast knight, the fiery demon beast, the beautiful angel, and the charismatic demon king. While they were all unique individuals indeed, they were also all undeniably attractive. Kissing any of them would certainly be an experience. Before she could stop herself, Kotone imagined what sharing a kiss with each one might be like, ranging from passionate to chaste.
As these thoughts flashed through her mind, Misyr caught her eye and winked.
Face suddenly burning hot, Kotone refocused on the bottle as it slowed to a stop in front of...
Herself.
Kotone frowned. She hadn't expected to feel disappointed, and yet here she was. A table full of crestfallen faces told her she wasn't the only one, at least.
"Well, that's easy enough," she said, raising a hand to her lips and kissing the back of it.
Ignis let out a noise that sounded suspiciously like a whine. "Isn't that against the rules?"
"I don't believe there are any real rules to this game," Il said, his expression mournful. He waved in Canus's direction. "Please go ahead, Canus. Perhaps you will have better luck."
Canus leaned forward and gave the bottle a solid spin. It circled the expectant faces until it finally paused in front of...
Kotone.
"Lucky bastard," Ignis muttered, rapping his knuckles against the table.
Canus, meanwhile, sat frozen as his flames cycled through a variety of colours. When at last he settled on a cherry-pink, he struggled for words as he began to speak. "I- I could not⊠I could not impose on a lady in such a way!"
Ignis shook his head, incredulous. "That's the whole point of the game though. Just smooch her already!"
"Kotone has the right to reject anything she doesn't want," said Rindo, folding his arms and leveling a serious look at both Ignis and Canus in turn.
"Thank you, Mister Rindo." Kotone appreciated his concern, but truth be told, she was undeniably curious how this would play out. Turning slightly in her chair to face Canus, she inclined her head towards him. "Please, go ahead."
He shifted uncomfortably for a moment, and then hesitantly leaned towards her. His flames burned even more fiercely than before, still a bright, flustered pink. Feeling a bit bad for him, Kotone tilted her chin up ever so slightly in invitation.Â
Drawing in a breath, Canus leaned in the rest of the way, swerving at the last second to brush what Kotone assumed was a kiss against her cheek. The lick of gentle flames against her skin was warm and tickling. Unable to stop herself, she let out a giggle at the sensation. Canus drew back immediately.
"M-my deepest apologies."
Still seated, he gave an awkward bow, and Kotone tried very hard not to laugh again. He really was impossibly sweet.
Before she could soothe Canus's nerves, Ignis grabbed the bottle and sent it spinning. "Enough of that already. My turn!"Â
"The probability of landing on Kotone for a third time in a row is very low," Il observed cheerfully, and Ignis's face fell.
When at last the bottle came to a stop, Ignis stared at it in confusion. "So what do I do now? It's not pointing at anyone."
Indeed, the bottle had stopped right between Misyr and Rindo.
"Maybe you could spin again?" Kotone offered.
Seemingly recovered from his embarrassment, Canus spoke up before Ignis could reach for the bottle. "Actually, it would appear to be pointing at Kororo."
Everyone turned to look, and sure enough, Kororo lay peacefully napping under a nearby table, exactly in the direction indicated by the bottle.
Ignis made a face. "No way! No way am I kissing that thing."
"Your other choices are me or Rindo," Misyr said, completely unperturbed.
With a groan, Ignis stood up, his chair scraping against the floor. The sudden noise woke Kororo, who barely had time to emit a questioning 'kyu?' before Ignis snatched him up.
"Let's get this over with," he said with a glare, bringing the adorable creature towards his face.
Unfortunately for him, Kororo chose that very same moment to make his affections known with an ill-timed headbutt.
"Ow! My eye!" Dropping Kororo to the ground, Ignis reeled back, a hand clutched protectively over his injury.
"Aww," Il cooed. "He loves you."
"Oh yeah? Well the feeling's far from mutual."
Ignis gave a fearsome one-eyed glare to the tiny Paku. Kororo yawned sleepily in return, flopped back to his spot under the table, and continued his nap.
âYou might want to put some ice on that,â Rindo suggested, only half succeeding at stifling a grin at the other man's misery.
"Whatever." Rubbing at his eye, Ignis threw himself into his chair, slouching in defeat. "This game sucks."
Far too pure for this world, Il gave an angelic smile. "It's my turn now - maybe I'll get to kiss it better."
Ignis grumbled irritably and slumped further into his chair.
"Are you sure you don't want some ice?" Kotone asked, concerned. "It's really no problem."
"He'll be fine," said Misyr, gesturing towards the bottle. "Go ahead, Il."
Clasping his hands to his heart, Il's expression turned rhapsodic. "Oh how I've longed for this! To experience a game where love might bloom in real life, as has happened for countless young couples across the ages!"
"Yeah," said Rindo, scratching at his chin, "that only happens in movies."
Entirely undeterred, Il reached for the bottle and spun it gently.
Kotone watched as it gave a few turns on the table, until finally it began to slow as it passed her, Canus, and Ignis, just barely passed Il himself, and came to rest pointing atâŠ
Misyr.
Il tilted his head. "This wasn't a possibility I'd considered."
Kotone was about to ask if he wanted to spin again, when she realized he didn't sound sad or disappointed, merely surprised.
Il glanced at Misyr. "Is this acceptable to you?"
With his usual good-natured laugh, Misyr grinned his charming grin. "Those are the rules, right?"
Kotone almost forgot how to breathe as two of the most handsome men she'd ever seen leaned in close.
Il brought a hand up to guard against one of the horns that curled out from Misyr's dark hair, his pale fingers skimming lightly along the edge of it. Misyr smiled gently, his expression soft, and let Il take his time closing the distance between them.
It was nothing more than a light brush of lips between the two close friends, but nonetheless Kotone suddenly felt quite warm. Watching two extremely attractive men share a kiss, no matter how innocent, gave her a flash of insight into one of the many reasons why the BL genre was so popular. With the sight now indelibly imprinted into her memory, Kotone wondered if perhaps some good had come of the game nights after all.
"Are you well, Kotone?" Canus's voice cut through her reverie. "You are growing unusually red."
Pressing her hands to her cheeks, Kotone tore her gaze from the vision in front of her.
"Yes!" she said, her voice much too loud. "I feel completely fine."
Before she could stop herself, she stole one last glance at the fallen angel and demon king. Il was his usual oblivious self, smiling happily, but MisyrâŠ
Misyr looked right at her, grinned wickedly, and winked.
Kotone's face burned.
Canus leaned towards her, concerned. "Are you certain you are feeling well? You are becoming increasingly flushed."
With a deep breath, Kotone pasted on a smile and tried to calm her racing heart. "Let's just keep playing."
"Yes, let's," Misyr said smoothly.
He caught Kotone's eye as he reached for the bottle, and she knew without a doubt what would happen next.
Their eyes stayed locked as the bottle spun, and neither Kotone nor Misyr so much as glanced down as it came to a perfect stop.
âWhat happened to not cheating?â Kotone asked, her voice low, as Misyr placed one hand on the back of her chair and leaned down until they were face to face.
Paying her accusation no mind, he brought a hand up and traced her bottom lip with the pad of his thumb, careful not to let his talons touch her skin. Kotone held her breath as his gaze flicked down to her mouth, his fingers moving to trail gently along her cheek to caress her face. When he looked up again, his eyes were dark.
âSome things are too important to be left to chance," he whispered, and then he brought his lips to hers.
She was still for a moment, shocked by the suddenness of the situation. He kissed her so gently, so teasingly though, that after a heartbeat she closed her eyes and let herself be swept away.
Careful of his horns, Misyr changed the angle of the kiss, his hand drifting across her cheek to tangle in her hair. Kotone pressed herself closer, and as his tongue brushed lightly at her lips, a soft noise somewhere between a gasp and a moan escaped her.
The snap of a camera cut through the mood. They broke apart immediately, suddenly aware there were other people in the room.
"What a lovely kiss!" said Il as he admired the image he'd captured with his phone. "Just like a CG."
Ignis rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed. "Get a room, you two."
Canus merely observed in silence, flames rushing through several colours in evident embarrassment.
As Kotone felt her face go crimson, she stole a quick glance at Misyr. For an instant he looked every bit as shaken as she felt. Then the expression passed, his trademark self-assurance falling back into place as he returned to his seat.
Rindo grinned in a way that was entirely too knowing for Kotone's comfort, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "Another round?"
"I think weâre done for tonight, actually," she said, standing to gather the cups from the table, face still hot.
Despite her shaky legs, she somehow made it back to the kitchen without dropping anything. Depositing the cups in the sink, she leaned against the counter and absentmindedly brought her fingers to her lips, her mind replaying what she'd just experienced.
"Do you need help with the dishes?"
Kotone drew her hand away with a gasp. Misyr stood in the doorway, not quite crossing the threshold into the kitchen. While he met her gaze directly, his grin was less playful than usual, almost hesitant.
"No," Kotone said, pushing down a sudden rush of butterflies. She busied herself with the dishes, but couldn't keep from glancing over to him again. "Are you staying late tonight?"Â
"I have to leave soon," he said, looking more regretful than she'd ever seen. He placed a hand on the doorway, paused, but then drew in a breath rather than turning to leave.
"That kissâŠ"
Up to her elbows in soapy water, Kotone froze.
Misyr swallowed before continuing, "Would you like to do that again sometime? Outside of a game?"
"Yes," she said, her heart beating rapidly, happy and nervous and hopeful all at the same time.
Misyr let out a breath and broke into a genuine grin. He glanced down at her lips, turned the slightest shade of pink, and smiled so wide the pointed tips of his canines peeked out. The expression, Kotone thought, could only be described as adorable.
"Good!" He laughed, returning to his usual confidence. "Until tomorrow then. Goodnight."
Will never ask for it, but certainly won't turn down an offered blowjob
Blazes pink the entire time and holds perfectly still, trying to be considerate and avoid pushing up into your mouth, no matter how tempting it may be. You might wonder if he's fallen asleep, but the ragged breaths and progressively more undone noises he makes indicate otherwise.
Tries to restrain himself considering the likelihood of other patrons in nearby rooms, but can't stop a deep, satisfied groan as you unrelentingly push him too far
Can't reciprocate, of course, so will focus all his efforts in whatever other ways he can. His fingers, rough from gardening, as well as his determination are more than capable of ensuring you're never left wanting.
Ignis:
Sex in Bestia is a quick, rough affair, with partners often going their separate ways after getting what they want. As such, has little experience giving or receiving.
Is intrigued when you explain it to him, and eager to try
His eyes go wide the minute your lips wrap around his cock, a puppy-dog whimper escaping him
With no knowledge of general blowjob etiquette, at first tries to push your head down. Is appropriately contrite when you smack his hands away and give him a thorough scolding. After that, keeps his hands safely out of the way, grabbing the sheets instead. (With a howl, tears into them with his claws as he comes.)
Tilts his head as he listens with interest to your explanation of how he can do the same for you, and is curious to give it a go
Much to your utter mortification, outright sniffs at you when he settles between your thighs. Before you can push him away and die of embarrassment, he grins wide, pulls your hips in close, and dives right in.
Laps you up eagerly, his tongue warmer than that of an average man
As you become increasingly overwhelmed, you forget yourself completely and try to thread your fingers in his hair. (You yelp as this earns you some lightly singed fingertips.)
Eats you out so enthusiastically you're left soaking wet and shaking as you come. He tries to continue even after and looks crestfallen when you push him away, insisting you're far too sensitive for more. Asks how long before he can do it again, and perks up when you tell him to give you a few minutes at least to catch your breath...
Rindo:
Enjoys receiving, but has no expectation of it happening
Always seems so surprised when you offer, which makes you want to do it even more. Blowing him on the couch in his apartment becomes one of your favourite things to do whenever the movie or tv show you're watching hits a slow point.
As you might expect, is experienced and gentlemanly enough to always be mindful to ensure you receive the care you deserve in return
Loves reaching up to pinch at your nipples as heâs busy between your thighs, and you can feel the rumble of his laugh as you respond to his touch with a moan
Employs a wide range of techniques he's perfected over the years, encouraging you to tell him what you like best. Once he's found the right one, works diligently until he has you calling his name, toes curling against the bed sheets.
Il:
After being coddled by others for so long, it should come as no surprise that he can be somewhat of a pillow princess
Loves receiving. The moans he makes are completely unreserved and the most splendid sounds that will ever grace your ears.
Squirms the entire time your mouth is on him, unable to keep still from the sensations you're producing in him. Looking up at him as you work is a treat beyond compare - pale skin flushed pink, eyes closed, mouth open. Giving such a beautiful man what looks to be a religious experience is so unspeakably thrilling, you're always happy to indulge him.
The first time you blow him in his human form, is so thoroughly overwhelmed at the end that his wings accidentally appear as he finishes, filling your bed with feathers
Doesn't reciprocate overly often, but given what a wonder he is under your attentions you find you don't mind very much at all
When he does go down, the gentle brush of his tongue is absolutely divine as he coaxes you lovingly to your peak
Misyr:
Loves to watch you take him in your mouth, and is especially pleased if you maintain eye contact throughout. It makes the whole experience feel even more intimate, and helps ward off any twinges of loneliness and regret that come from knowing he'll need to leave before the night is through.
Keeps his hands away, not wanting to unintentionally scratch you as his sensations build. Will carefully tuck your hair behind your ear though, making you shiver at his feather-light touch.
May talk you through it, telling you what you're doing to him, how you're making him feel. Eventually trades words for soft groans and loving murmurs as you drive him ever closer to the edge.
Faces some challenges when reciprocating. While he thoroughly enjoys the act, you can't help but find it more than a little uncomfortable and distracting to have his horns digging into the soft skin of your thighs.
For this reason, as much as he loves drinking you in, often has to content himself with fingers instead. Even this poses difficulties though, as you're rightfully nervous about letting his talons near such a sensitive place. Taking it slow and cautious, becomes quite adept at using only the pads of his fingers to rub just how you like.
