one day I will meet a person who won’t find my mind a little too heavy. who won’t tell me to stop thinking and overthinking. someone who understands that loving people so much is who I am. someone that won’t call me a handful. someone who is ready to love with all they have too. someone who wants to take on this world with me by their side. that will be a happy day.

The universe will keep handing you the same lessons, the same relationships, the same type of love and the same type of pain until you realize that the common denominator is you. Until you are finally tired of your own patterns. Until you finally love yourself enough to raise your standards and believe you are worthy of holding them. You see the thing is, until you learn to love yourself more, you will continue to accept the love that mirrors how you truly feel about yourself. The answer to everything you desire is within you.

Healing also means taking an honest look at the role you played in your suffering.

You gotta understand that some people never really grow. They never learn their lesson. They never recognise their mistakes, they never acknowledge their faults, they never admit they were in the wrong. You will never receive an apology from them, and you will never see their behaviour change.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but please let your self cry and feel and hurt. let the pain leave your body. the longer it stays there, the more it will hurt you.
