ravenâs hue lit up seeing luna looking over her little doodles and things. the only person that wanted to see them was finn, and it was nice having luna here, comforting even, made her feel less alone at times. her hand goes to her cheek, to keep her face on hers while she studied her eyes and the bruising on her neck. âyou get enough?â she asks her, her hue gentle on luna, but then again it had always been soft on luna. never in a moment had her hue been harsh on luna, and she hoped it never did. âyeah, i feel like i could sleep more, but definitely no more pounding head.â which was a good thing in her mind. she barely could keep her eyes open and remembered how luna had brought her into her room, doing her best to get the brace off of her leg. she smiled at that, before she was dropping her hand from her cheek, taking the hair tie from luna, and putting it around her wrist. it felt good to have her hair down, and she decided to keep it that way for a little while longer. âdo i? well thatâs good. if i recall someone had to carry me to my bed.â she says, a smile appearing on her face. âyou could of slept in bed with me. i wouldnât have minded.â she really wouldnât have, she would have preferred luna sleeping there than anywhere else that she slept. âunless you did sleep in my bed.â she muses, because she really wasnât sure, since she could remember breathing in her scent while she was sleeping. she felt the hand on her back and smiled at it, warmth seeping under her skin, before it was dropped and luna was moving. raven moved with her, sliding her foot along the ground, and then resting against the wall by the window, looking out at what luna was seeing.
hearing her words, her hue turned back to luna, her hand being placed on her arm softly giving it a squeeze.âis it hard? it being similar to the rig?â she asks her, before she was looking back out at her sea, a chuckle leaving her lips. âyou know, thatâs what iâve been saying. we need waves out here.â she says, shaking her head, before her hue goes back to luna. âits a lot easier to swim in, no water trying to push you one way or another. so iâve heard.â she murmurs, because obviously raven had never been swimming. âiâm sorry about your home. and your family, luna.â she whispers, truth in her voice and her hue. she was sorry. she knew what it was like to lose the only family you had, to lose the only home that you had, and to resort to nothing. being back here, felt nostalgic in a sense. but it also brought closer to raven also. âfancy breakfast? i know you havenât eaten, and you made that delicious meal. least you deserve is to have some.â she says, before she was moving back to the bed, slow movements, as she didnât want to fall flat on her face. she guided herself down on the bed, her hand going to the brace and picking it up before she moved it behind her leg, so she could strap it back on. she sometimes hated the brace, a reminder of what was lost, but it did help her move around a lot easier. her hip still ached, but she figured it was because of the running around she did, she figured it would ache quite a bit. her eyes looked up to luna, a soft and gentle smile appearing there. âif you want, before we get food i can show you the showers if you want one. might be able to find you some clean clothes, to wear while your ones are getting cleaned.â she tells her, tightening up one strap, adjusting the brace and moving her hands to the next strap.
the moment ravenâs hand moved for her, lunaâs eyes dropped right to it before her hue went back to hers, knowing what she was doing and why. touch between her and raven was never lacking in care and luna learned far enough back to trust her in that regard and without missing a beat anymore. âhow long does it take for the moon to get from there.....to over there...â she glanced to the window to point from one side of the window to the other where the moon could no longer even be seen at all. âthatâs how long i slept.â she tells her, tilting her head a little where raven touched her neck. she could still feel soreness of muscle there and if there was bruising it would be there like any other, a week or so. her eyes felt better, less dry and less glazed over at the same time. âi didnât sleep in your bed. thereâs no aversion to that, i just didnât get to it before i fell asleep.â she pointed over to the spot on the floor beside ravenâs bed as raven dropped her hand away from her neck. her dark eyes smiled lightly on her. âif i hadnât carried you it would have been someone else and no one here is quick enough to keep you from hitting the floor when you abandon your chair without warning.â she smiled more, her tone obviously playing gently with her, because raven had slid right off of her stool from how tired she had been. luna moved her hand to pull at the wrapping her arm, ready to have that off of her and no longer covering the ink there or making her arm sore from itâs presence, so showering could make that feel better.Â
her eyes went out the window and the answer to ravenâs question was a complicated one, one lunaâs eyes informed her off even before she parted her lips to answer. âcomplicated, itâs....bittersweet.â and luna wasnât sure she knew how to talk about it or if she wanted to, if she was even willing to let her thoughts stir back up over what was difficult or not. her eyes burned and her throat tightened but a few blinks cleared that up and she swallowed everything else, covering ravenâs hand lightly with her own to squeeze it before she let her own fall. âitâs in the past and thatâs where it needs to stay. every day will either get easier or itâll be the same, but i donât foresee it being worse, so thatâs something i guess.â she adds, ravenâs apology making her eyes weakened again but luna was as quick of mind as she was of motion and she nodded just once, her lips turning up slightly with a small smile. âhome is here now.â she admits. âfamily is here now. at least you if no one else. iâm okay with that.â raven mattered to her, was her rock when she felt like she was sinking; a very possible feeling even for luna. steadiness and familiarity came in the form of the woman in front of her. âi'm hungry, yeah.â and the shower sounded like the next best step to take so luna nodded to that too while raven moved to put her brace on, her eyes glancing down at her clothing. she didnât need much, and with ravenâs words she hoped coming by some extra articles of clothing was possible because she didnât think any of them came up with more than what they were wearing and luna knew fabric enough to know none of it would last any of them six years. âthese wonât last and people probably their bed sheets and blankets.âÂ
