my entire existence is yearning

but i never made it to law school. and i-i never got to see paris in the spring and i never got to stay over in yellowstone because it was too crowded and

it was my birthday yesterday. i am now 24.

i love my husband but sometimes i feel like there is something fundamentally wrong with putting my life on hold for a man. i feel like im going back years of progress that women have made, but it is my choice and that's what women wanted. i regret being too distracted during school and graduating later than i should have. i would have had a job post grad if i didn't do that, and i would've been living independently in my own apartment. but. i graduated later and now i am going to be reliant on a man for the foreseeable future. i love being in a partnership but there is smth instinctual in me that needs my independence. i do not want to live my life with regrets of what i did and didn't do. i want to go to law school and i want to have a fancy software engineering job and i want to learn math and i want to do my masters and do research and i want to be an influencer and i want so many things in life that i just need to work for.
