Sorry I haven’t posted there for a while🙈

I was in a candle mood so I made a couple of small ones with soy wax. Mostly I wanted to experiment with polymer clay decoration on the glass candle jar, very happy with the result <3 They smell sooo good, I put a nice spicy automnal fragrance oil in them :D

The color of the candle wax itself is quite fare from was I had in mind, I wanted something swirly but all the colours ended up blended together, although stirred only once :/ but it’s ok, it’s a first trial :)

Yes, I’ve finished the clay part and at this point it only lacks paint.

But it gave me quite a bit of trouble and I’ve made some mistakes, and I’m not very happy with the result anymore :/

I’ve finally watched Nausicaa yesterday with my partner (he’s catching up with all the Ghibli/Miyazaki movies), it ended up being one of his favourite Miyazaki movies and now he’s begging me to make him an Ohmu XD

This is a great idea, so ofc I said yes... /faceplant.

And for once I did remember to take a pic of the armature aha... Even though I’m not sure it’s good enough and I may end up making another one, I’ll see.

Since it’s just the armature (and some spreaded out grey clay), this wip very underwhelming I’m afraid lol... But I do actually have a rough idea of how I should proceed, so let’s see how it goes!

I’ve finally received these cute mini glass jar/pendant, been doing a mini mushrooms-on-moss pendant trial.

She’s finally done and coated <3 (don’t mind my ugly nails please..)

Can’t tell you how happy I am with the result <3

Colours are actually more accurate in the first picture, just imagine the body slightly blueish, but definitely not as blue as the rest of the pictures, not sure why the photoshoot with better light turned out that blue -___-

I’ll varnish it with something matte and not glossy, and in the end it’s just a Galaxy Hound lol.

I’m thinking about selling it, maybe..

Made with super sculpey medium blend, transluscent fimo, some wire, aluminium foil and acrylic paint.

Aaand the little Spring Spirit is done! Finally! :D (at least the sculpting part...)

Super happy with the result! My favourite part was making and adding all these tiny leaves on the whole body and face, and making the eyes <3

Pfiou... This one has been quite a challenge, but it’s finally baked, and the overall shape won’t change much now (although I still need to finish the tail). It’s my first sculpture with armature, and also my biggest so far!! Comes with a moveable tail, also.

It’s a quite nightmare-ish lapis lazuli creature of the night and forest. There are things I could definitely improve, it’s not perfect, but I’m overall super pleased with its skinny/bone shape and the impression it makes. Not very cute lol sorry... It also poses very well, which is a big victory aha.

One of the most challenging part has been the paws. It’s not exactly what I had in mind initially but I do like the result. Muscles were also pretty challenging, and the eyes were a bit too big but had to make it work. The visible ribs were really, really something I wanted, but I made them wayyy too early in the process and I couldn’t bake it yet, it was a literal nightmare to not mess them up, and I re-did the abdomen part about 1000 times because it’s the only place I could grab hold of it, and it was done before the legs/paws... T_T rip me.

It now only needs paint work (apart from the tail), and also still unsure whether or not I’ll add more texture details, like some fur at some place etc. Will think about it.
