subserviiient:
“Well, everyone makes mistakes from time to time, and if ours happened to make us look like convicted criminals, then so be it, I guess,” She hums, wiping her fingers on her already soaked shirt then patting his shoulder when they’re clean. “Plus- this is a learning experience for next time, so it’s not that much of an issue.”
The brunette paused when he told her to sit down, surprised by the fact he was so firm on it, given that they both had caused the mess, she didn’t expect him to be so firm on him being the one to clean up the mess. Still, it was kinda sweet.
“You don’t have to, you know? I don’t mind cleaning up-” Still, he went off to do it on his own so she went to sit down and look at the meat, making sure it doesn’t bubble over or that they can add the vegetables when needed. “By the way, do you have a spare shirt? I can clean both of ours later, but I think you’ll need a replacement.” Then again, didn’t he wear one underneath like she did?
“Eh, it’ll be their damn fault they can’t take a f---in’ joke.” Koga scoffed, shrugging his shoulders dismissively. “Damn buncha sissies that can’t stand seein’ a l’iiiil bit of blood!” Although, a frown formed on his brow as he watched Anzu add more tomato stains to her already stained shirt. That’s going to be tough to remove.
“Shaddap! I’m cleanin’; yer watchin’, now shut your damn trap!” Koga growled in response, returning with the cleaning tools, and started keeping away the already-used utensils, depositing them into the kitchen sink. Yet, even as he grumbled and growled, he was diligent in cleaning up the mess.
“Hhah...Uh, yeah,” he paused from his wiping to look at his dirty clothes, “I always bring one after practice...”
“What about you? Don’t tell me you wanna borrow my shirt...!” The air in the kitchen was beginning to smell of stew cooking as it simmered away.
