The Vindicator Hour

We kick off a sunny day in Cleveland with a variety of ambient tunes, insightful conversation and poetry.

We discuss the legacy of segregation and how it still affects Cleveland today with Rafeeq Roberts, adjunct instructor at the Ohio Media School and local filmmaker and playwright. Kelton Latson, former president of the Speak Up Poetry Slam Organization at CSU joins the conversation.

 Guests: Louis Walee, CSU masters student in Global Interactions who has visited Ghana, Africa multiple times joins us to talk about revolutionizing the diet to raise one’s consciousness.

 We debut a few new segments: Book Chapters, in which we read literary segments. This week’s reading was from the Unbearable Lightness of Being by Milan Kundera; and the 52 Lists Project. This week’s list was “List the things that make your spirit feel free”.

Guests: Membership Chair for the Cleveland Sierra Club Danny Poslet (also former Field Organizer for NextGen Climate and Cleveland State Masters student in Environmental Studies) joins us to talk about climate change and environmental action.
